A few steps from Historic 25th Street eateries and attractions, our hotel is situated in downtown Ogden near Union Station and Lindquist Field. The airport and Weber State University are less than five miles away. Hit the trails with your choice of plenty of trail heads within 10 minutes or drive up Mt. Ogden for skiing and more.
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
I had a great experience at this location. The hotel still has that new look and feel so everything looked nice and worked great. Staff was very attentive, giving me a friendly greeting every time i passed through the lobby. The free breakfast was also excellent with a wide variety of choices: pancakes/waffles, eggs and sausage, fresh fruit, muffins, bread/bagels, etc. Easy access from the main road with plenty of parking. A+ experience, I will definitely be a return customer next time business brings me to Ogden.

We always travel with our dogs and scrambled last minute to find a pet friendly room. We were lucky and found Tru by Hilton. When I called to book, I was told that all rooms at all Hiltons are now pet friendly as of June 2022. The pet fee is $75 for up to 2 dogs. I had a great impression walking in, the lobby was bright, clean, and modern. The hotel is newer. There was a pool table to the left of the check in desk. There is a nice clean gym. There's a salt water indoor pool that we used which was very clean, the hot tub was clean and relaxing after a 10 hour drive. They sell ice cream- Haagendaz and Ben and Jerry"s and snacks in the lobby. The room was very clean and had USB plug ins on the night stand and desk. Lots of lighting. The shower was spacious. They had shampoo, shower gel, and lotion dispensers in the bathroom. The only cons were that the room was a little on the small side, the walking space around the bed and desk was really tight due to the A/C. There was a small fridge with no freezer and no microwave, you could use the microwave in the lobby area however. We will be sticking with Hilton from now on since it is always a challenge to find a pet friendly room and they are usually not the cleanest at other hotels.

Hotel is just off the main strip of historical Ogden. We didn't even know about Ogden and just wanted a place to get off the Interstate for the night. Highly recommend this hotel and area since there are numerous restaurants and shops within walking distance. Makes for an enjoyable evening after a day of driving. The hotel felt new and modern. Room was spacious and well designed. Bed was comfortable. Our room faced the busy road but we couldn't hear any traffic noise. The gym was excellent. Lots of machines. There is a pool and a hot tub but it was busy with families so we didn't check it out. A lot of lounge and recreation space so you don't need to sit in your room all night. Also tables so you can get takeout or delivery and sit to eat in the main floor area. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of options and seating. Overall, a pricier option for an single night stay but the facilities, location and breakfast made it worth it.

I’m giving my trip a 5 considering the fact that I spent 10 nights at this hotel and only got 5 nights of decent in interrupted sleep. The first 2 nights were good but the next 3 nights were terrible. A minor league baseball team had checked into the hotel and had kept me up past 3 A.M. for 3 nights. There was also a hockey team that had checked in right around the same time and the noise was amplified. The following day I had asked the front desk to change rooms and they were more than accommodating. I moved from the 3rd floor to the 2nd where I was assured that I’d be away from the noise. The room was dirty when I had gotten there. I literally had to go downstairs to the gym and bring a pack of Lysol wipes back up to clean the surfaces, lamps, and shower floor. I’m not a clean freak but this was way too much. The first night was good but the following night the guests in the room next door to me were yelling and kicking the wall that my headboard was against. I called down to the front desk and reported it but the noise continued. I went next door and confronted them and then went down stairs and asked to speak to the manager when she got in. I ended up going to bed at 3:30 A.M. that night. The next night I thought I was going to get a good nights rest until 12 A.M. the same neighbors started yelling at each other again. I didn’t even hesitate to go straight down stairs and ask to change rooms which again was done immediately. I then moved to the 4th floor where the remaining 2 days were restful. I was in Ogden taking an extremely important certification class for my industry so getting rest was the most important part of my trip. Not to mention the fact that the class cost $6k and I had spent close to $10k on the trip in total. The manager never contacted me either. I guess I wasn’t on her priority list. So 50% bad sleep + having to change rooms 3 times + getting a dirty room + the manager never calling me back should have ranked this stay as a 1 but the only redeeming quality was the staff. Every staff member I dealt with was beyond helpful. If I had simply gotten a call from the manager at any point of my stay I could have easily over looked everything else that had happened and ranked this stay a 10. That’s how impressed I was by the front desk staff (both night and day) of this hotel. My only suggestion is maybe stay on the Homes2 side. I’m not sure but I have a feeling that that’s the better side.

Efrainbarajas1988- Let me begin by apologizing about your stay. I understand how hard it is to sleep when there is noise all around you. I would also like to apologize for not reaching out to you during your stay, there is no excuse I can give you to would justify me not making sure you were taken care. I would like to say thank you for the praise you gave the staff you did interact with, I am so glad to see that they were happy to help you every time something came up. I hope you did well on certification class. Thank you for your time on the phone!

We had two rooms here on our way from SLC Airport to Grand Teton National Park. The lobby was absolutely beautiful and the workers at the front deck were very helpful!
The rooms themselves are simple and do not have a lot of space for unpacking, but that was expected. They were clean and I love the bottles that are used for the shampoo and soap.
The complimentary breakfast was a big hit with our group but it did not start until later on the weekend than we would have preferred.
As Hilton Diamond members, this hotel met the standard and would be a great place for a night!

Through my 22 year military career and as a Hilton Honors member I’ve never had an experience like the one 22 Aug 2022… no room available with a confirmed reservation. Flights were delayed and I called the hotel earlier to verify my reservation and letting them know I would not be arriving until 2am….got the ok. I arrived Salt Lake City @1:30am took an Uber arrived around 2:30am and they overbooked/oversold so had no room. Of course was not what I expected after a long businesss trip of travel. After several attempts front desk calling hotels finally got “walked” to a Comfort Inn. Very disappointed as a loyal Hilton member and client for over 30 years. Still waiting on a refund or making this right.

It’s really new and shiny- that’s nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. Great location and fair price. There is a small refrigerator, a hairdryer and an iron (do people still use irons in hotels?). I don’t drink coffee but there is no in room coffee maker. Disliked the noise - from the road, from the occasional trains, from the hall (children running and yelling); the sound insulation budget was clearly lacking. The “bulk” toiletries were a miss. You either squeeze the bottle too much or too little and washing my face with the lemon sugar soap was icky. Breakfast was served too late for my needs.

The hotel is located close to an apparent bacon rendering plant and there is a strong bad smell outside the hotel (apparently not everyday but often). The hotel argued with me about the pet fee and it took about an hour and multiple phone calls to reverse a fee overcharge of $25 - annoying $75 instead of $50 for one night. If room is street side, traffic can be extremely loud even with noise canceling headphones on when trying to sleep.

We only stayed one night here, but it was a nice stay. There was no early check-in but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Kudos for the nice pillows. They had a wonderful outdoor seating area. The breakfast was a full breakfast with even breakfast sandwiches made up for you. There were several restaurants within walking distance. There were several homeless groups in the area, so use caution and lock everything up. Front desk personnel were friendly. I did say good morning to a couple of maids, but got no response, not even a smile.

My family loved everything about this place. It was very clean. The location to 3 ski resorts is why we chose this. The hotel is close to everything downtown and had good restaurant within walking distance. My son loved the pool table! The exercise room was the best I have ever seen! My kids loved the pool and they have a huge area that to watch TV or play games in. They had a lot of fun games (actually good ones like the Ticket to Ride game- my kids favorite, and they all had all the pieces). They had something warm for breakfast every morning. Not a ton of choices but one of the best we have seen since COVID- Not just a bag of food, actual buffet style choices. We had such a great time and loved the big game room area so much we will be staying at another Tru hotel next month! For the price you just can't go wrong!
