Detailed Reviews
My friend & I stayed there for a weekend to attend some events in Fort Worth & Dallas, & the location was perfect, seemed to be right in between both cities. First & foremost the customer service at the front desk was great, all employees were very friendly! The breakfast was decent, had a good amount of options. The reason for my average rating is because for a Marriott brand, this hotel didn't measure up to the Marriott standard, in my opinion. I'm thinking & hoping maybe it was recently bought out from another hotel chain & they just aren't done updating yet. The lobby area was nice & seemed a bit updated. But the rest of the hotel needs some major updating. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling of our room, the sink had cracks in it, the body wash in the shower was not attached to the wall like the shampoo & conditioner was, it appeared to have fallen off, but wasn't put back on, it was just sitting on the grab bar in the shower. Not a huge deal as it's still useable, but something like that should be put back on before the next guest is assigned to that room. One of the folded towels hanging up in the bathroom was dirty, we just didn't use it & put it on the floor, the rest of the towels were fine. There were some dirty spots on the walls in the hall by the bathroom, they're almost eye level, so something housekeeping should be able to see & wipe off. There was no hair dryer in the room we had to go the front desk to ask for one, which was odd. I haven't stayed in any hotel that hadn't had a hair dryer in the room. The AC was nice & cold, but was pretty noisy. The first night it was really loud, & kept me awake a lot all night, then the noise tapered off a bit, as long as we kept it at a pretty cold temperature & I was able to sleep the other 2 nights, but it was still a lot noisier than hotel AC's usually are. This hotel just needs major updating all around. It wasn't a bad stay, & I'm not too picky when it comes to hotels, but it needs quite a bit of standard maintenance & updating.

Stayed here for a competition that was held in downtown Ft. Worth. MUCH cheaper than the downtown hotels! About a 15 minute drive to get there. Staff at the hotel was very helpful and accommodating, especially Melissa at the front desk. There are several restaurants nearby (not really walking distance) and many fast food locations. Will definitely stay here again when in this area.

Nice clean hotel. EXCELLENT water pressure and that’s hard to find at hotels in this area. Mattresses are cheap & hard! Outdated decor. Cold AC though. Bring your own water/drinks $4 a water! Small flat screen TV in room. Overall only complaint was beds. Expected better for the Marriott.

Front desk manager Melissa very professional and just so very nice. Really made me feel like i was at my own home. Very bright and shiny gold star for her. The rest of the staff were very professional and courteous and made my stay there the very best hotel experience ive ever had.. Rooms were magnificent comfortable the best rooms I've ever stayed in all around 5 stars for the staff and their accommodations. However the owner of these this particular Hotel the Fairfield Inn Fossil Creek was very rude very hateful and very racist in my in my opinion I was asked to leave without any reason given to me whatsoever after I'd been there for several days never had a problem receiving payment from me for my room just received a phone call one Saturday morning and said that my stay was no longer going to be extended again was received received no reason whatsoever when I asked why I was being asked to leave the front desk help said that they have no idea two days after I left the hotel a charge of $110 was charged to my credit card a very unauthorized charge to my account I might add again everything else was great except for the owner of the hotel very rude very race is very hateful will never stay there again or recommend this place to none of my friends

Front desk was knowledgeable about dealing with last minute guests who had American Airlines vouchers. It had been a long day waiting at the airport for a flight that was eventually cancelled and he had a good sense of humor which lifted my spirits. Check in was efficient and informative.
Requested and received a quiet room which was clean and I was thrilled there was a microwave. Room was clean, bed was a little on the firmer side.
Breakfast opens at 6am. I arrived around 8:15am. There were only a few guests there and it was very peaceful. I didn’t have high expectations for the breakfast and was pleasantly surprised when I found many options I liked and left very full.
A lady was on the front desk the day of check out and she had excellent data privacy practices when I had to be reminded of my room number after breakfast which I had forgotten after checking in the day before. She was very helpful when I needed to order a taxi back to the airport - reassuring me when the driver was a little later than the time he had given her that they were familiar with the driver and he was very reliable and would turn up.
Though I didn’t have to pay for my night at the hotel because it was paid for by the airline, I noted it was only $87 for the night which is very reasonable for what was given in return.
The only thing I wished for that wasn’t there would have been a couple of bottles of water in the room.

Booked a few weeks early on Marriot app and did the check in via the app with a request for early check in (12:00) for elite members. Got an ok from the app but on arrival the rooms were not ready. Had to ask one of the cleaning staff to search for the front desk clerk. Waited more than ten minutes. Basically told us “tough luck” come back in 3 hours. We waited 5 hrs and still had to wait on a room. On check out there was nobody at desk again. Eventually came to front when I tossed the keys over the counter. There were also large amounts of trash in the front parking spots. It was cleaned up later except for some used syringes.

Room wasn’t available till after 5:30pm.
Wouldn’t ever stay here again. Whole place smells like weed. Horrible experience. I don’t recommend it for anyone unless you love to smell like weed. Stinks , dank, outdated. Check in lady was very nice so I can’t complain about her.

Stayed at plenty of Marriots (and Fairfields) in my day, but this one was more than slightly better in a number of departments for a budget hotel. Nice, helpful staff at all times of day. Larger rooms with quality linens and mattresses. Cleaner bathroom with better shower pressure. In all, highly recommended for business or pleasure travel to Dallas/FW.

Outdated and smelly hallways, room spelt like food, hot, tv not working. Went down to inform the front desk and informed the room had just been vacated with long term tenants staying in the room. In the meantime find multiple bugs in the bed and around the room. Needless to say packed up bags at 9:30 at night to find a new hotel at a Hilton!
