Apparently they aren't going for good ratings. Friendly staff checked us in, but the room was older and could use some TLC. Lamp shades at an angle because they are too big for the space (1 queen room), but secured to the table, no room for the luggage rack even though it was there. Breakfast appeared to have been set up at 5:45 and left as there were no spoons or bread left by 8:00, AC was noisy, so we left it off and surprisingly not really bothered with traffic noise even on the east side of the building. It just fits "you get what you pay for". (even though it was still $90)

If your looking for a room for a night or two, and you are alone ... take it. If your with your family, absolutely not! Don't get fooled by it having an indoor pool. I stayed here because its out of Salt Lake, and every place < $120 bucks in SL is swarmed by homeless people. Trash! Sandy and surrounding area is safe, and there is plenty of stores to hit up, and restaurants to eat. Its clean, but I still came in and wiped every surface, handle, and toilet seat with Clorox wipes. It doesn't smell. I can't do smells. For $70 and you're not picky ... good to go.

Filthy, falling apart, full of crack heads and people on drugs, the side doors don't even lock so there are people smoking and doing drugs in the hallways. This place should be condemned. The room they tried to give me didn't even have working power in half of it and they said it was fine! They key wouldn't even open the door! We waited 2 hours for them to fix it while we called Expedia for help and the staff didn't even try to do anything about it. During that time we could hear the crackheads fighting in the next room. There was someone on drugs in the lobby and the staff just shrugged and said she's fine. Then a train came by and the whole room shook so bad stuff fell down off the table. The mold in the room was so bad that I couldn't breathe immediately upon walking in (mixed with the smoke and other weird drug smells). Everything was covered in stains, torn, holes in the walls, and really unsavory people wandering throughout the parking lot and hallways the whole time I was waiting. When I told the staff I would not be staying, they tried to tell me I was lying and then as I was taking pictures of the people smoking inside the side door for Expedia, the hotel manager tried to run there before I got there. I mean just absolutely horrible, I cannot believe that Choice Hotels allows this place to use their brand and shame on any sites for listing this as a viable hotel.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL Rooms are in disrepair - large metal cover on A/C falling off in 1st room, hole in ceiling around sprinkler in 2nd room. Wi-Fi did not work (and it was a business trip, and I needed wi-fi to do my work) Woke up to a bed bug crawling in my bed. Management has been very difficult to deal with regarding the bed bug issue. Front staff said I would definitely get a refund, but I had to spend several hours over the phone with parent company to get it. I have serious concerns that they continue to allow guests to stay in this room without treating it because the management did not assure me in any way that they would treat the room for bed bugs.

When I walked into this hotel I immediately noticed how bad it stunk. On top of that my room smelt worse then anywhere in the hotel smelt like mold, and there were stains all on my bedsheets and the floors were sticky. wouldn't recommend at all.

When entering our room, it looked like it hadn't been cleaned or even vacuumed and the toiletries looked used. Lots of damage to the room as well. Around midnight our AC unit began to smoke excessively, setting off the fire alarm and waking up/alarming my children and I. When I asked to be moved to a safer room the attendant was rude and said, "It's not like it'd going to spontaneously combust" until I demanded to be moved, and then the room we ended up with didn't even have a smoke detector. The next morning the manager was extremely sweet and helpful, but both night attendants were of absolutely no help. That is the first and last time I will ever stay at that location. I lost count of how many safety and health code violations I took pictures of.

I was charged for my room 2x and have called them every day since the finalized the transaction and still have not been helped at all!! The manager has been told/texted/messaged about the situation atleast 2 times that I’ve been told. He has my phone number and I have left numerous messages and still have not received any calls back, and half the time I call, nobody answers the phone.
Seriously one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a hotel. Very unprofessional and at this point would never recommend unless your okay with being charged twice for a hotel room.

I do not expect an inexpensive motel to be perfect so I do not nitpick. I expect a motel to have friendly staff, listen to me if I have complaints and fix them, be clean, be safe and be pet friendly when it says it is pet friendly. I like a quick breakfast before I take off to ski. This motel fulfills my expectations at an affordable price for me. I was here in December and still stand by my very positive review then. I returned for two weeks of skiing in January. I will return next ski season. It is my new ski base.

I booked a 2 night stay but finished my project early. So at 7am I attempted to check out the front desk told me my extra day was non refundable. I travel for work and was shocked by this. Everyone refunds. So in essence I spent 223.00 for a 1 night stay in a run down piece of trash hotel that smells like a kennel. If my stay would have gone longer I would have left the place it is disgusting. Thier business practices are pure thievery. BEWARE DO NOT STAY HERE.
