The hotel room I got was $74.00 "plus tax" when checking in at the front desk. When it came to swipe my card the total was $108. My instinct was to run away but I was tired and just said that's a lot of tax and swiped anyways. The front desk guy admitted it was.
When I walked into the room it was admittedly very nice. Had a kitchen stocked with dinnerware. A full size fridge. I was impressed. I was just a little annoyed it was advertised or quoted at 74 when I had to pay $34 in "taxes."
Turns out that the extra funds were a security deposit in case there was damage. The hotel ended up being around $83. I was very happy with the stay and amenities. Very impressed, ESPECIALLY at that price point. They blow every other hotel in that range out of the park. I just wish the guy at the front desk explained that to me so I wouldn't have been irritated and felt like I was scammed at first.
I highly recommend staying here. For what you pay, it feels like such an amazing deal. It would be rated 5/5 had it not been for that little miscommunication.

First time staying at one of these. Extremely impressed with how clean, well equipped, spacious and comfortable it was. Stayed for 6 nights and the breakfast was good with a wide variety of items including fresh cut fruits. Two thumbs up to Gina at the front desk for being very helpful.
The only thing that I was disappointed was the fact that they charge $75 per pet for every week you stay which I think is a bit high for many who have to work from out of town for extended periods of time and have to bring their furry best friends.

I stayed here with my family for couple of weeks. This hotel was excellent and reception team was cordial. Rooms were clean and proper room service was done on a regular basis. Morning breakfast was complementary and it was great. Overall a good and pleasant experience staying here.

When I booked this hotel on the IHG app, there was a promotional buy two nights get one free. That’s pretty straight forward right? At least I thought so. When I was checking in with Alex, I asked him about the rate, and he confirmed it was buying two nights at the rate, and the third night would be no charge. Before I checked out, I looked at the app, reflecting three nights at $66.
I realized that it was not buying two nights and get one free. I called the front desk and spoke with John, and he did not understand the rate and explained to me the regular rate was $99 per night. I was even more confused. I called IHG for assistance, and they transferred me back to the front desk. I decided to stop by the desk, and John advised me that he didn't know, and I was the first guest he saw with the promotion and that I am ”technically” getting a third night for free, but I am paying for it... I figured the rate works is a discount off the nightly rate for booking for a minimum of three nights, not the third night for free as advertised.
In addition, to the misleading rate, Alex was customer service friendly. When I checked in, I was not acknowledged as a platinum member. It was on a dry board when I walked in, but the hospitality was not there. Josh was excellent but had a sloppy appearance and not knowledgeable about the rate that I booked. The room was decent, but there were sockets not working and light bulbs out in the room.
I travel to Dallas weekly for business, and I will not recommend this property, nor will I stay here again. There are other properties in the area that I have visited that have better customer service. In the end, that makes a difference in my stay. I will stay at the Staybridge at the Colony much better service and not far from this location, and they honor their rates and better customer service from their staff TJ and Sandra made me feel welcome, unlike John and Alex..

I would never stay at this property. The housekeeping service is not available and the place is dirty all the time. Plus when you walk up to the front office and ask for basic room cleaning to be done, they blatantly say it is a weekly service and then stomp off shaking their hands in the air. The hotel also smells all the time and it is sorry in common areas also

Business trip so used to American hotels of all standards. But this was utter sh1111te. Room not cleaned in over 10 days. Noisy AC that didn’t really work. Bath didn’t drain and no shower pressure. Food that I wouldn’t even give to my dogs. Please see the mould on the coffee machine. Gym had all the machines broke and catches missing of the larger equipment so couldn’t use them safely.
Hotel staff didn’t care about anything and did very little to resolve anything.

Check out was extremely difficult and the guy at the front desk had terrible customer service. After dealing with him for 20 minutes trying to get my reservation figured out we got to our room and when my daughter opened the room and went in, there was a man laying in bed in the dark. We had to go back down and get a new room. This was super inconvenient for us in many ways especially considering I had a sleeping toddler in my arms as well as luggage.

Fantastic location. Very hospitable staff. Loved the cleanliness, breakfast and social hour options. All rooms are big suites and well furnished. I didn’t know they offered daily rates and not just extended stay rates. I would highly recommend this hotel to any business or leisure traveler.

Travelling to US for the 1st time and I have started feeling like home. The place is awesome and ambiance is very beautiful. Kudos to Robert who makes you feel so comfortable with his friendly nature.He takes care of you very well and I am happy that I have got a good company with him. The people are very friendly and the facilities are too good. Natalia the front desk was very much polite and friendly. I am sure I am gonna enjoy my time here a lot.

I think they offer the daily “make the bed and change the towels” but the real deep cleaning only happens on the weekends.
The hotel does not have shuttle but not sure if they provide to Ford Center. I have only seen then providing shuttle within the plano area.
