Detailed Reviews
Hotel's Favorite
Although on the somewhat pricey side for a city like Ogden, this hotel holds its own in many respects. Check in was efficient. Free parking (sizeable lot). The fitness center is well stocked with a lot of equipment and physio machines. Breakfast is very nice. The room is expansive, and includes both indoor and outdoor tables. Notably, the facility is directly across the street from Lindquist Field making it a 2-minute walk to a professional Single A baseball game.
Like the entire hotel, this place feels very new, as all of the rooms are updated. Loved the bathroom including decent towels. My king bed was very comfortable.
Can't wait to return to Ogden to stay here again.

Hotel building is shared with TRU. Home2Suites are on the Lincoln Ave. side and TRU is on the 24th Street side. Even numbered rooms are on the street sides. Odd numbered rooms are on the parking lot side. That should be a consideration if you're a light sleeper. Also, even though 25th Street is a block away, even numbered rooms on the Lincoln Ave. side will hear late night party goers on Friday and Saturday nights.
The complimentary breakfast is at 6:00 a.m. Mon. through Fri. Sat. & Sun. breakfast doesn't begin until 7:00 a.m. That is a major drawback for guests who must be up early to go to work or onward travel.
Suites are a nice, roomy size. Shower wash, shampoo and conditioner bottles are mounted on shower wall. Our suite had only one small face bar of soap. Luckily, we brought our own bar soap for hand washing.
The parking lot had plenty of free parking but you can only see your vehicle m from your room if you are in an odd numbered suite.
Slackwater Restaurant is directly across Lincoln Ave. They specialize in artisan pizza.

I reserved a room through Hilton HHonors weeks prior to my stay asking for a high floor location on the quiet side of the building; we were given a first floor street side room that was as loud as a truck stop.
I questioned the front desk clerk and was told the hotel assigns rooms in the morning so I have to believe we we’re ignored by management.
Nice building and room but the management needs to be reminded to take care of guests.

This hotel was excellent. It appears to be fairly new. Our room had a refrigerator, microwave and oven with all the utensils and plates etc. you could need. The staff was super friendly and helpful with dinner recommendations. I also used the exercise room which had lots of equipment and which I had all to myself. There is even a firepit outside.
The hotel is located one block from the main street in town where most of the eateries are located which is very convenient. I will stay here again.

After a fast and friendly check-in, we went to our spacious, modern, well-lit room. It included a kitchenette with an almost full-sized refrigerator and freezer, a microwave, sink, and dishwasher. The room was immaculate and there was plenty of storage space. The beds and sofa were comfortable. The heat/AC worked well and was quiet. The disappointment was the cramped bathroom that didn't even provide sufficient places to hang towels. It was also poorly lit for putting on makeup. We had excellent friendly service from everyone. Breakfast was overcooked processed omelets, bagels, and some fruit.

I booked this hotel because it claimed it had a kitchen, my husband and I like to make some simple meals while away skiing and most home suite hotels that have kitchens/ one bedroom apartments have cooking facilities. Not this place. Their idea of a kitchen is a fridge and a microwave, which most basic hotels offer. The dishes were dirty and needed to be washed, the one knife they had was rusty and unusable, and they had no pots for the induction cooktop they said we could borrow. So basically a dirty place without a functioning kitchen. If you are looking for a place with a kitchen try Hyatt House, Residence Inn or Townplace Suites. Any other home stay hotel will be better than this.
An update to this review. As I was checking out this morning, the staff was having a meeting in the breakfast area where they were reading reviews that had been posted by customers. They were openly mocking the reviews that had been written by guests, mostly valid complaints about the lack of kitchen facilities and the poor quality breakfast. If they want to behave like that they should do it where guests can’t hear them.

Was charged $60.00 after checkout for a "stain" on a blanket. No call, no email, no explanation until I called to inquire about the charge. This is poor customer service, and if there was a "stain" this is normal wear and tear for paying $500 for 3 nights. Unacceptable practices.

Hotel is very nice, clean, and modern. Room and bed are comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great restaurant Slackwater is across the street. Property is not very close to the interstate if that is important to you. BUT, the pet fee is $75 for ONE night. This is a deal-killer for us. Usually, the pet fee elsewhere is $15 - $25. I don't know if this is the fee at all Home2 Suites but I will be sure to find out before booking at one of their properties in the future.

This is a poorly executed hotel idea by Hilton having Home2Suites share a building with Tru, another downscale accommodation. There is only one front desk. The hotel was full everyday and was crowded with guests who seemed indifferent to Covid protocols posted in elevators, hallways and public areas.
Our room was clean and comfortable. The maids on our floor were not wearing masks or were wearing them around their chins. We excused ourselves from daily maid service.
Breakfast was a sad attempt to offer reheated stale egg & ham sandwiches with no yogurts, juices, milk, and only slices of bread to toast. There were oranges and bananas. We skipped two additional days because it was the same.
The location is good, parking adequate, WiFi strong and staff friendly.

Booked and paid via Booking but the hotel failed to run their payment and insisted on charging me directly. Even a call from Booking to them failed to resolve the issue as the front desk kept insisting that I owed them money. 30 minutes later the front desk ran the payment card that Booking had originally provided and it worked; of course.
Rooms are as pictured and it's a nicely modern chain hotel. Kitchenette was stocked with clean dishes.
