Friendly staff, clean room, no issues at all, hot breakfast. Would stay here again for sure! Thank you Sierra, and other staff members who made us welcome and comfortable! Good value for the money. We asked for a third floor room and we got a cart for our our luggage and the elevator was a short distance from the lobby. It worked our very well. Easy on and off from I-15. Beautiful mountains close by, as well as food options.

Even though this hotel is right off the freeway, there is zero road noise. Overall the place was very quiet, and very clean as well. Check in was very fast. The hotel offered a bag breakfast (due to Covid restrictions), but I did not partake.
I appreciated the desk and chair to sit and complete some work while in the room.
Would definitely stay here again.

A potentially good hotel if management did a better job.
Cons:
- Upon arrival on Aug. 7 2024 at about 07:30 pm, we had to wait for about 30 minutes to get our booked room because of a long queue. I don't blame the lady at the front desk doing her best, but the hotel management for understaffing
- When we booked, we asked for a quiet room, but the room we got (no 225) was on the highway side, and was poorly insulated. We could also hear every step of the guests on the room in the floor above. This must be a cheap construction without enough floor insulation. I didn't sleep well the first night because of that.
- Another issue was the absence of housekeeping. We stayed 2 nights and when returning to our room on the second evening, our beds had not been made and the trash cans hadn't been emptied. I had to ask for dry towels and extra toiletries. The lady at the reception told me that this was normal, and that housekeeping only comes after 3 days. Not replacing sheets is OK but I'm not sure the lady understood that we didn't get housekeeping at all, which might be a mistake.
- Last, the breakfast was disappointing comparing to Comfort Inn in Twin Falls / Jerome Idaho. There was less choice. Some items like Cinnamon Rolls or bananas were not replenished at 8:30, and at 9:00 access to the food area was abruptly closed without prior warning. Not very customer friendly. My wife even got temporarily locked that part of the breakfast room while she waited for a last waffle to be ready. I also blame management for this.
Pros:
- Comfortable bed and well equipped room (fridge, safe, microwave)
- Quite silent air conditioning
- Cheap self-service laundry
- Well appreciated ice water with lemon, and coffee available the whole day long
- Very pleasant pool and spa area, with towels provided.
I would have added one more star if this hotel made efforts to reduce plastic waste. Not only having breakfast is more pleasant with ceramic plates and cups, metal silverware and glass glasses, but also plastic waste takes hundreds of years to decompose, releasing nanoparticles of plastics in the environment. Such particles are toxic for the whole foodchain, including for us humans.
Many hotels are already committed to reducing plastic waste, especially in Europe. This hotel could participate to this effort for the sake of future generations.

Checking into this hotel was like walking into a comedy sketch—just without the laughs. The front desk clerk looked more baffled than a cat in a dog park. When my grandma tried to pay for my week-long stay over the phone, you’d think we were attempting a bank heist!
Apparently, a minor error on a credit card authorization form is the hotel equivalent of pulling a fire alarm—suddenly, everyone’s on high alert! My valid ID with current address (from a much nicer part of Layton, which is ironic) and the fact that I've lived in Utah basically my entire life seemed to evaporate faster than her confidence when she mentioned dropping out of basic training after an unfortunate incident shooting herself in the foot. She even shared stories with the guy in line about logging book “adjustments” during her days as a big rig driver. Big yikes for someone handling Credit Card Authorization forms...
Instead of a warm welcome, I got snide remarks about my family’s card potentially declining—a bit odd, considering the same card has been used just fine at other family hotel reservations around town. Holiday Inn Express and La Quinta took our payment for week-long stays and deposits without a hitch! So, if you enjoy a side of suspicion with your check-in, this is your place. Otherwise, save yourself the hassle and find a spot that values smooth arrivals over drama.
Signed - a tired industry pro just looking for a quiet spot to work for the week. After a 350 mile ride up and down the Denver Rio Grand Western Rail trail (its awesome, it runs right through my home town of layton LOL,) this was not the treatment I was hoping for.
PS: We have no problem, filling out CCAs, as that is standard for any entity to do when paying for an individuals room, whether that be the family or their employer, we have done dozens without any issue. But for some reason once I stepped foot into my hometown and current residence (well, several miles west of current residence) it becomes it becomes an issue. She changed the goalpost constantly on my grandmother, then when she inevitably needed helped she gives me the boot for my grandma sending the photos for me to submit. This seemed like a clear case of discrimination, and it did from the beginning. I guess that's what I get for trying to bring my work/gaming laptop and high end e bike into the comfort inn, where they wouldn't know hospitality or anything of quality if it shot them in the foot.

Barbara Hodson was the Assistant General Manager during my stay. She provided such good customer service that I am convinced this hotel does as well as it does because she is the one running it!
Aaron provided great breakfast amenities. Sierra provided great service at the front desk during the day and Alex provided great service at the front desk in the evenings. Lillian did a wonderful job of ensuring that the housekeeping staff resolved any issue I had with my room.
Great place to stay!

Your basic Comfort Inn, with standard breakfast, however with these caveates: it is ocated outside of the city...most likely serving visitors to the air force base. A Whataburger is located across the street, but there aren't other choices without driving a good distance. The hotel needs maintenance and repairs, with struggling noisy a/c units and hallway vending machines, with flickering and/or burned out lighting. Carpeting is worn and corners/doorframes are notably scuffed of their finish from abuse. However the hotel is kept clean.
Major issue for those expecting to rest and relax in their rooms: the tv equipment is ancient and small when compared to the competition and newer Comfort Inn properties. Further, the local cable service is totally inadequate. We couldn't find standard network program channels. The channel directory did not correlate to the broadcasts. This would be a simple fix if the owner or management cared.
It is clear that this hotel isn't up to corporate standards. Nonetheless, it offers good value.

Our family of 6 stayed here July 16, 2020 in a lovely 2-room suite with two queen beds, a pullout sofa, and rollaway. There was PLENTY of room and the hotel was very clean. Beds were comfortable, and there was a climate unit in each room. We would certainly stay here again.

Upon arrival the night clerk Lisa was so pleasant. She inquired as to what we were traveling for as we reside in Oregon. I explained we had just dropped our daughter off in Phoenix for her first year of college. She could see that I was a bit emotional and asked if she could give me a hug. Such a kind gesture. The hotel was clean and the room we booked was very spacious and the price was reasonable. Would definitely stay here again.
