Our family of four stayed six nights in the Lofted King Suite at the Washington School House Hotel the week after Christmas. The staff immediately made us feel welcome with their friendly and knowledgeablle attitudes upon arrival. I'm not sure how they manage, but every single employee seemed genuinely interested in making our stay perfect with such amazing attention to detail! The property was beautifully maintained and our room had every item you could ever need with luxurious bedding and heated floors in the bathroom, a spiral staircase winding up to the kid's room with 2 twin beds, and wonderful treats/gifts each night at turn down. Each morning, we enjoyed an amazing breakfast by the fireplace in the dining room before heading out for the day where we were always offered hand warmers, a ride to the ski lift, or granola bars to take with us on the slopes. We enjoyed the spa and pool, the games provided in the ski lounge, and drinks every evening. The location was exactly what we wanted...just steps from Main Street with restaurants and shops and a short walk to the Town Lift for skiing! The staff happily arranged transportation for activities like a visit to the Ice Castles and a day of snowmobiling, and they helped us when we decided last minute to rent a car which they had delivered to the hotel! We are already looking forward to going back and bringing friends and family! Thanks to Jared, Marissa, Cassandra, and Kameron for making our vacation so wonderful! The Washington School House is so much more than a hotel!

When planning a last minute family trip to Park City, I found the Washington School House Hotel right here on trip advisor. Based on the outstanding reviews of the hotel, we didn't hesitate to book.

This hotel is absolutely perfect and it all comes down to the fine details and service.
To begin, this is a very small hotel, I can't remember the exact number of rooms but I think its around 12. They are all just a little bit different and each have their own charm. We stayed in two different room types, a corner room and a two story room. Both fantastic!

Every little detail is thought of and there are all kinds of goodies that are included such as a blanket to take home, water bottles and best of all, Molton Brown bath amenities. The beds are pure heaven, luxurious bright white crisp sheets and a cozy down comforters.

Included in the room rate is an out of this world breakfast. Also included are drinks, yes even with alcohol. The kids loved the other included goodies such as smores to roast over the outdoor fire and fresh baked cookies on request. The hotel also offers afternoon Apres (meat and cheese boards) daily. Though their restaurant has set hours for breakfast, lunch and dinner, they can still whip up a few things at any hour upon request. Though we did not try the restaurant for a meal other than breakfast, the menu looked AMAZING!

We could not ask for better service. Someone was always checking on us if we were out by the pool or down in the movie room. Anything you need they will bring to you. The staff members are all amazing! Its obvious they employ the very best. Many thanks to everyone who works at the hotel!

I can't say enough about this hotel. It is definitely in the top 5 in the world for us. Highly recommended! If you are thinking about giving this property a try, don't hesitate making reservations as rooms will be gone fast!

We were very fortunate to spend Labor Day weekend in Park City and had the best stay at the Washington School House Hotel. The service is amazing- special shout out to Kameron and Jared! Fresh baked cookies by the fire at night were out favorite. The breakfast was amazing each morning. The location can't be beat, steps to so many restaurants and shops. Our room was very clean, the staff always wore masks, we felt very safe.

Special little touches that were unexpected- a complimentary fleece blanket, insulated water bottles, and even a deck of cards, so we have things now around the house to remind us of our time at the WSH. We can't wait to go back and definitely want to make this a yearly trip.

We have had the pleasure of staying at WSH several times and continue to have our very high expectations exceeded every visit! The staff makes the memorable experience as they are kind, accommodating, passionate and went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfection. The GM Matt went above and beyond with every aspect of our visit and set an exemplary example for the rest of the staff when it comes to service and taking care of the guests.

The location of this historic hotel cannot be matched as it provides easy access to the best of Park City when it comes to shops, restaurants, and bars on Main Street. Our favorite room is the Lofted King Suite since it can accommodate our two boys in the upstairs loft. The spacious rooms are beautifully decorated with each of the 12 rooms having its own distinct touches. We love the large windows and pretty views, gorgeous chandeliers, wood floors, stunning decor and luxe amenities like heated floors and turn-down service!

There are a lot of luxury resort options in Park City but none that truly compare to WSH when it comes to location, service, F&B, and accommodations. It is a hotel you stay at when you want an exclusive, high-end experience that includes luxe amenities, impeccable service and accommodations, and delicious cuisine in an intimate setting where the staff gets to know you and you’re not just another guest. We have traveled the world and keep choosing to come back to Park City because of our experiences at WSH!

We recently stayed at Washington School House with our family over 4th of July holiday in Park City. Every inch of the hotel is beautifully appointed and so charming from the idyllic rooftop pool to the guest rooms with the comfiest beds we have ever slept in.
As a guest of the hotel you are made to feel so welcome and the staff is just incredible. They went above and beyond during our stay even helping us when our car wouldn't start one morning. The chef at the hotel is amazing and the breakfast was superb. The hotel has such a wonderfully historic feel yet everything has been so tastefully updated with modern amenities. It is ideally located just a short stroll to Main Street and close to Deer Valley and Park City mountains. We absolutely loved this hotel and will have so many wonderful memories of our holiday in Park City for years to come.

We were passing through Park City on a trip East and had booked the Washington School House Hotel for one night. We ended up being “stuck” for another two nights due to a snowstorm that shut down the 80. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We were traveling with our baby and they made sure we were fed, paid attention to detail and made us feel like family. I cannot recommend the Washington School House Hotel highly enough. Five stars don’t do them justice. Thanks again to Cameron and the wonderful staff for taking such great care of us! We will be back!

If you are looking for a hotel in Park City, this is your place! My husband and I recently stayed at WSH for 5 nights. From the moment we arrived, the entire staff was incredible in taking care of all our needs. Our car was taken away to the complimentary valet, our luggage was brought to our room, and we explored the lovely property. The decor is stunning, the spaces are cozy and inviting—perfect for sitting with a glass of wine or reading a book. All drinks during our stay were included, so we never had to pay for wine or cocktails. The staff is always eager to bring you anything you’d like to drink while relaxing on a patio or sitting by the pool. This hotel is small and intimate, with only 12 rooms. Because of this, the staff really attends to all of your needs and they also get to know you personally. They take interest in you and offer suggestions on dining, hikes, and activities. Breakfast is included, cooked to order, and delicious. WSH hotel is very close to Main Street and within short walking distance to many great shops and restaurants, yet it is a very quiet and peaceful property. My husband and I have stayed at many boutique hotels, but have never experienced anything as wonderful as this. We couldn’t have asked for anything more!

The Washington School House is the perfect blend of a romantic getaway and an underground social club. The service is unmatched, the food world-class and the accommodations cozy and rich. The staff goes beyond to ensure your stay is nothing less than perfect. It was easy to book both our transportation and dinner reservations through them, although you find yourself never wanting to leave the hotel! You wake up craving their breakfast and look forward to their afternoon Aprés charcuterie spread and cocktails in the hot tub. Not to mention you end up befriending other guests and it’s an unspoken bond that you’re sharing this luxurious stay together. It feels as if you’re staying in a private residence, waking up to the cozy fireplace, beautiful architecture and serene mountain views.

The manager and staff are engaging, helpful and responsive. They’re professional, and they went over and beyond to ensure we were as comfortable as possible. The WSH is such a special place that you find yourself teetering on whether or not to rave about it or keep it a secret to yourself! Needless to say, we highly recommend this unique and elegant boutique experience.

The facility itself is wonderful. The food is outstanding. But what makes this place so, so special is the service. With only 12 rooms, they focus intensely on the needs of every guest (and in a place like Park City where you're dealing with all the equipment and logistics of skiing, you tend to need stuff). I have never seen a hotel staff so dedicated to making sure every guest has exactly what they need at all times. It was remarkable. Can't recommend it enough.

It's rare to stay at a hotel and have nothing that one would change. Beautiful, comfortable, and gracious, the lodging is supported by a staff that is genuinely charming, helpful, and accommodating. The only downside is that it's so damned pleasant being there, it's hard to break away. Definitely a destination unto itself.

While it is kid friendly, it’s small and it’s very likely there would not be as many kids, if any to hang with. It’s awesome for couples, and they do have a great gathering room on the bottom floor, but I’m not sure they’d meet many new friends their age.
