This was a quick overnight stay when my flight got cancelled. Staff was very friendly. Room and hotel public areas were clean. They also have a free airport shuttle which was nice. I didn’t get to use it (or have their free breakfast) as I had to leave at 5am and both those things start at 6. However they were great amenities to have available if I left later.

My husband and I spent the night at the Hampton Inn Roanoke near the Airport on our way to a family reunion on Smith Island Lake. We rented four Houseboats to be secluded, yet together as a family. The Hotel manager was extremely proficient in explaining to us the procedures to follow during our stay. We were so satisfied with the attention to detail and the cleanliness of our room, that on our return trip home we called the manager and asked if they could accommodate the rest of our family for one night. There were a total of 15 that came back to the Hampton Thursday evening (July 30) -- the staff was happy to help...all rules were explained to us and we were all on the same floor. Our family was so impressed after some had a poor experience with another Motel. As an added bonus, we were given a hot breakfast individually at a window pick up. The manager Erin Flowers, went above and beyond to get food, coffee, and water out to us. We gave them all a big thank you and ten gold stars for a great experience during this difficult time, allowing us to be together as a family. Great job!!!

This hotel is very nice. They have plenty of restaurants around the hotel where you can get food. The hotel provides a limited breakfast but it was nice they had that for our family.
They have coffee in the morning and the girl working brittani was so sweet, She is very personable and all the workers had their masks on and they were constantly cleaning which made me feel better esp. with COVID 19
We will be back around Christmas and deff will stay here again

Came to town for a hockey tournament in Vinton. We were so excited to be able to bring our dogs. The hotel is super clean and over the top for Covid precautions— masks on all employees, extra at the front desk for patrons who don’t have them, remote cleaned and in a sealed bag, room sealed at the door to signify cleaning. Josh was great checking us in and explaining all the hotel changes for breakfast and what amenities were available. They are doing preorder breakfast with so many choices— I was super impressed. There is a great HUGE grassy field behind the hotel that is perfect for letting the dogs stretch their legs. This is by far the most pet friendly and welcoming staff. We’ve seen at least 5 different rooms with pups.

This place was great, very clean and social distancing as they should be amidst this crazy pandemic I love that they now have little freezers that have meals that you can put in the microwave and accommodate some of the people like myself that like to eat a little more healthy on the road. I especially was thankful to avervelle who was kind and very accommodating with a big smile Which goes along way in times like these. Will most certainly stay again as we travel across from Myrtle Beach to Pennsylvania. Thanks again and see you soon! Thank y’all

The hand sanitizer dispenser at the elevator and side door were empty. The elevator floor was dirty and needed to be mopped.
In my room I went to use the extra pillow and blanket in the closet, the bag was not zipped and the pillowcase had makeup on it, which meant it had been previously used and the house keeping staff did not check it or replace with a clean pillowcase and blanket.

I stayed at this property Friday night and checked out Saturday morning. Brittani who was working at the front desk was so sweet and kind she went out of her way to help my family with our stay I really enjoyed how the hotel has hand sanitizer everywhere. All the staff had their masks on it was really comforting

I just spent 2 nights at this hotel for business. When I checked in, the girl at the desk was very nice and helpful. I checked into room 131. When I walked in, I really loved seeing the big room. I especially like the huge desk, chair and TV. Once I got settled, I noticed this constant humming noise in the room. I looked around for anything that could be causing the noise, in hopes of unplugging it or turning it off, but it seemed to be coming from the walls. Long story short, the humming never stopped and I was up half the night with a pillow over my head. When I walked out for breakfast, I noticed that I was right next door to the "Sprinkler Room" aka "Humming Room" I immediately went to the front desk and asked for another room for night 2, The guy at the desk was awesome and got me another room right away. I don't think I am the first person to ever complain about this room. Not sure what we would have done it the hotel was sold out. Anyway, I got a great night's sleep on night 2. I had a great stay, but just be aware of room 131 unless you are hard of hearing and can sleep through anything.

Booked room and was unable to get it due to being told rooms are given out on a 1st come 1st basis, not according to reservations. Evening staff rude. Had to settle for king bed with fold out sofa bed (which I didn't want daughter to have to sleep on). When asked about being compensated for the change was advised I would get the king bed room for the price of the 2 queen, as if he was giving me a favor. Very disappointed and would not recommend staying here cause chances are you will not get the type of room you requested.

We do have guest laundry facilities on property. It does cost $2.50 to wash and $2.50 to dry.
Mine only had a shower.
