We are a cozy B&B located in Christiansburg, VA about 2 miles off I-81 exit 118C and just minutes to Blacksburg, Radford, and Floyd. All Guest rooms have soft towels and wash cloths, fluffy bathrobes, hair dryer, TV with satellite channels, and a basket stocked with soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner. Continental breakfast items include a mix of fresh pastries, cereal, toast, waffles made by you, fruit, oatmeal, grits, coffee, milk, and juice.

We should have expected problems when we could get two rooms for graduation weekend. This is not a real bed and breakfast. It is a ranch style home in a typical neighborhood. There are no views to really look at or enjoy. It is your normal backyard. The rooms are extremely small and you share a bathroom with three rooms. The bathrooms are not cleaned in between customers so you have no idea who you are showering behind. You also have to make sure you are dressed to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night because you might run into another guest. No privacy. However, after a long, exhausting day of travel and graduation festivities, I looked forward to sleeping late and regaining my energy. I could not believe that we were awakened by the owner's child crying at 6 a.m and cabinet doors slamming. I thought this was a one time incident, but it continued to the point where I could not sleep and just got up, showered and left. I had to find another place to sleep that night because I could not wake up another morning at 6 am to a kid screaming. When I asked for a refund, I was told quiet time was until 6 a.m. ( this is not on the website) Who pays for a room only to be woken up at six am on the weekend? Refused to refund my money. So, if you want a clean place with no privacy and you want to be woken up at six am to the sound of a baby crying, this is the place for you.

Thank you for the review. We have been in business since early 2009, have many return guest, and have never had an unhappy guest before now. I would like to first respond to the comment about three bedrooms and one bathroom. There are 2 bathrooms that are shared by the three bedrooms. This is posted on the first page of the website that guest read before making reservations with us, as there are many B&B's that have shared bathrooms. While we try to keep noise to a minimum, guest have events to attend and may have to be up before others. Quiet time is posted in each room not on the website. The B&B is inspected by the health department and has always passed and noted as very clean.

Griffin B&B was referred to us by a major hotel in Blacksburg, VA. It was very close to Virginia Tech, where we visited our son and attended a football game. Our room was quite large with a king bed. Many amenities including toiletries, drinks and snacks were provided. The place was very clean. And we were able to book/pay online. We will stay there again.
