We were driving home from Florida and decided to stop here I wish we wouldn’t have wasted the money. The lady at check in was amazingly nice but that was the best part. You could hear everything the walls and floor were paper thin. While checking in it sounded like a herd of elephants were having a dance party over the front desk. The elevator made me feel like I was back in Disney on the Hollywood tower of terror it would start moving with the door open and do these weird drops and stops. When we got up to the 3rd floor we entered into the movie the shining as it looked like some of the room doors had axes taken to them. We entered the room and it had an overwhelming smell of cleaning fluid that smelled similar to cigarette smoke. The bathroom shower curtain was covered in what I hope was rust stains. The walls were all bubbled up with water damage. Our ceiling corners had a massive amount of water damage too. The room was freezing when we arrived so we switched it to heat being that it was 40ish out and surely didn’t need the ac that was running. There were two temperatures North Pole and Hell no in between. We went to settle into bed to find that the one bed was soaked. Not damp but drenched I don’t even want to know what it was drenched in but because the hotel was sold out we only had the option of changing the sheets. Breakfast was a joke they didn’t have enough equipment and the room is too small the poor staff was apologizing when it wasn’t their fault at all.…
So don't let my 3 stars fool you there is nothing wrong with this hotel. It is a perfectly good 1 nighter right off the interstate. It was clean and had nice employees. It's not going to win any awards for being pretty, modern, or fancy but it was a reasonably comfortable bed in a clean room for a night which is what we needed. It does not have good sound proofing so if you a light sleeper ask for an isolated room if possible. Typical mid level breakfast provided. Powdered eggs, frozen sausage and continental breakfast supplies.
Charged twice on account one for $109 for a one night stay another unexplained for $117. When asked about it the staff said they didn’t see anything on the computer both changes we’re back to back from the hotel someone is lying watch your wallet
We stopped here on our way home from Florida. Great parking - we were toeing a trailer. Lots of double pull in parking. Check-in was accommodating - wr asked to change room to be overlooking the parking - no problem. Shower pressure was a bit weak. we would stay here again.
We just stayed overnight while traveling. The room was clean and good size. There was a bag breakfast for the road. The staff was pleasant. There seemed to be proper covid precautions. There was only a couple minor maintenance issues in the room like dripping faucet.
