Excellent, beautiful hotel in the perfect location. Centrally located near all the hot spots of Broadway and Gulch, easily walk anywhere you wish to go. It's far enough away from the crowds but close enough that you don't need to use your car at all. The room was beautiful, and the Grand Club Lounge was exceptional! The staff in the lounge were above anyone else I encountered at the hotel. The breakfast buffet was robust with a wide variety of hot and cold options, minimal snacks throughout the day, and free beer and wine for a few hours in the evening with plenty of appetizers and snacks that could easily replace your dinner plans.

The large heated pool was on the 5th floor with a great view and plenty of seating options. Very few people used it so it was nice it wasn't crowded. Around the corner from the pool is a nice fitness facility that had a variety of cardio equipment, weight machines, and free weights.

In the evenings throughout the week there was live music in the lobby bar which drew a decent crowd. I would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back this summer.

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt for my birthday weekend in July. The hotel is new (since Oct 2020). The service in all areas of the hotel was wonderful. Our only hiccup was in housekeeping to clean the room. We had to text the given number to get the room cleaned and the first 2 nights the room was never touched. They did bring us supplies like shampoo, soaps, water, and towels but didn't come and clean the room to pick up the old towels, empty waste basket etc. My husband texted repeatedly telling them we never got the service and they finally texted back and did come on the last full day of our stay. The rooftop pool was super crowded as expected. There is a full bar on the pool level and a spa. Pool opens at 7 am closes at 7 pm. The rooftop bar Lu/Na is also very nice. Lu/Na is full service with small plate items and has outside patio with breathtaking views. There is a full bar downstairs in the lobby area as well that opens at night with entertainment (live music duo on weekend). there is a full service restaurant which we tired for breakfast one day. They have a big buffet if you like that and off menu ordering too. Hummingbird is the coffee shop on the main level too. Tried the Bourbon Vanilla Latte. It tasted like a regular vanilla latte to me which was very good. They have fresh baked muffins and croissants in the early morning. What we liked the most is that it is a full service hotel, great location 5 blocks down Broadway to Honky Tonks and about the same distance to The Gulch area too. So we felt in the middle of all we wanted to do. There is a Whole Foods and McDonald's and 7 Eleven within 2 block also. The valet even gave my husband the name of a car service/driver we hired to drive us to go out to dinner on the rainy evening we were there and back to the airport. The room we stayed in was The Broadway Corner Suite and it was perfect for us. Loved the room. the beds were very comfortable and room was quiet. We had a pool and view of Broadway St. GH is modern, upscale, service oriented.. would stay here again in a heartbeat!

My niece and I recently spent 3 nights at the new Grand Hyatt Nashville and we were very impressed. The hotel is brand new and it is beautiful. The lobby was huge with a large receiving area, front desk, lobby bar, and coffee bar. The rooms are finished with a modern design and have every conceivable amenity including a safe, a nespresso machine, refrigerator, robes and slippers. Our room had a beautiful downtown view that was even prettier at night. The bathroom had a large double vanity with a tiled walk in shower with multiple shower heads.
Everyone we dealt with from the front desk staff to the valets were so friendly and accommodating. I can’t say enough about this hotel and I would compare it to any luxury brand hotel including a Four Seasons.

Starting with the good: Really nice, clean, and spacious rooms. Basically brand new. Walking distance to everything. Different areas to just hang out in common areas and have some drinks. Live music downstairs in evenings. Food at The Nashville Grange was pretty good for breakfast and dinner. The Hummingbird Coffee Market was also good for small snacks or pastries and the girl working both times we went in was really sweet and friendly.

Bad: A/C in our suite would not cut off. Constant noise unless you turned the whole unit off and then it would get stuffy. Couldn’t really sleep between that and the noise from the cars and motorcycles passing by. They all seem to feel the need to rev their engines as they pass by. Not Grand Hyatt’s fault but something to know. Called to get towels, hand towels, and wash cloths and they only brought towels and hand towels. No wash cloths. It was day before checkout so we just made do with what they gave us. Valet was great when we arrived but departure was very disorganized. First we used the text to get our car and after standing and waiting for over 15 minutes a text comes through saying bring the ticket to the valet desk. So, we had to wait roughly another 15 minutes because then they couldn’t find our key. They get there with our car and the guy gets out and runs away....with our key. So we had to hunt our key down again. For $45 a night there should be a little more organization and a secure spot for keys where they can grab a key when the owner calls for their car.

I have been a member of Hyatt Gold Passport for decades and Hyatt is my first choice of any hotel. Over at least a 30 year period this is absolutely the WORST Hyatt I have ever stayed at. The physical plant itself is great and we had a comfortable clean room. But without service and people to help you, we might have well stayed in a tent. We actually were warned that service would be an issue. And I note 23 other reviewers say the place is terrible so I am not alone. #1 no one answered the phone anywhere. To get to even speak to someone you had to go to the front desk or concierge who when they tried to call someone could not get through either. And even then we were told sorry, can't help you, you will have to take care of it on your own(actually told that at the front desk and concierge) #2 To me, the staff's attitude was too bad we cannot help you you are on your own. #3 Trust me there is no room service. I tried to get some canapes to my room and was told point-blank we don't do that unless you are a convention and it is a $1000 minimum. #4 No one outside the front desk seems to speak English. We tried to speak with housekeeping staff for a request and were it not for Google translate would not have been able to speak to anyone in person. I should say Google translate works well and saved us. The main problem overall was staff presented an attitude of we just don't care. To me, that is a non-negotiable aspect of staying somewhere. My wife and I will never return to this property for that one reason alone and we recommend you stay somewhere else also. Location is bad as the streets are jammed pack all the time due to heavy construction and constant party buses going up and down the street with bachelorette parties with loud music blocking traffic and for the same reason difficult or impossible to walk anywhere.

Tesia was wonderful and should be promoted. If not for her I would have checked out on the first night of my five night stay. Chris from accounting was extremely rude to my wife when she called to ask them to correct the $400 overcharge they made to our credit card.
Breakfast took forever, internet barely worked, TV in the room did not work, no one cleaned the room unless you asked for it. If you call the operator NO ONE answers and you must take the elevator down to the lobby to ask for towels/toilet paper, etc. The sheets were itchy.

We spent 5 nights at this Hyatt Regency as part of a large conference group. We were in a suite and had full access to the exclusive first floor club room. Everything about the hotel was spotlessly clean, modern, vibrant and very attractive. We were impressed with the hotel but even more impressed with the helpful attitude of every staff member we interacted with, including the front desk, the bellmen, the young lady who cleaned the room daily, the restaurant manager and wait staff, the maintenance guys who adjusted our shower and the staff of the Club Room (especially the delightfully helpful and pleasant Carrina (?) . Every staff member greeted us with a friendly smile, a happy greeting and an offer to help with anything that we might need. The entire staff made us feel welcome and seemed to value our staying with them.

The Club Room was outstanding. Not only was it very clean, modern and spacious, it offered an excellent hot and cold breakfast, snacks and drinks during the noon hour and afternoon and hot food/hors d’oeuvres and wine/beer in the evenings. It was a terrific area to meet up with friends for an early start on the day or to relax with at the end of the day. The staff in the club room was very attentive friendly and professional.

My only complaint is with the volume of street noise late at night on weekends. Our room overlooked Broadway where drivers seemed to race between the traffic lights with their extremely loud motorcycles, tuners and other vehicles with loud exhausts until around 1:30am. Then there were also extremely loud individuals and obnoxious groups on the sidewalks and street who seemed to try and see who could yell the loudest until after midnight. Unfortunately, because of the noise I was unable to get to sleep the first night until around 3:20am (and I had to be up at 6am). This was extremely irritating and frustrating. The noise was not a problem on week nights (or else I was too tired to notice). I recommend requesting a room that does not face Broadway to avoid the late night noise if staying on a weekend night.

I highly recommend this hotel.

I would come back to Nashville just to stay at this beautiful hotel! The location on Broadway was great, the decor is stunning and the staff were all so helpful and friendly. We were upgraded to a corner executive suite with a view down Broadway and all I can say is "wow"! Every detail was a delight in the room...robes, Nespresso machine, floor to ceiling windows, dimmable lighting etc. Every area of the hotel was impeccably clean and the tv remotes were sealed in plastic. This hotel is right at the top of my favorite hotels! Do not hesitate to stay here.

Great location just a few blocks from music row. Easy/friendly check in process. Food was great! A few issues: rollaway bed was delivered and they did not knock on the door before entering. Had to make multiple request for towels and hangers. Room was only cleaned one day and they didn’t start cleaning it until right before we returned (around 3:30pm). Issues with room service- order coffee one morning and it didn’t show up. Ordered coffee and breakfast to be delivered at 8:30am day of departure and it didn’t show up-we called it in and they had no record of it but did rush the order. Also. A shuttle would be very helpful!

We found it incredibly inconvenient that it took staff over three hours to clean our room several days in a row. One one specific day, we left our room at 11:00 am to use the pool area and the cleaning staff had just started cleaning our room. When we got back at 2:30 pm, the cleaning staff was still working on our room. When we were checking out after our stay, we waited in line for 20 minutes before anyone even looked our way to assist us. After checking out and receiving our room service bill, there was a $48 charge for products that we did not purchase. We are still waiting for an email from customer service to get this issue solved.

Hi, I was on the 23rd floor and yes there are stairs. It is part of the exit plan that all hotels incorporate and you can always ask for a room on one of the lower floors. Enjoy your time in June, it will be great!
