The farmhouse was delightful and we throughly enjoyed our stay. The house is even nicer in person than in the photos. We loved the deck and my kids enjoyed petting horses that were nearby. The kitchen is well stocked and very large. However I recommend stocking up on groceries before arriving as the only stores nearby are relatively small. Also, we didn’t realize the house didn’t have air conditioning, which normally would not have mattered but there was a heat wave during our stay. Still we had a great time and I would definitely stay at the farmhouse again.
We stayed at the Farmhouse and had a short drive to visit Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef, both a "must see" if you are in this area. The Farmhouse is beautifully decorated, has everything you need. The kitchen is well equiped as we cooked delicious meals during our stay. Panguitch is a fun little town only 9 miles away for groceries and a choice of restaurants. The ranch is lovely, with horses pasturing nearby and deer wandering by during dawn and dusk hours. The Sevier River runs through the property and the lake has a most tranquil setting for daydreaming. Jan and Jerry are the consummate hosts checking on our well being every day and engaging in wonderful discussions about the area and their active lives! We would highly recommend a stay at Cottonwood Meadow Lodge.
Everything about this place was great. Will definitely be staying here again if I return to the Bryce Canyon area. Even all the animals on the farm are friendly. I highly recommend staying here if going to Bryce (its a little far if going to Zion and trying to get up early for hikes)
What’s a beautiful place to stay. Great hosts, lovely farmhouse, well equipped, amazing scenery. The Cottonwood Meadow Lodge has easy access to Bryce and surrounding area. The Farmhouse is located next to the quiet Sevier river. The rooms, furniture and beds all fit well in this relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. It was a great place for our whole family and we would highly recommended the Cottonwood Meadow Lodge!
We chose Cottonwood Meadow Lodge as a different type of lodging on our latest trip out west. We stayed at the bunkhouse which has 1 bedroom, a living room/kitchen/dining area and 1 full bath. I think this is best served for only 2 people. It also has a beautiful front porch. But what it really has is quiet. We sat out in the evening and remarked at how quiet it was. Beautiful breeze and plenty of places to walk especially around the pond. Jan and Jerry were very inviting and engaging hosts. Jan had even baked us a bread which she gave us upon arrival. We would go back but maybe stay in one of the larger cabins.
Stayed in the Bunk House for 3 nights with my husband and 7 year old son. Perfect in every way. Grounds were beautiful, Bunk House was comfortable and had everything you could need. I am picky about 2 things when I travel... have good coffee and good eggs (we have chickens and are use to fresh eggs.) The Bunk house greeted us with fresh coffee beans and fresh eggs in our fridge. Jan, Jerry and Jesse and cats were all delightful, gracious hosts. The location was excellent to Bryce. A truly wonderful stay!
Stayed in the Bunkhouse for five nights and could have stayed longer. Spotlessly clean, spacious, ideal for a couple. Everything in working order. Idyllic property, gorgeous views, and calm surroundings. Very congenial owners, always available. Jen even brought over home-made pumpkin bread and other of her baked goods. Good value. Highly recommended.
We stayed in the Barn which was small but comfortable for two people. The property provides a peaceful getaway. Kitchen is equipped w 4 burner stove, full size microwave, toaster, fridge and coffee maker; we made 2 breakfasts while enjoying the country view from the kitchen window complete with horses and cows grazing in nearby field. The porch has a loveseat and a large wooden picnic table for outdoor dining. Be warned that the shower is cramped and the TV small. Unfortunately there was no one to greet us upon arrival and we had trouble locating our cabin. A sign on the other side of the Barn would have helped us find it. Once the hosts arrived we were greeted with treats and coffee beans which we ground for fresh coffee the following morning. A basket of fresh eggs was also provided. I would definitely stay here again. …
Stayed at Cottonwood Meadows while visiting Zion and Bryce National Parks. What a great little gem of a place! We rented the Log Cabin which was perfect for a couple. We loved spending the evenings on the porch just looking out over the meadow area. One of the resident cats would come and visit in the evening which was great. The owners stopped over to check on us and bring zucchini bread and we got to meet their puppy Jesse. Very relaxing and laid back. Town is less than 10 minutes away....groceries, pizza and Cowboy Cafe were very convenient. I would highly recommend a stay here and hope to be back myself some day.
Perfect is an understatement. Having the owner swing by the best welcome a new guest could ask for. The interior spacious but compact. Modern but rustic with John Wayne grit. Sunset on the back porch for dinner and sunrise on the front with coffe. Friendly farm animals and at night the galaxy at your fingertips. Stunning on a day off!
