I had a king size bedroom with sitting room suite. The room was nicely decorated and comfortable. A room safe is provided along with a microwave oven, refrigerator, and single cup coffee maker. However, no bedside USB ports were provided but bed bedside lamps did have electrical outlets. The hotel is close to I81 and about 3 miles from Radford University.

Stayed over recently. Front desk lady was super friendly. Room was for the most part clean. There were some cobwebs high up and the sink area was not super clean. The beds were somewhat uncomfortable. The air/hear vent blew directly onto one of the beds and it could not be pointed in a different direction which made sleeping a bit uncomfortable. Overall not a bad stay but with a few minor tweaks could be a much more pleasant stay.

Good value but in the need of a good cleaning. Nice young man working the desk in the evening but the hotel looks "sad" grab n go breakfast with all the chairs stacked on the tables, dirty upholstered chair in the room, shower needed a good cleaning. Unfortunate because the property seemed to be a decent place at one time. For the price and if the new hotel across the street was not available I guess it would work. Looked like they took dogs.

I travel to and from Massachusetts about twice a year and whenever possible I stayed at this hotel until recently.
The first room we were placed in had no toilet paper, a defrosted refrigerator that smelled like rotten eggs and trash in the freezer.
The second room we stayed in had hair in the bathtubs, hair on the bathroom floor, trash on the bathroom floor and carpet, a yogurt in the fridge and again only half a roll of toilet paper.
Paying just shy of $100 for my wife and I to enjoy the Whirlpool. It would not come on at first. When called the front desk I was offered a third room or a maintenance man in about 15 to 20 minutes.
(P.S. The Whirlpool did come on eventually without the help of maintenance.)
My wife and I came here because previously we had enjoyed every stay, but something has gone wrong.
We were offered an additional $15 off the room, however I personally feel that whoever was running this hotel and whoever is running this hotel needs to have a sit down and discuss the differences.
Both front desk clerks work exceptionally polite that was Angela and Victoria.
However how many times should the guests expect to move rooms to find a clean one?
(Has anyone on housekeeping here heard of COVID 19?)
I hate to see a good thing go bad but this one has.
There will be a follow up post tomorrow after I check out and make sure everything went well with billing and to keep you all informed on how things they turn out in the end.
(One last note. I asked if I could just check out and get a full refund however that was denied to me because I wanted to find a hotel that was actually clean and not have to drive back to Tennessee tonight.)
If they do not honor the $15.00 refund or something above and beyond that tomorrow upon check out I am making a promise that on the 21st of every month for the rest of this year I will post this experience over and over again.
The lack of cleanliness in this room unacceptable especially in these times.

We contact our maintenance department immediately in order to have them take a look at the issue you were experiencing with the whirlpool. During the process of his travels our staff informed me that the whirlpool was in working order. We again, apologize for any issue you experienced in this regard. I have spoken with my housekeeping staff and informed them of the importance of cleanliness, now during this current difficult time, but also for the future. As you are aware, since you have stayed with us a few times, this is not an example of how we maintain our property. We made the adjustment for the discount that was offered you on your final bill; before check out, so there will be no credit that will be refunded, as we posted the final payment after doing so. A friend and I stayed at the comfort inn in Christainsburg. The first night the smoke alarm went off the steam from the hot tub was steaming up the room the front desk clerk beat on the door and demanded to come in. I tried to tell her it was the steam but she demanded it was smoke. The second night my friend was there while I was out and uses the hot tub. The front desk clerk opened the door and came on on him and seen the room steamed up. When I returned they came in again I told them it was the senor it was right above the tub. It was sending smoke in the room when it was steaming up everything. . She then informed me we might be getting a charge on my card for smoke damage if $250. Even though it was not us smokinf it was the steam and then told us the fire dept may come and investigate within the hour. We want cleared till the ews light went off. Due to a college graduation there were no other rooms in the area. Our 3 days we were there we were on edge and couldn't use the hot tub without being barges in on. I was billed $845.35 then another $259.00 then after that 302.68. Totaling $1,414.94 for 3 days of being on edge and not being able to relax and enjoy our stay. .

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay experience. Allow me to explain the reasoning as to why your account was charged a smoking in the room fee. During the registration process you initial for acceptance, the area that explains our Smoking policy. When our smoke alarm is triggered; it is our responsibility to investigate in order to make absolutely certain that all of our guests, and staff members, are safe from any harm. Therefore, we will enter any room that our system indicates a need, or any area in which our system indicates a problem, at any time. Our rooms are equipped with sensors that strictly detect smoke and not steam. When the alarm sounded the first initial time; I personally inspected your room and explained this to you and your guest. The female guest confirmed that she had smoked in the bathroom out of habit, by mistake. I explained that I would excuse that oversight this time, however if the alarm should sound again, the $250.00 smoking in the room fee; would be applied to your account. The second time the alarm sounded, my staff member communicated the exact same information to you. The alarm sounded for the third and final time in the early morning hours, and your account was charged at that time. I hope this helps clarify any confusion or misunderstandings you may have had. Unsanitary. We found a used tissue and clothing tags on the floor so how well was this room cleaned? No soap in bathroom. TV remote did not work Man at front desk fixed it but when ready to go to sleep would not work again.

The hotel is very clean inside and out and well kept. Our room was also very clean with a nice smell. We slept very well with great pillows. Loved having nice hot water at night and early in the morning for showers!!! Thank you agian Joy!!

We have stayed here before, and have had good visits. This wasn't one of the better ones. To start, our room's fridge did not work. We could've changed rooms, but I just put our stuff in our friend's across the hall. The pool and sauna were not open, for no good reason. We were short on washcloths and towels in the bathroom. Breakfast sign said there would not be a full breakfast, even though their website advertised one. Not impressed this time around.

The first room we were assigned had a terrible mould smell...our "luck" was to have a broken tub in the bathroom making it impossible to use it. Besides, the windows don't open. The second room smelled less bad, but the sheets and pillows had stains and hair/hair...very disgusting. When we went to the reception to complain, there was a family who, when hearing us, said that their beds were dirty too. The hallways smell bad, the mattresses are filthy, the carriages for luggage transportation to break apart, finally bad hotel, I do not advise, nor will I return.

The rooms were pretty standard however they were pretty gross. I had switch rooms twice due to cleanliness. Stains in bed, hair in different places, mildew in bathroom. The customer service was excellent tho. Mary was helpful and accommodating.

We have a travel center right beside of us that has a grill. They are open 24 hours and have excellent food. Otherwise, there are sit down restaurants within 3-7 miles (depending on your taste buds) as well as numerous delivery options.
There are more places to choose from in the Christiansburg area.
