Pretty nice property, with warm cookies in the lobby in the evening. There is a small c-store off the lobby with snacks, drinks, ice cream, sundries, etc.
I was quite surprised that the room had no fridge or microwave, but they did have a large, hot breakfast for guests, including those great cinnamon rolls.
The housekeeping was spotty, as our room was left with no facial tissue, no cups of any kind, and only half a roll of toilet paper.
ADA parking was very minimal for the size of the property.
For the price, rather a disappointment.

How nice to pull into a lovely hotel after a long day on the road! Even amidst remodeling, things were still geared towards guest comfort. Automatic front doors, covered portico, cookies in the lobby, yay :-). Helpful Kirsten at the front desk quickly checked me into a ground level pet friendly room as requested, advising me of breakfast hours, etc. Room was standard king single w/in-room Keurig, fridge/micro. Walk in shower. Free wifi with ample signal & easily accessible bedside outlets including USB ports. Aside from a little noise from the interstate, I slept well on super comfortable bed with nice linens & fat, fluffy pillows. Parking lot was well lit & I felt very safe walking my dog on the grassy side lawn. Continental breakfast was tended by cheerful Maria who kept items filled & refilled, tables wiped down between guests. They offered REAL oatmeal w/raisins, walnuts, etc. rather than the instant packets so often found at some HIE properties. Kudos for excellent customer service! Sweet smiling Ixchel quickly printed off my receipt at checkout & I left feeling restored & refreshed. Highly recommend & would happily stay here again.

Noisy

This hotel sits next to the highway. We asked for a room on the opposite side of the highway and it was still noisy. The room was large with 2. Beds but no where to set things. Fold up luggage rack,, a small round table with 2 straight back chairs. Space on the table was taken up with a Keurig coffee maker, an ice chest and tray.
The night stand between the beds was a good size. We didn’t find the beds to be comfortable but they didn’t sag either. The head boards and chair backs are badly worn and should be replaced. The room is not conducive for business people who have to use their laptops and need a desk for writing. The lighting was on the dim side. Bathroom was a good size.

We stayed in room 117. You can hear every step that a person makes from the room above. You can also hear the hum of the heater from the room above. The closet to hang your coat is at the far back corner of the room which is just awkward. There is also a high frequency sound coming from outside I think. If you stay here request a top floor facing away from the highway because the sound goes right through the cheap single pane windows. I would not recommend staying here

This hotel is located on the freeway so be aware of that if/when you book, ask for a room on the back side facing the mountains. The ladies at the front desk were great, welcoming and helpful and accommodated several requests we had easily. Room was clean and comfy, facing the mountains with a great view of them. Breakfast was a typical but very good with all the HIE menu. There is a restaurant across the parking lot that is decent if you don't want to venture out. Warm cookies in the evening. Good overall experience here.

This was a terrible experience after driving for 8 hours. We have not been to a Holiday Inn for a few years. Were looking forward to the stay because we always had experiences at the Holiday Inns. This hotel was disgusting. They gave us a handicapped room which we tried to change. The only room available was a room right next to the noisy highway which we refused. The halls were dark and dirty. The bed was sunken in from much use. The side chair was worn through on the arms. There was a burn hole in the curtains. The wallpaper in the shower was coming off. There was rust on the chair in the shower. There were no toiletries other than a used body lotion 1/2 full. The Kleenex container was empty. We paid 30$ more for this Holiday Inn than a budget hotel with much better accommodations the next day. We will never stay at a Holiday Inn again

The Freeway noise is very bad. The room
looks clean but is dated and worn.
I would not stay at this property again.
This property is on the low end of what
I would expect from a holiday inn, not
worth the amount of money they ask
for a room. This is what i would expect
to see at a comfort inn.

The week started out very questionable. High school kids were staying here and the adults with them were not doing the best job in keeping them quiet in the halls late at night. Hotel staff had to make regular trips through the halls (even at early hours) to try to calm things down. The kids left...things got better. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Hotel close to many nice restaurants.

On our way home from Oregon we booked and arrived at this hotel just after dark. The hotel did not appear to be that crowded but despite asking for a room close to the elevator we were placed near the end of the hall. In the room I sat on the corner of the bed causing the mattress to flip up from the other corner causing me to fall to the floor. Mattress was not comfortable. Worst of all there was an extremely bright light on the pole outside out room which was impossible to block out. I ended up having to use a coat hanger to clip the curtains together as best I could. There was still four inches of bright light shining under curtain reflecting off the window sill and the AC unit. I ended up having to shove two pillows into the window to block out the rest of the brightness. We usually try to stay at Holiday Inn Express hotels when traveling, but this was a no go. Terrible. I plan to complain to corporate as well. Avoid this location at all costs.

The room at the hotel was nice-clean and the bedding was comfortable. But there are some drawbacks. Although there is a restaurant across the street, it was not highly recommended by the staff. The area is not the best. And there were very few available television stations. Most Holiday Inns that I have frequented rate higher than this one.

I believe the breakfast bar hours are 6:30 to 9:30 daily. You could call the direct line 801-392-5000 to check. They had a very nice breakfast with lots of choices.

Yes :) pets are allowed in designated rooms with a $25.00 fee. The best advice is to call the hotel directly to be sure a pet friendly room is available :) 8013925000
