Long story short my I checked my luggage with the front desk for a few hours before heading to the airport. When I went to get my bag I noticed that the handle had been ripped off. I stayed calm realizing that mistakes happen and hoping that the Warwick and the manager Joy would make it right. Even though it took a little extra time waiting to hear from her she definitely made up for the mishap and I left the situation with a smile on my face knowing that there are still people and places out there that care about the customers experience. Thank you!
We enjoyed a welcoming experience at this historic hotel. The location is fantastic and the staff very friendly. Public area is quite small and parking was a bit of a trick so ponied up for the $32 valet service. My first room had a non-functioning A/C which doesn’t work on a Dallas afternoon in May, so was moved to a much nicer room - wish I had it to begin with - which had A/C. Worked out fine. I’d come back - the ultimate review, right?
This just isn’t a 4 star hotel. 2 stars at best, which is very misleading. Interior is extremely outdated both in the rooms, hallways and lobby and although it’s a beautiful building, there are ways to maintain the historic charm with the update this place needs. It honestly feels a bit eerie and should not be at the price point it’s at.
A lackluster performance by the Landmark Restaurant in the historic Melrose Hotel in Dallas. 175.00 wasted on a very unimpressive Easter/Passover Brunch Buffet. Gone are the lavish Holiday Buffet’s this once grand hotel was known for.
Terrible sleep! Woken up by 6am by construction. This hotel fails at the basic. My Wife and I stayed here for a weekend getaway from the kids but woken up by construction instead. The service, spa and bar are really nice. The Library Bar has great live music.
