We had been anticipating this trip since we booked it last year, but had been continuously monitoring whether or not it would actually happen due to the Covid-19 situation. Wyndham was very good about keeping us posted on their policies, and even called us at home with details on how check in would be done curbside. We were told to phone when we were 15 minutes away from arriving.
The mask policy was in effect throughout the resort, and the pool was done via reservation for a specific hour. It was really too cool for the pool unless you were a kid. We left 106 degree temperatures in Zion so the cool air was welcome.
We loved our one bedroom unit #209 and got excited even without having the kids with us. It was first class furnishings with a/c and a fireplace. They did thorough sanitizing and took away things that we know would have been in the unit otherwise. The extra blankets in the hall closet were now by request, there were less pillows on the bed and none on the couch, there was no literature describing the area and policies, and no sales presentation! There was supposed to be 50% occupancy, but I would say there was much less than that. It was very quiet at the resort.
We grocery shopped at Walmart just down the road, ate at the Red Rock Junction, Five Guys, and visited the Olympic Park, where they were practicing ski jumping acrobatics and landing in the water. We went up to the shops on Main Street in downtown Park City, and drove up over the Deer Valley mountain on Guardsman Pass Road to Brighton, Solitude, Snowbird, and Alta ski areas, who just overnight got a dusting of snow. Our trip to Antelope Island state park let us see bison up close, deer, badger and a coyote. We then drove North to the Golden Spike site.
On the drive up from Zion we chose the Alpine Loop road to picnic on, at the State Park with the cave. Coming down the other side we stumbled into moving chairs and were thrilled to ride the chairlift at Sundance and had a great 2 hours in the sun with really nice temperatures and beautiful views. A hidden gem!
The huge bed was very comfortable and the central air kept us comfy.
We love the washer and dryer in the unit so we can clean the clothes from the first half of the vacation and do another load before leaving so we arrive home with a suitcase full of clean clothes and no laundry to do.
There we gas grills available near the pool and a gas fire pit near the pool area.
The $10 daily parking in the garage was the only downer. It was super convenient right outside the elevator under the rooms. We saw no one in our hallway or the elevator at any time throughout our stay, but we wore our masks anyway. The Canyon’s Village chairlift started right outside our door, all we needed was the snow.

Location couldn't be better if you're looking for a ski in/ski out resort. Resort was clean, suites were large and had everything you would need if you were looking to stay in and cook or needed to do your own laundry. Parking was extremely reasonable at only $10 a day and we loved having a fireplace in the room. Although there is no restaurant, the hotel directly out the front door is a great spot to grab dinner or cocktails.

There were only a few downsides to the stay. Checking in early was great as I have Diamond status and there was a room available. Like others mentioned in the reviews, choose a room on a high floor as you'll hear just about everything going on. The doors are heavy, so when people are waking up to leave at 4:00AM, you'll hear it. My room also faced the street and had a cement balcony unlike the ones shown in the photos. Not a big deal, but it would have been nice to be able to use it. While the bed was extremely comfortable, it was odd that there were only 2 small pillows on a kingsize bed and the duvet cover was very thin. Housekeeping was quick to bring up two blankets and extra pillows. Not a problem at all -- but something that should be noted to make for an even better experience.

Overall, this was a great experience. The staff was on top of all CDC guidelines and was happy to see them enforce them with guests.

We were very impressed with the COVID policies, curbside notice of arrival to shorten check-in, pool reservations, and mandatory mask policies throughout the facility. The pool is split into 6 sections, 2 that include hot tub access, and is reserved in 1 hour sessions with a 30 minute break in between for sanitization.
Our 1 bedroom unit was very clean, well equipped, and beautiful.
We couldn't have asked for more and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a unit with a full kitchen and great pool and hot tub.

This was my first visit to utah and Park city. We flew into salt lake which was a very easy half hour ride through the mountains. The resort is located in a cluster of other ski resorts , homes and golf courses with beautiful views all the way around of the Mountains. Just before the resort on the entrance road is a free ski lift up the mountain to another ski resort that has concerts on the lawn, with some places to eat shop , ice cream and coffee it’s definitely worth it to go up!
The resort is right off the main road and a easy 5 minute drive to park city mountain that offers a mountain coaster and all of that fun stuff. Just also a 5 minute ride is beautiful Main Street park city where there is something for everyone to shop and eat with beautiful views and history. Plenty of parking that is free until 5pm. For grocery shopping I would recommend the smiths grocery store located just up the road across from the Walmart super center.
Check in was very easy we arrived a little early and our room was ready for us. We are VIP owners and our names were on a board with balloons at the entrance of the lobby when you walked in something I’ve never seen at Wyndham it was cute. They have a new key system that is a water proof light band that you were very convenient! Parking is $10 inside of a Garage under the resort which was nice. The resort is newer and I’m over all great condition and well kept inside and out. The staff was very friendly and accommodating with all request that we needed and always followed up with a call to make sure what we needed was delivered. We had a 2 bedroom 2 bath Deluxe unit it was spacious and stocked , it was clean for the most part. Below listed are the negatives

1) the ceilings fans were covered in dust
2) the rooms are NOT equipped with DVD players which is a first for Wyndham and something I use every night when on vacation
3) the hallways needed to be vacuumed more often
4) the toilet in the small bathroom ran all night making loud running noises
5) the ventilation in the small bathroom leaked yellow water onto the top of the toilet if the shower is to hot
6) the Lamp shade in the double bed room has something yellow and dried onto it that you can only see when the light is off
7) the mattresses are not sealed with a cover just the sheet and under that is the mattress. A first for Wyndham
8) they do not give you a info packet about the rooms / resort where things are what’s supplied etc
9) the resort feels very safe but I didn’t see any security during my stay and most of the doors/ entrances and elevators don’t require your key to enter ( they have swipe spots for them) this should be used for added security.

Would definitely come back to park city in the future hopefully

Stayed here with the family on vaca from Colorado. kids loved the pool, wife loved the room and location and the staff are all really nice but we woke up twice (Saturday and Monday which is today) very early from very loud noise coming from truck lifting and dumping garbage bins at 6:30AM Saturday and 7:15AM today, wow, not good planning by hotel. you do know there are people trying to sleep past 7AM at a resort hotel dont you??? And funny thing is our room is not even facing the front where the garbage bins are..........we are so lucky.........

We're disappointed to hear that the noise level was higher than anticipated, and that this took away from your overall vacation experience. Your feedback is very valuable to us, and has been passed along to Resort Management.

Fantastic resort in good location. Clean and friendly staff. Rooms very good size. We were so happy the resort was able to open during COVID. Staff did a great job of cleaning and adding extra safety measures with sanitizer and signs. Would love to stay there again.

The housekeeping staff were outstanding on the initial and halfway cleaning of our two units during the two weeks. Throughout they were efficient and expeditious in providing extra towels, linens, and supplies as was the registration/lobby/front office staff. Everyone was friendly, courteous, and continuously shared special treats from chocolates, to popcorn, pop tarts, and daily s’mores kits. They made recommendations that proved to be outstanding trails and eating/drinking establishments. Park City free transit was always on time and free public parking lots until 4pm and then $1/hour was great. The units were spacious, well equipped for extended living and accessible to other areas/sites. The fire pits, barbecues, heated pool and hot tubs well maintained, clean and always ready. The gym was sufficient and the apartments with fire places, a/c, open balconies, and great beds and pull out amazingly comfortable. The washer/dryer was new and all appliances clean. It was an exceptional place with and the two weeks in May offered sun up to 70 degrees and snow down at 30 degrees. The weather was perfect. Maintenance from Jorge on site was also a plus if assistance was needed. This place was a big plus to all of our experiences over the years with RCI.

Our bed was terrible, finally had to go to guest services to have them to something about it. They did come and try to put some mattress covers on which helped a little. They were all very nice. Guest services told us when leaving that they had a meeting that morning and they were going to order mattress toppers for all the beds. Hopefully this really happens for the next guests. Units were clean and a good size for two people. We had a view of the pool however it was noisy because of the traffic at the pool and hot tub. We had called and requested that our room be closer to our family members room weeks before and the week of. Our rooms couldn't have been further apart on the same floor. We were cooking as a family together our meals that we ate in, this distance made it difficult. The resort is nice and there is a shuttle service that can take you to Main Street in Park City because it is quite a distance to downtown. There was a bit of pressure at the concierge desk to go to a Timeshare meeting, however not as much pressure as we had in Florida a couple of weeks before. This resort does charge $10.00 a day to park there and you are allowed one car per room. I did some calling the Waldorf across the street charges $40.00 a day. So in Park City that seems to be the norm. The fire pit was nice as well as the barbeque grill area. All in all we probably wouldn't go back, but we had some issues that could have been avoided has the bed been comfortable and our room closer to family. If that hadn't have happened we would recommend.

The Wyndham is a ski in/ski out destination. The Gondola is right outside your room and there is a shuttle to Park City transist bus to go to Park City Mountain. Of course you can ski over to PCM too. It is close to grocery and Main Street, Park City.(3 miles). The rooms are newer and kept up well. There is a rental shop on site and you can leave your skis outside and they will pick them up and store them overnight and set them back outside for you the next morning. The Wyndham is about 30 minutes from the SLC airport.

My family traveled to Wyndham Park City for the first time in late October. The proximity to golf courses, ski slopes, town and points of interest made us want to come back. We used the BBQ grill one night and found it very clean and close to our unit. The underground parking was wonderful - $10 daily was well worth it. I wish more businesses and services were open but that is the nature of travel during COVID.
