Very nice hotel but they need some customer service training. Stayed four nights, room was cleaned only twice. No I didn't opt out and no I didn't have a do not disturb sign on the door. The first time the room wasn't cleaned I thought it was my mistake, maybe I needed to opt-in? Nope. Just got skipped for some reason. Ok, that happens. But then I requested fresh towels, directly with the front desk. Returned hours later, no towels. Ok so then I called housekeeping directly from my room and requested towels. Returned hours later and nothing. Went down to the front desk and spoke to the night manager and the same desk attendant (who obviously could have cared less). No I'm sorry, just a "whatever" look on her face and attitude. Waited 15 mins for someone to show up with towels. Next day I spoke with the day manager who was great, apologized and when we returned our room was cleaned. But next day, same thing happened. Wow. I don't get it. For what we paid each night (well over $400 per night) the service should have been top shelf. Location matters and they're in a great spot. But service matters too and on this front they fell well short.…
Absolutely perfect resort. The city views from our room and the rooftop pool were amazing! The hotel had everything we needed. Barlines was a great place to grab food and drinks while listening to musicians. I'll definitely stay here again. Walking distance to Broadway. Our room was clean and spacious.
Over the last 5 years we have stayed at numerous hotels in Nashville, the Omni is definitely our favorite. We have stayed at this location 3 times now. This location is great for sporting events and concerts at Bridgestone Arena (what we are usually there for) and is a very short walk to Broadway. During our last stay at the Omni we scheduled a couples massage in the Spa and it was amazing. We have since tried other hotel spas in other cities and non have compared. The hotel is very clean, great restaurants and live music in their sports bar. The sports bar does stop serving food a little too early if you are coming back from an event at the Bridgestone. We look forward to our next stay :)
Second rate hotel for a premium price. Almost a thousand dollars a night for a cramped, dated hotel room, and they charge you ten bucks a night for internet access. Unless getting ripped off is your thing, I would look elsewhere.
Pros: Within walking distance of food, entertainment, and cultural events. Efficient check-in and checkout; gracious and helpful staff. Great quality napkins in the restrooms - not the cheap kind found in other hotels. Guestrooms had necessary amenities; noticed they no longer provide hair dryers - or I didn't see one in my room. Cons: No air circulation in the guest restrooms. It got really hot really fast when the lights were on for more than 5 minutes. Lacking some conveniences found elsewhere: no ledge or place to hold your cellphone when using the restrooms near the meeting and event rooms. I liked having the option not to receive housekeeping service every day, the staff were extremely kind and accommodating but sheets and towels were not always clean and rooms not dusted every day (see pic of cosmetic mirror). Overall, I recommend this hotel for events and would return.…
