It was ok, if you don’t mind lack of amenities. No ice, drinks, coffee, or breakfast. Landscaping was rough. Back security door was unlocked and open. Five total cars were there.

However, the room was clean. The Shower was hot. And, it was cheap.

Quality Suites in Bridgeport is in a sleepy town where the hotel could use a decoration upgrade, but the room was clean and the bed was comfy. The biggest problems with this hotel are the room was set at 61 when I checked-in... absolutely freezing! The breakfast was not great... pretty average. The hotel desk were friendly. I feel bad for this hotel since it really is just fine! I was comfortable there but unfortunately I was only one of two guests that night, seemingly.

The staff was very kind and friendly. The room was extremely clean and breakfast was good.
My only complaint is the $150.00 incidental amount. I much rather you come to my room before we left and inspect our room which would only take a couple of minutes. That way if you find something you think was done wrong on our part we would rightfully have a chance to see and know what you found and defend ourselves. Honesty should work for the benefit of the hotel and for patrons as well.
I noticed on some of the hotel posts made by management, that it might take 7 to 14 days before we see the transaction reversed on our credit card account. Maybe of no fault to you, I really don't know but an inspection before we left would clearly solve that problem. I'm sure you will say you are too busy to do that. I understand that many hotels charge a fee but we have never been charged that high of an amount.
Our plan was to stay there on our way back through Bridgeport but that would have been another $150.00 transaction that we weren't willing to do again because that would then be $300.00 tied to our credit charge with the previous one still pending. Instead we made reservations at the Bridgeport Suites right next to you. The total price including tax was $62.00 and they did not charge any incidental fees. The motel was exceptionally nice, clean and friendly just like the Quality Inn. Both great places to stay.
One thing we will always do is to first check on incidental fees and if we aren't given the option of mutual inspection vs paying a high incidental fee without mutual inspection we will definitely move on. Lesson learned!

Response from Quality S, General Manager at Hometown Executive Suites
Responded Apr 12, 2016
Good Morning, Yes, as most Hotels do authorize an incidental for any damages done to the room we actually make you aware of it at the time of check in. A lot of hotels don't and not required too. We like to let our guest know so they are not surprised of seeing the authorization. Just like getting gas most gas stations pull an authorization to secure enough funds for the transaction. We do inspect the rooms and can do so with you at your request, we do verify all rooms with a cash incidental deposit and can do so with the request of the guest with a credit card/debit card authorization. Also, before we do an actual charge of any incidental we call you and discus if there were problems and reasons to what had happen before we do an actual charge. We, the Hotel releases the funds on our end the moment you check out, it all depends on your banking institute when they release the funds back into your account.. I have seen them go in as quickly as 24 hours and some as long as the 14 business days. As well as booking with 3rd party sources, we are required to obtain an incidental authorization even the 3rd party source makes it aware for us too. I am sorry this was the reason you decided to stay else where. Thank you, Zabrena Van Schuyver General Manager

Me & some of my family members traveled to Bridgeport, Texas for a 25th anniversary party. Reading the reviews, I was a little skeptical about booking a room but being that it was a reasonable rate, I took the chance. I must say, I'm glad I did. My stay at this hotel was very pleasant, I booked a queen suite that included 2 queen beds with a sleeper sofa. The room was very nice! The rooms was very spacious an nicely updated, the breakfast was good, which consisted of waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, yogurt, pastries and fresh coffee. The ladies at the front desk were very accommodating and friendly. Brookshire's is right next to the hotel, you can literally walk there for anything you might need like, snacks or drinks. We had a great experience here, definitely would recommend it! ;)

When u need a manger she is no where to be found we have even made complaints threw police they told him she promised she would speek with us within in hour that was two days ago we have been trying to reach her since the 6th today is the 15 th we had to cancel all debit cards because of charges made on the 11th when we where not there they asked for a new bank statement we have it they just wont return our calls we should have known first off yhis hotel would be problems they couldn't find my room after already check in so they had to move me then the next 3 days fire alarm went off two off them because off the ommlet lady. My advice unless you are useing company card don't stay there and choice hotels can't help u becuase its a private ownership. No heated pool. No hot tub its sad to see the front desk people stand there watch kids go to a frezzing pool when they know its not heated.look at the review before u stay its only company people that like this hotel

We are a group of truckers that have been staying in the hotel for a little over a month. They offered us a great rate. They have superior service at this hotel! Starting with the room, they are all suites so space is incredible, beds are to die for! Breakfast is the best i've had, they even set it out earlier for us! Happy hour in the evening is the best. Pool is not heated but with this temperature it's perfect! Hotel and employees are really accommodating. Thank you so much for all that you do to take care of our group.

My wife and I stayed here on 7/3/2012 visiting some friends and decided to stay what we thought was clean and reasonable hotel. At first glance it was great until the next morning. OMG no body soap!!! I contacted the front desk and to my suprise they haven't had any since Friday some five days earlier. Ok well, they did have a small bottle of shampoo and we lathered up. While this was going on, both the bathtub and sink fixtures all were loose too. By this time, I looked around the room and noticed someone before us apparently had no spit cup and used the wall to support their habit. And in closing, a platoon of Marines must have chowed down before we got to breakfest (need I say more). I expressed my disapointment with the front desk, they expressed how sorry they were about our experiences. Ken T

The front desk staff went above and beyond to ensure satisfaction during our stay! Very friendly and helpful! This is my second time staying at this hotel and it is a really nice hotel. Take advantage of the indoor pool. I would recommend this hotel if you are visiting and want a quite nice place to stay.

We check in and the lobby is nice. The receptionist was sweet. Elevator stinks but we get to our floor and the hall stinks, carpet is old. We open the door and it’s so hot, which the receptionist did warn us about. Room stinks. If the room doesn’t cool off, let her know and she’ll switch our room. Should have been a warning. Ok so the toilet won’t flush, I call the front desk, we switch rooms. We get into our room and, I step on a roach, ok it’s just one night. We check the toilet, it flushed. I set my purse on the bed and the sheets are stained, my husband goes to close the curtains, and they are filthy as well. The last straw was when we open the closet and roaches galore. I ask for my money back and I have to wait for the general manager. Two days later still no phone calls. When I call the manager is not in. Such an inconvenience having to move my family to another hotel in the middle of the night.
