We took one step in the room and decided to go to dollar general to get disinfectants. That’s the best thing about this hotel. It’s within walking distance of the DG. It smells musty and old. The sheets were stained. There were hairs in the bathroom. The toilet was from the 60s. Be prepared with cleaning products if you have to stop here. Camping is a great alternative. Even in extreme temperatures. May the odds be ever in your favor!
Stayed overnight for a fishing tournament at nearby Hubbard Creek lake. Rooms are old, but they are clean and comfortable. Air conditioned, beds are a little hard. Check in was quick and easy. Had parking for our boat, with security cameras around. Easy to get in and out to the lake. Ok for small town lodging.
stayed there June 17/16. The bathroom floor was littered with dead beetles, roaches, the towel rack in the bathroom was missing, no bathmat provided (not that I would have showered there anyway). Was wakened in the night by a roach crawling on my face. Proprietor in the morning conveniently couldn't speak English so issues couldn't be brought to management's attention. Will never stay there again
Hey, it isn't a big city 5 star. Don't expect that and you won't be disappointed. It is clean, quite, and a great place to stay.Beds are new and comfortable. Cable is good and internet provided. Service is friendly and good. Never a complaint here! What more could you want while in small town Texas working! Thx!
Room was clean but occupied by a brown recluse spider and dead crickets all over the floor. Room wasn't bad but could have done without the insects. Pool wasn't open but we knew that before we booked and was given a $30 discount.
