We stay at this hotel every time we have to visit Vanderbilt Hospital. It is always clean and we feel safe here. The staff is very accommodating and makes sure your stay is good and you don’t have any additional needs.
After a 9 hr. drive to Nashville for a wedding the next day. My wife and I looked forward to relaxing in our suite and the pool. Check in was smooth and we went out for dinner. Returning to the suite, the living room AC was not coming on but the bedroom AC worked fine. Assuming that it was a battery issue with the thermostat, the desk sent up a maintenance guy with new batteries, but that wasn't it. After breakfast, I mentioned the issue to the front desk. We were leaving to shop at 10AM but needed the room by Noon to get ready for the wedding. Upon returning at 12:15, we found a NEW OPERATING AC UNIT INSTALLED! ( AND on a Sunday ) The bedroom AC was working fine and we could have made do with just that. But the hotel went above and beyond my expectations. To everyone on duty June 5,6, and 7, THANK YOU! This hotel by far has been the best service I have ever had. …
I'm in Nashville pretty frequently as my son attends college there but this was my first time staying at this particular hotel; it's less expensive than my go-to hotel in Nashville and it had great reviews so I decided to give it a try. I'm now wondering if the people who wrote these rave reviews stayed at the same hotel that I did. The first room we were placed in had mold all over the curtains. To the staff's credit, they immediately placed me and my SO in another room after I called and requested to be moved but I'm wondering why we (or anyone) were placed in that room to begin with. The mold was hard to miss as it was in rather large splotches all over the curtains so housekeeping had to have noticed it when cleaning the rooms - do they not notify maintenance or the front desk when they come across issues like this? The 2nd room we were placed in had not been cleaned very well; there was hair all over the shower, towels and bathroom floor. I was tired and had to get up early in the morning so I just dealt with it; I didn't want to go through the hassle of requesting yet another room change. Thankfully, we only booked this hotel for a night; I was ready and happy to check out!…
The hotel is in a quiet area, just a short ride to downtown Nashville. There are numerous stores in the surrounding area. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The best part was the staff. They were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was included. The food was average but there were plenty of options so we could get on with our day. We would definitely recommend this hotel.
I stay at a lot of Hilton’s, but not very often a Hampton Inn & Suites, this property in Green Hills, Nashville is so good. Spotlessly clean. Very good beds, linens, pillows, and the breakfast was awesome. I had an egg white frittata and turkey sausages. Great coffee. Nice ambience at reception. Save your money and honestly get a better hotel experience than most! Well done!
