I found perfection in the Hotel Jardin de Granada, Nicaragua. The place is gorgeous they paid attention to every detail as they created this gorgeous refuge. The view of the volcanos and the city with all the amazing green vegetation is simply incredible. The owners Marcia and Michael are fantastic I can’t sing enough of their praises. Moving in permanently would be the only correct thing to do…
Hotel Jardín de Granada was a perfect stay. Marcia and Michael were so accommodating, mind, helpful, friendly, funny, engaging, etc. - I could seriously go on! The hotel itself is beautiful, truly feeling like a secret garden. It was clean, beautiful, quiet, and made us feel luxurious. The breakfast options were generous, and after the first time we ordered the kitchen remembered what we liked, so that even if we ordered to our rooms they made sure we received things the way we did the first time. They really made us feel taken care of and welcomed to Granada, and it was nice to come back "home" to a friendly face asking about our day. They liased with all of our tour guides, and helped us get transportation to the airport - it was the perfect stay!
We were four adults there for five nights and all agree that this hotel met all our expectations, and more. Excellent value for the very reasonable cost. I agree with everything said in the previous reviews. The fact that the hotel is new (6 years old) but with old world charm, makes it unique in Granada. And to top it off, the owners Michael and Marcia are perfect hosts. They even offered us boxed breakfasts for our very early departure this morning. We will surely book here again for our next visit.
Perfect accommodation in Granada, you get a lot of value for your money. The family owners especially are great host’s, providing good service and good tips for your Granada experience. We are definitely coming back to stay in this hotel soon.
I was skeptical when I read all the great reviews...it can't be that good I thought to myself. Well, it is that good! From the comfortable rooms, the outstanding breakfast and the beautiful grounds and scenery....it is our new go to place in Granada. I'm almost afraid to post this, I don't want to share! Marcia and Michael and their staff are truly some of the best people I've ever encountered in Nicaragua. You will not go wrong staying with these folks. Five stars aren't enough.
This is garden oasis in the middle of a beautiful city. The lush garden, cool pool and immaculately cleaned beautiful rooms are amazing but the true gem of this hotel are the proprietors, Michael and Marcia. ANUTHING you need, want or have questions about they will help you. They arranged transportation from the Managua airport and also to a trip to the volcano for us and answered many, many questions about their town. This hotel should be your home base to explore this beautiful city. We will be back!
I came to visit for a few days and stayed 3 weeks and gained a wonderful friendship along the journey. The owners Michael & Marcia have a beautiful facility and offer the best hospitality anyone could ask for. And the breakfasts Marcia makes are incredible. I appreciate most all of the advice they gave me about travels in and around Granada and the background and stories of Nicaragua tourism. And for letting me tag along to some of their favorite locations. For me I would stay no where else while visiting Granada on future trips!!!!!!
My family of 8 and I had great time st El Jardin Hotel. Its pool is situated among these beautiful plants and it's so serene. Marcia arranged our transportation from Managua to her hotel and also arranged an awesone day trip to Aguas Agrias to swim. Marcia is an incredible host always willing to help. We even had our cothes washed there. The rooms are impecabble, extremely clean and well maintained. We would defintely go back again.
I stayed here for a week and it was paradise. Incredibly clean and the hospitality was second to none. Carlos was incredible, nothing was too much for him. Michael and Marcia were amazing. Unfortunately due to a trapped femoral nerve, I was bed ridden for 3 nights and couldn't walk. I cannot say thank you enough to all the staff. They cooked for me, arranged, for a Dr and Physio, did my shopping and allowed my friends to visit and stay with me all day. This was such a beautiful place and I only wished I could have taken full advantage of its beauty. I will visit again without a shadow of a doubt. In my view 5 stars.
The hotel is professionally run by the owners Michael and Marcia with their excellent team. Safe, very clean with comfortable and spacious rooms with air conditioning and great views of Granada town and the Volcano. The pool is impeccably clean and great to return to after a days activities or, as we did, for a relaxing day drinking their choice of cocktails. Very cold beers too. With his travelling experience Michael provides exceptional advice of travel in the region and beyond and assisted us in planning our future plans. In our experience rare in other establishments. Marcia and Rebecca prepare tasty breakfast and lunch options and help is provided in ordering takeaways for evening meals if you require. However, the hotel is in a convenient location for walking to the many restaurants and bars with the added benefit of being located in a quiet area. We walked safely day and night into town but if this is a concern then taxis are cheap to use. We didn’t find the need to. A perfect location as a base for the region. Due to the number of rooms, impeccable cleaning and their spacious garden and pool area, I also couldn’t think of a better hotel to base yourself during these current Coronavirus times.…
