The hotel is bit old but well-maintained. It’s close to highway and we asked for a room facing away from it.
Room size is average but clean. Carpet has shown its age.
Customer service was at its best, from front desk to cleaning team.
Hot breakfast was delicious, and Regina tirelessly welcomed and served guests with big smile.

Although I only stayed for a night, this was one of the best stays I've had at a Holiday Inn Express! Michelle at the Front Desk was super helpful and polite, and seemed to genuinely care about guest experience and customer service. Hotel is very clean, room had a great layout, not the same boring hotel room. Clean, convenient, and comfortable. The gym was more than adequate for a quick "travel" workout before heading off to a day of meetings. I really enjoyed staying here and will certainly be back.

Before I picked this Hotel I checked the reviews and the reviews were good except for 1 or 2 so I selected this hotel. First concern the room is too small, standard 1 King Bed and sofa bedroom one. Second concern the bathroom is designed on an angle which allows the outside light above your door to shine in the room. Sleeping in the bed you can see the light coming through around the entire door, that effected my sleep didn't get any sleep that night. You should never design the bathroom on angle because of that problem. Had you kept the wall going straight that would prevent some of the light from coming inside the room. Third concern most hotels have removed tubs and just have a shower only. I don't know who would want to take a bath in a hotel tub. Fourth problem the sink is too small, most hotel bathrooms have a double sink or extra space on one side. They offer continental breakfast but both waffle maker machines were broken. This room cost too much of money for me to have these problems. I would not stay at this Hotel ever again.

Look I get it, these days people bend over and take it when they hear "Due to Covid regulations....". But this hotel takes this to the next level. First of all, the website continues to display all of the amenities to lure you in, but fails to adequately inform you of what you will NOT be receiving at the location you choose. Once again, it will say ( and you will be charged for) "Indoor Pool" or "Free Breakfast Buffet" and you will receive at the location "due to covid regulations....". This location does offer a child school breakfast like bagged meal, or sometimes a hot meal but it is just 1 small serving, not a buffet and it will be given to you by the lunch lady. Covid is an issue, and I do not want to down play that, but IHG please either fix the website to accurately display what you are offering and relax your pricing to reflect what you will actually receive.

I have no idea how the reviews of this hotel are so positive. The staff is friendly and helpful so that is one positive remark I can make. Other than that, this hotel is a waste of money. It is very dirty and in need of updates. The majority of the outlets in the room didn’t work (the plugs just fell out), stained carpeting, stained wall paper, dust everywhere, stale smell in the room, broken door knob and towel hook in the bathroom, and last but not least, blood on the sheets. We were in the room a very limited amount of time and when we had downtime, we hung out with our friends in the very clean, fresh smelling lobby of the Courtyard Hilton where they paid less for a bigger, cleaner room. I tried moving to this hotel but it was booked (no surprise).

We have always been impressed with Holiday Inns that we have stayed at but sadly that was not the case last night. We found this hotel after a stressful couple of hours of searching for a place to stay after a bad experience at another hotel. We chose this Holiday Inn over a couple of other places, even though it was more expensive, because we knew we would get a good hotel... so we thought. We were very disappointed with what we got for the amount of money we paid. We had stained bedsheets, dirty countertops, hair on the floor in the bathroom, a general dirty feel to the room & outlets that would not hold a plug. They gave us clean bed sheets but we has to take care of it ourselves. The only redemption that we could find was that the breakfast was decent with relatively decent selection. This is the only reason why we are giving it a 2 and not a 1.

The hotel was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Our room had a King bed which was comfortable but the room layout was very crowded. It was hard for 2 people to navigate. The bathroom was extra small as well. We could hear the people in the next room very clearly.
They did have and outside patio where smoking was allowed so that was a perk for my husband to have a cigar. Parking was very tight and didn't have enough spaces.
The breakfast was served by staff due to COVID and was less than good.
It was definitely overpriced for what we experienced.

I stayed here last night - room 518 - and was eaten by bedbugs, along with my husband and 8 month old daughter. I turned on the light to see one next to my daughter's head. I called down to the front desk. Someone came up and said that he'd never seen this before and that he'd be switching our rooms, and comping us for the night.
We switched rooms but honestly, I was so freaked out that we checked out at 3am. The receipt shows that we were charged although they insist that we weren't. Time will tell, and I don't have the energy right now to fight that battle. I feel like burning every thing I brought with us. Thanks Holiday Inn Express

Thank you for your recent inquiry. Our hotel does not have a bar, however we are within walking distance to several food and beverage facilities. Additionally the Penininsula Town Center is located across from the hotel which offers a wide variety of beverage options.

We do not offer shuttle service, however we can provide you with a listing of alternative transportation options with a local taxi or limousine service. We are located within a mile of the coliseum so the cost would be minimal.
