First - the hotel is extremely nice, my problem lies with the valet service. I drove a brand spanking new GT Fastback - for whatever reason I noted the odometer reading on arrival. The next morning there are 69 extra unexplained miles on my car, SOMEONE who had access to my keys stole my car without permission overnight. The next morning on checkout there was no one available to drive a manual so I had to go fetch my car myself, it was backed into the space with scratches on the back - already took it to the body shop and that is 1k just for parts. The front desk was worthless, called later that day and was directed to the valet "manager" who said he'd check the cameras and get back with me within the hour. Its next day and I have heard absolutely nothing. Literally the worst experience I have ever had, AND the hotel has yet to refund my valet fee.

The hotel was in a great location. Go across the street and find 4 great restaurants! Go to the hotel restaurant and get the apple dessert! I got an upgrade as a diamond member! I was completely surprised because I never got one in a garden inn before!

This hotel was nice and clean. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Location is in the middle of everything, which was a plus for us. Inside the room, the drain in the bathroom sink was not draining quickly/properly. There was no lever to pull or keep the drain open so each time we used the sink, the drain closed and caused water to back up. We then had to use our fingers to pry open the drain to her the water out. The shower literally has to run 10-15 before it became bearable to enter. The TVs in the rooms are not upgraded to Smart TVs so we had to rely on cable television for our entertainment. There was no way watch any streaming services and connect them to the TV. I think for the price of the rooms, the TVs should have at least had apps. There is also no complimentary breakfast at this hotel. Overall, the hotel was okay. The purpose of our trip was relaxation so we spent a lot of time in the room. Otherwise, these issues would have been as much of a big deal to us.

Overall the hotel was nice in good location. Velet service was quick to take and get car minimum wait time. (5min). Not all was good in the room the Bed sheets had stains on them (not 1or2 but 15), the tub drain didn’t drain and the tile floor was super sticky!

I tried to stay at a Marriott property closer to the events I was attending, however they were having plumbing issues. The clerk just coming on duty got handed the task of telling check-ins, the hotel had no water with no timeline. I immediately got on Hilton app and booked my goto property for a reservation. Drove to this property and checked right in no problem. As usual everything was great, the Valets, the Front Desk staff, the on-site security guy, and the wait staff. My only issue which I have never experienced at any property was…the coffee. I know. Here’s the story. Get up, go down to restaurant, order breakfast and coffee. The server stands in middle of the restaurant and says “there are no free refills on coffee, it’s $4 a cup”. Now I have a problem and so does all the other coffee drinkers. Why?, because the free coffee setup, for anybody, is at the door of the restaurant. So…anybody walking by gets free coffee, yet we have to pay $4 a cup…nope. Everybody got and rushed the coffee setup. Fix that problem please and everybody will be happy !!!! I have reviewed this property before and it’s the same location wise. One block from DART Rail, giving you access to the city. Two blocks to AT&T District. Three blocks to City Hall. It’s pretty much right in center of Downtown.
