We chose to stay at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Nashville due to the location and being so close to Bridgestone Arena for events. You can walk to everything in the downtown area. The hotel staff are very friendly and the rooms are decent. There is a nice restaurant on grounds and a sports bar on the upper level. There is also a really nice little store on the main floor with lots of things to choose from, snacks, beverages including beer and wine, small meals, and toiletries.

This is a really large, clean hotel. The rooms are a nice size and updated. Staff is plentiful and available for all your needs. I made a request on my app and it was at my door in less than 10 minutes. The location is perfect. We were within walking distance of the country music hall of fame and many other attractions. Broadway is one block away. There is also a very large food court on the same block with many choices for food. They also have two bars and live music inside the food court. Would stay here if we visit Nashville again.

Recently stayed at this location and it’s in a great area and the breakfast is good if you are an elite member. Marriott is typically my preferred hotel brand, but not anymore. The cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired. Toenail clipping on the floor, pile of dust in the bathroom and booger stained walls are not warm welcomes. The staff also seemed stressed and overwhelmed. A nice lady came to clean the bathroom, but she could barely move around. Bless her heart and I heard another worker seemingly upset and overworked employee say “f—k this.” I’m disappointed as my expectations were higher for a 4-star hotel. I typically hold the Marriott in high regard, but after this visit and the response from customer service regarding my complaints, no thank you. Carry hand sanitizer and pray!

We chose the Renaissance because it was less than 1/4 mile from most tourist attractions. We used door near the Conference Center & were 5 steps from the food hall. Ryner, Broadway, National African American Music Museum, State Capital, Country Music Hall of Fame … were a quick & easy walk. We were impressed by the helpful, friendly & accommodating staff, everyone was beyond wonderful! We were in Room 1905 for 5 days & couldn’t have been more comfortable! It was nice to have housekeeping & toiletries again. We enjoyed the Club Room, Parker made us feel at home & gave us good sightseeing suggestions for. The hotel had a full gym & indoor pool both stocked with water & towels. There was a restaurant & bar in the lobby provided a lot of comfortable seating. There was a valet, we parked at the library, their public parking is connected by skywalk to the hotel.

It’s been about 20 years since being at the Renaissance Downtown, and so glad to have made the choice to return. Great location and service at the hotel. Was slightly disappointed with the concierge level of offerings, but the hosts were fantastic and so helpful. We did have one small issue with a sheet that appeared to be not clean, but it was quickly taken care of. To be honest, we didn’t notice it until we were already in the bed so not sure if it was like that prior. We had early check in and everything went great. The hotel had many signs for mask wearing and social distancing in the elevators, but only the staff and few others followed the guidance and requirements. This was the same all throughout Nashville. I do think the Renaissance did a better job with masking and notices than any other place we visited in and around Nashville.
