It’s an older hotel, but it has all the amenities covered: decent free breakfast, decent free WiFi, decent basic pool. I stayed during a weekday for approx $85 and it was fine. Hallways smelled of smoke, but my room was scent free. Yes it’s a little worn due to age, but for the price it was a solid value.

Our first impression as we entered the lobby was very positive - a nicely decorated Christmas tree set off the area. The person at the desk was very helpful and positive in their interactions with us. Our "suite" was quite large compared to the usual motel/hotel room (especially when compared to some city or European rooms). The room appearance as we entered was also quite inviting. The room appeared to have fresh paint (no dings or nicks). Everything worked as it should. To find something to lower my rating from excellent - the bathroom fan was quite noisy (though it did function well keeping the mirror from steaming up), and the towels were not thickly luxurious (though there were four bath towels for the two of us). And another positive, the attendant at breakfast was quite helpful and attentive-thank you.

We had a suite with a king size bed. At first I thought that someone had laid in the bed prior to us getting there. (See photo) That is the way the bed looked when we got in the room. We checked the bedding and it appeared to be clean. I was happy that I brought my slippers because the carpet was so filthy that I didn't want to put my bare feet on it. The towels were very thin but a nice size vanity with tub and shower. The mattress was very comfortable and we slept well or it could have been because we were so tired. (We got in at 12:45 a.m. which is why we didn't bother to complain at the front desk about the room.) There was a microwave and a nice size refrigerator.
I had to ask about the breakfast. The person at the front desk didn't offer any information (i.e. time, location) The breakfast was nothing to write home about. There were mini biscuits, bagels, sausage, gravy, waffle boiled eggs, OJ, apple juice, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Wasn't very appetizing.
The hotel definitely needs to be updated. The hotel corridors were drab to say the least. Even though the manager refunded us a small portion of our bill, I know we will not stay there again until it's been renovated. Very happy we were there for one night.

In the future I will avoid all Sleep Inns. This hotel was so dirty I was afraid to stay. You should not have to forfeit money when a hotel is unacceptable. Our first room had some type of pasta sauce on the floor and both beds showed blood and some type of yellow staining. The bathroom looked like it had not been cleaned after the last visitor. The lady at the front desk apologized and gave us another room. Again stained carpet and bed linen. We took our sanitizers and cleaned the room and sprayed the sheets with disinfectant. The only good thing about this dump are the employees which is why I gave 2 stars. We cloud not wait to leave this dingy dirty place.

I had booked a room here to attend a college graduation; I should have slept in the car instead. Although the desk clerk was friendly and very nice, the room -- and the experience were horrible. Upon entering the room I could see that the floor had not been vacuumed; there were not just small crumbs of food on on the floor there were almost bite-sized pieces of crackers and other things on the floor. I went down to the front desk and told the clerk, who came up and vacuumed it herself because it was 5:30 p.m. and cleaning staff were likely gone. On the wall in the shower where a soap dish had obviously been was was just a large and ugly scar with no effort to replace or fix it. I could see that the original shower curtain was hung with a straight rod but they replaced it with a curved rod to allow more room when showering, The problem with that was that they never properly fixed the holes in the wall where the previous shower rod was attached. Instead there were hardened blobs of some kind of caulking that was never sanded flat. Surprise, surprise, after taking a shower the tub drain was not draining and the dirty water backed up ankle deep. The bathroom floor had white or light gray tile with ugly black grout. I couldn't tell where the dark caulk ended and what looked like dark mold began. The bolt lock on the door to the room was not aligned with the proper space in the frame, so although the handle would lock the bolt would not because it was not hitting in its designated space. I didn't even trust that the drink cups in plastic were safe to use and not recycled. The next morning Inn was serving its regular complimentary breakfast, but after spending one night in the sleeping room there was no way I wanted to put anything from there in my stomach. It was simply the worst lodging experience I have ever had as an adult. If this is your only available option to stay in the area, book a room at a Marriott or Hilton property in Bristol; get up two hours early and drive to your event! The company that owns Sleep Inn & Suites has no pride in its product otherwise it would never allow one to look and present like this!!!

My daughter, granddaughter, service dog and myself spent the night of 7/20/2020 at the Sleep Inn, Dublin, NC. On our way to Georgia to celebrate my mother's 81st birthday. After 12hrs of driving we decided it was time to stop. In a coupon book found a deal for $59. Quite the deal compared to the high prices in Connecticut where we live. I choose this hotel because it was rated well by AAA. Will never consider an AAA rating in the future. Front desk, Linda I believe was her name 4 stars. Didn't catch the name of the lady on her hands and knees scrubbing every inch of the area where the included "Deluxe Breakfast" was held. 10 + stars for this woman! She should be cleaning the rooms because our room was disgusting. It was both old dirt and new dirt. New dirt: rings left on the furniture from drinks. I wiped them myself and it came off quickly and easily. Old dirt: afraid to put my bare feet on the floor of the shower. Loads of dust behind a chair in the corner of the room along with a candy wrapper and dental floss. A/C filters (2) loaded with dust. Ran my fingernail across the edge of the desktop, wicked yuck! Not like any of these things can't be seen. Sheets were clean. Beds comfortable. Didn't charge for the service dog. Breakfast ok but not deluxe. Wouldn't stay there again. Outrageously filthy especially due to the times-- Covid 19

We just returned from a 2 night stay at your Dublin property. We are very disappointed. There was stained and torn carpeting in the entrance, hallways and rooms. The curtains were torn down. Elevators was not functioning. There was mold on the ceiling of our room that caused an allergic attack. We requested service for our room and all we got was removal of soiled towels but no clean towels were provided, trash was not removed, & no sweeping of the room or bed service was given. There was no ice on property and we were told we could purchase some at one of the local convenience stores. While Linda at the front desk was nice at Check-in, most of the time the front desk and desk phone were unmanned. Trying to enter the property was difficult as well and we ran over a bolt in our corvette. Your notation asked us to ‘pardon the dust’ implying minor repairs were being done. What we saw requires a major overhaul and no one should be staying at this property. It is unsafe and does not even begin to represent the level of quality your company typically offers.

I am appalled, mold in room and $1300 held by this Hotel;

i had made (12) reservations for this property for the 2023 college football weekends - I have cancelled all of them as of 9/4/23 due to the existence of mold and mildew in our room and the poor response by Hotel management to correct it on 9/2/23 when we checked into our room, yes I have video of the mold conditions; The Hotel was fully booked, so why bother?

To add insult, I had made these reservations in January 2023 while the Hotel was Sleep Inn, I had good lodging experiences the previous football season, so was willing to do so again. The reservations were through Choice Hotel as PAY NOW & SAVE, with free cancellation up to 2 two days prior to arrival, the Hotel changed franchisers to Wingate to Wyndham in March 2023;

Half of the reservations were cancelled in April and the remainder in September, although I called the property in March and April to reconfirm the original reservations, the Hotel refuses to refund any of the charges on my credit card for the (12) reservation charges, about $1300. Everyone in the food chain has been contacted, Choice Hotels, Wingate by Wyndham, Hotel Property: Wingate.

Franchiser, Hotel Ownership and Management are not customer oriented, the rooms are marginal at best and they are not honoring the online reservation system.

BEWARE this is a distressed property

I wish I'd read the reviews before staying here.

Pros: Great view from the room. I asked for a view of the open field, and they honored it.

The staff were very friendly when I checked in. Also, not too crowded, which made it nice. Just a handful of cars in the parking lot.

Cons: The rooms of the hotel had a very musty smell. I asked for a different room, and the lady at the front desk was very kind, allowing me to move rooms.
Unfortunately, the musty smell was in the new room, as well. There is mold and mildew here, and it would be unhealthy to stay here for an extended period of time. I began sneezing on the second day and getting a headache and sore throat, but don’t have allergies.

The carpets throughout the hotel are incredibly dirty. The TV options seemed to be one channel that was analog, and it had lines running through the picture.

You might be tempted to stay here because of the low pricing but it's not worth it, even at the cheap rates, owing to the overpowering smell of must and mildew. It made it hard to relax enough to sleep or focus on work, which was largely why I booked a room here. The owner needs to do something about the awful smell in the rooms, and have a company come in and remove the mold and mildew.

The smell is a dead giveaway that there’s mold here. As mold and mildew colonies grow, they release volatile organic compounds (VOCs) as part of their metabolic processes. These VOCs are responsible for the characteristic musty and unpleasant odor associated with mold and mildew.

Just gross.

* Update: After checking out on the 2nd day when I was planning to stay 4, the hotel charged my card more than they were supposed to. I should have only been charged for one night, but they charged me for 2.5. I shouldn't have been charged at all, honestly. They shouldn't even be allowed to rent rooms until they take care of the mold problem. This hotel WILL make you sick if you stay here. I am still coughing after staying only one night.

I don't know. I've never taken a pet to a hotel. Their website should be able to answer it or you could call the front desk of the particular hotel.
