Nicole was our host at Riverside and she was amazing. Once she knew our reason for our weeks stay and what we planned on doing she suggested other destinations that turned out better then the ones planned. We have a toy hauler and two motorcycles with us and four adults. The gravel pull through spots are so nice and the shower rooms clean and well maintained. One of the best RV parks ever and a great location if you want to go to several National Parks. Plus the State Parks around the area are really spectacular also. If we are ever back in this area would definitely stay here again!
Nicole was the reservation and camp host. It was real stormy while traveling to the park and she called me to make sure we were ok and to see if we needed anything. Super great camp hosts also. Nice pull through gravel sites with hook ups. The river access sites had no hookups so we did not stay there. Good thing, because of all the rain , the mosquitos were plentiful. I have many bites. No fault of the park though. Hatch is just a bike ride away and is a nice small town to investigate. The restaurant at the rv park was closed and the stream was too muddy for fishing because of the rain.
This property really has the potential to be a fantastic destination. However with the management personnel in place at this time, Myself and the approximate 20 other people in our group will never return due to different conflicts with these managers. The managers, Dar and Tish have no business running a place like this. For starters, my wife and I are retired and in our 60's, and both of us have physical handicaps. That didn't matter to Dar. We were taking too long unloading our luggage and he wanted us to move immediately. We got unloaded and parked exactly where Dar instructed me to. Over the course of the next two days, I was forced to move my truck four times simply because one manager can't communicate with the others. I finally ended up putting my truck, complete with it's handicap plates, in a muddy field approximately 500 yards from our room. Although they refer to this place as a hotel, its nothing more than an overpriced cabin room. They don't service the rooms at all. No housekeeping, no fresh towels, and no toilet paper. I'l be in touch with the property owners as well as the ADA compliance officials, these people need to learn the laws if they plan to be in the hospitality industry.…
The camp hosts (husband and wife) are some of the nicest people I've met on my trip. I had great conversations with both, and they went out of their way to make my stay as good as possible. Additionally, the bathroom was clean, the shower pressure was perfect, the campsites are tidy, and the whole place is just charming and welcoming. If you're coming through Hatch, stay here!!!
Great motel on the way to Bryce. Staff was very nice. Rooms were clean and we loved the decor. Grab and go breakfast. Bummed we couldn't enjoy a fire, but was not permitted due to fire hazard conditions. Clean laundry facilities available. Use of recreation room and playground etc down at camp ground.
