On a road trip from Austin to Chicago and stayed at Holiday Inn Nashville-Vanderbilt (Dwtn) for 3 nights. Simply the best thing about our stay was The Commodore! The music nights are a must-see/must-be-experienced nightly events. Best thing about Nashville as far as I'm concerned. High-quality singers, hosted by Debbie. Chuck & Cyndi are great and worth mentioning as in-house staff. The food was well-priced and delicious. Went Downtown on the bus which was efficient and on-time. Not impressed by the car park charge, which feels like a room supplement and is not great for a hotel which should include parking. Pool was adequate, although rather cold. Off to Chicago as a last stop and then back home to England. Again, make sure you get to The Commodore - you won't be disappointed.
We had a great stay at the Holiday Inn N-V (Dwtn). The best part was the restaurant where we were treated with dinner and a show one of the nights we were there. The musicians were awesome and funny! Kerry was our waitress and she was a blast! The food was outstanding as well. It was a New Orleans style salmon. The shuttle is a great extra support.
Big selling point of this hotel is the shuttle service to downtown. However, the shuttle service was totally insufficient for the amount of people needing transportation. Also, confusing rules about booking a ride. We were told it was on a “first come, first serve” basis. We waited over a half an hour on a Sunday morning and then found out that they were taking reservations. Unless you have an hour to wait around, the shuttle service is useless.
For the price per night, this hotel leaves a lot to be desired. The rooms are spacious and clean but the bathrooms are outdated and there was rust all over the shower. AC in rooms is outdated and took a long time to cool the room. The shuttle is a good service but unreliable, only one was running one day. Shuttle drop off area was vague.Front desk staff could be more informative and attentive for the price you are paying per night, they did not mention the shuttle or hotel restaurant at all. Location is good and walking distance to Hillsboro Village. Smoking area is too close to general areas and unpleasant for non smokers.
We went on a girls trip to Nashville. Hotel was perfect distance from everything, clean, accommodating. The shuttle for the hotel and the driver Josh was definitely a plus! Made getting around super convenient.
The hotel was great. Rooms were clean and beds are comfy. Josh the shuttle driver was wonderful! He was super nice, gave us lots of suggestions for places to visit and eat. He was always quick to pick up when we called.
Our stay here was unbelievable. I chose this hotel because of location and price but we got a whole lot more. The hotel itself was clean and fairly quiet for being downtown and seemed to have been updated fairly recently. When we checked in there were signs in the lobby advertising live music nightly which was something we were interested in. We went to the restaurant and ordered dinner and shortly afterwards 3 songwriters took the stage and played their own music for 45 minutes then 3 more came on and played for another 45 minutes.there were a total of 4 sets. This happened very night with new singers every night. The serving staff was awesome. They brought our food and drinks in a timely manner and checked o us frequently. They were full of information about Nashville and some of the writers. I would like to thank Ashley,Kerry,Jan and Cyndi for making our stay so amazing. The manager of the restaurant was Todd and the staff had great thinks to say about working for him.…
Perfect clean hotel, polite staff and when they were told it's my birthday by my partner they upgraded us to a plus room and gave us a bottle of bubbles what more can you say perfection. Thankyou all of you
Location is very good. Room is comfortable. The food is good with the bonus of quality live music every night. Shuttle service to Downtown is very useful. Special mention to Kerry and Cyndi in the Commodore Grill who went that extra mile in looking after us. Also thanks to Ferdinando who helped us with tourist information.
I spent two nights here with my wife and the best part of the hotel is the staff. We were well taken care of throughout the stay. The food was very good for a hotel and the prices were great. Leon and Keon fixed me and my wife salmon and greek salad which was amazing. The second day we just wanted to hang out by the pool so we ordered room service. we had it brought to us by the sweetest lady named Noel. Dee fixed the steak that day and it was delicious. I do hope to come back soon to spend more time in the area.
