The Beeman Hotel garners appreciation for its stylish and inviting ambiance, with modern rooms that offer a clean setting for guests. Its central location is lauded by guests for its proximity to attractions and convenient transit options. While the hotel's amenities, including the comfortable beds and shuttle service, receive positive mentions, there is room for improvement in shower pressure and complimentary offerings. The noise levels are generally considered low, contributing to a peaceful stay. However, some guests feel that the additional costs for certain amenities detract from the hotel's overall value. Service at The Beeman is often commended for its staff's warm and efficient manner, although there have been occasional reports of slower service.

All front desk staff were very friendly & engaging. Jakory's customer service skills stood out the most. He informed us of safety protocols, amenities & hand delivered extra towels to our room when requested. Theo pool heater did not work, but it was advertised on the door & the water wasn't that cold, so it wasn't a big deal. There was not a microwave in the hotel room, event though search engine sites said there would be a microwave. The shower gel & shampoo containers were also empty in the room, so we had to request more. The water did not get really hot, it was just warm. Our TV would randomly change channels while we were watching it and reset back to the welcome screen. The rooms could also be sound proof a bit more because we could hear the TV of people on both sides of our room, we could hear people talking in the hall, and we could also hear people talking in their room when we walked by. It's really nice to have live music in a socially distant atmosphere. Overall we enjoyed the stay and would recommend because of the indoor pool, clean spaces, and good customer service. Although, having a microwave in the room, having hot water, and filled shower dispensers would make it even better.

We made a quick (less than 24 hr stay) in Dallas to visit family who were in town with our two kiddos in tow and wanted to feel comfortable in a space that was clean, chic, comfortable and close to the uptown area. We found all of those at The Beeman Hotel!! Highly recommend staying here if you are looking for an affordable option that still has high service standards and style. Looking forward to another stay in the near future!

I have stayed in many hotels in my life, and I have to say this ranks as one of my top experiences. Will (Director of Rooms) delivered world class customer experience. I don’t say that lightly. He took the BEST care of us possible. Friendly, professional, and had a kindness rarely found these days. The hotel was amazing. They recently renovated and it looks great. The pool was clean, the bar area was swanky and fun, and the rooms were perfect. Loved the furniture, the huge TV, and all the niceties (plenty of USB ports, keurig, storage, etc). The showers had good water volume and the toilets flushed nicely (many hotels lack in these areas) the Beeman is nicely situated with many nearby eating options and easy access to downtown and the freeways. Its in a nice area and we felt safe.

Overall, we will absolutely come back and stay! Highly recommend the Beeman. Talk to Will, you’ll be glad you did!

Arrived January 1st, the day after New Years so sleep and rest was needed. Walls are very thin and windows do not block out highway noise. Every time a heavy truck drove by on the highway, you would hear it. I got no sleep and asked for a room transfer.

Second night, the guests in the room next door were active in adult activity and due to the thin walls, my sister and I were awakened at 3am. Next morning, I checked out.

Last, this hotel ONLY sells Aquafina Water on premise and charges $7 for a small bottle! Aquafina doesn't quench thirst and at $7 it's ridiculous.

Plus: Decor and ambiance
Cons: Thin walls, thin windows that don't block out highway noise, $7 for a bottle of water

We booked The Beeman with two other families to do a quick spring break and chose the hotel because it looked like the best option with an indoor pool for the kids to enjoy. When we arrived we thought it was strange that there was no valet but were happy that there was ample parking near the hotel. No one mentioned at check in that you had to request anyrequests for cleaning before 10 am and since we were staying for four nights it didn’t seem out of line to expect that we could have someone come and take out our trash or clean up if we requested it, however it was an issue, as our request was met with a very rude response. (After we had gifted two dozen fresh cookies to the staff.) When we did get someone to come tidy our room they appeared to have left in the middle of cleaning and left us with no toilet paper which we discovered after returning late that night. The indoor pool was closed with no real explanation of why or when it would be fixed. The walls are incredibly thin and guests were very loud. We didn’t get much sleep over the four days we were there. They had no in caffeinated tea in the hotel which is very strange for what was described as a nice boutique hotel. We returned late Saturday night to find that there was no parking bc they had blocked off all of the spaces for valet which seemed silly to pay for after we had been parking ourselves for the previous three days. After being up all night due to loud neighbors I requested late check out at noon bc I needed to do a long training run and was told it was not possible to stay an extra hour. We were still at the hotel at noon and no one had cleaned our room at that point so I guess it would have been possible.) I completely understand the state of the world and the difficulty in hiring but the rudeness of the staff and lack of attention to basic convenience was inexcusable. I would never stay in or recommend this hotel. Very disappointing.

The hotel is very located if you are visiting SMU. It has a Starbucks within a 5 minute walk. The room was spacious, comfortable bed and nice bedding. The shower head was very soothing and good water pressure. We were first in a room closer to the Expressway, I asked if a quieter room was available. They were very accommodating, and gave us another room further away from the street. Will, the Director of Rooms, contacted me right away to check how the new room was working it out. He gave us dinner recommendations and helped us when I had to suddenly cancel our last night in the hotel. We had dinner at the hotel the first night, and despite the COVID restrictions, food was very good and not too expensive. A good option if you are tired and need a good meal.

I'm a local and ended up staying at this hotel for an extended period. Ended up utilizing almost every aspect of the hotel so I feel my experiences carry some weight in my review.
Let's start with the AMAZING location, next to Mockingbird Station, SMU and easy access on and off the Interstate but not enough to be a heavy thoroughfare. Super easy access and only minutes to the heart of Downtown Dallas. The location couldn't be better!
Staying during the Pandemic creates it's own challenges and the entire team at The Beeman Hotel handle it with extreme poise and cool. The Front Office Team is nothing short of exemplary. Lead by Will, Rooms Director, they embody what The Beeman is all about. Cool and relaxed but refined, giving The Beeman that Urban Boutique feel.
The indoor pool is phenomenal, gorgeous and warm with safely (limited) distanced seating. We visited several times, we loved it so much.
Francisco at the Bar in the evenings is fantastic! From grabbing a drink to relax, celebrating a birthday or ordering something to take to the room, he gives you VIP treatment.
Then there was our room...I absolutely love the design of the room...modern with retro touches gives a very chic feel as you enter the room. I utterly fell in the love with the Bathroom, though on on the smaller side, the modern style gives almost an Art Deco look. Fantastic lighting!! For those of us who find that very important. Only improvement would be more plugs, but considering it's a renovated hotel, there is only so much that can actually happen. They do have USB plugs on the desk, so that's a definite plus!
All in all I think this is a fantastic place to stay. I will definitely recommend to anyone. I would note, if you're looking for a romantic place, a place for families, a business need or wanting something to just go to and chill...look no further than The Beeman. The cool vibes are definitely what Dallas needed!

Pros:
Good location
Fast check in
Free parking
Refrigerator in room
Great staff
Keurig in room

Cons:
Thin walls. You can hear most of what's going on in the hall.
Parking at night is difficult as most are taken and the spots are narrow. Some people really park horribly and sometimes take two spots.

Room:
Spacious. The bed was a little firm, but still comfortable. The pillows are small, but there's four available.
The AC stopped working at around 11pm, but the front desk sent someone to fix it within 5 minutes. It was fixed within 10 minutes.
Only one side of the bed had a plug, but the front desk was able to lend us an extension cord.
The keurig has tea and coffee k cups. You can ask for more at the front desk since housekeeping currently doesn't clean the rooms while you're there due to covid.
The bathroom was roomy and clean. The water pressure was perfect. The toiletries included shampoo, conditioner, body wash and bar soap. I didn't like the conditioner. It didn't condition enough.
The iron and ironing board can definitely be missed if you're not searching for it. It's right behind the cabinet that has the safe.

Pool: we didn't use it, but it looked nice. It was Indoor and the gym is right next to it.

Bar/restaurant: they had live entertainment when we were there. We didn't eat or drink there, but did notice they offered whiskey flights.

This hotel is great for a baecation hotel. My husband and I stayed for 3 nights and it met all our needs. It is in a great location for people who still getting to know there way around the city, everything felt 5 minutes away. The room was clean and I enjoy the decor, very artistic. The food was good but I wasn’t fan of the extra 23% add to bill for food being brought to the room. Overall, it was a great expression and we will be booking again! Hope this helps.

The rooms are clean and modern looking. We had an issue with the mini fridge in our room and in less than 2 minutes they had people working on a solution. A maintenance person replaced it and housekeeping cleaned the area in a matter of minutes, all with smile on their faces and conversing with us. The indoor pool is really nice, and the restaurant serves great food. We asked for 30 minutes late check out and was given an hour and a half. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. This hotel and the staff are simply amazing! Don't hesitate, just book your stay here and thank me later.
