Can’t say enough about this beautiful hotel and their incredibly attentive staff!! The rooms are nicely appointed with full size toiletries, big, fluffy towels, robes and slippers. 2 bathroom sinks is a nice touch as well. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant, Yolan, was a delicious treat and our waitress was the best! You have to try their berry pancakes! The work out facility was a dream with panoramic windows to look out onto the city, 2 Pelotons plus ample other cardio equipment; cold water bottles, towels and earphones were Plenty as well. The rooftop pool and cabanas were quiet and relaxing; wish we had had more time to spend up here. Finally, the concierge, Arianna, helped make our anniversary weekend so special. She made great dinner reservations for us (always giving the restaurant a heads up that we were celebrating), as well as great suggestions of places to see and visit during our short visit. We definitely saw much more of the city and had a great time because of her suggestions. Her overall thoughtfulness in making this anniversary weekend (sans kids) special, makes her a true gem at this lovely hotel. We will definitely return.

The Joseph is fantastic and I enjoyed getting to be among the first people to experience their amenities, hospitality, and impeccable service. The food and beverages were outstanding, as were the views from the rooftop. I would like to recognize Drake at the front desk, Jasper at Denim, and Nathan in AV for providing excellent customer service during the stay. I also want to say "thank you" to housekeeping for the attention to detail in the room and compliment their work in making everything so comfortable and inviting. No doubt opening a new hotel during the pandemic has created challenges, but The Joseph has risen to the occasion and has made it look easy. I look forward to returning again soon.

From the moment we pulled into The Joseph we knew we were in for an experience unlike any of our many previous visits to Nashville. The bellmen greeted us immediately and began to tell us about this new property though he really didn't need to as the artwork all around quickly created the narrative. As we were escorted in we were blown away by the the handcrafted front desk. Check in was seamless and once we arrived into our room overlooking downtown Nashville we knew we had found a home when we come to visit our son at college. The Joseph simply didn't stop and when we went up on the roof to enjoy the saltwater pool we began to see if we could change our schedules so that we could extend our stay. The beauty of The Joseph had us immediately and then we were offered frozen grapes as a cool down option by the attentive staff... We have been following the Nashville food scene for years but chose to stay on the roof at the clever Denim Restaurant which is the best view in the city. The General Manager, Raj Radke stopped by and took the time to share the vision, origin and purpose of the hotel which he and his staff are executing flawlessly but summed up The Joseph perfectly, they are honoring all that Nashville is and has been while creating an environment of the best it is becoming. Choosing not to explore Broadway for dinner was a great choice confirmed as soon as our appetizers arrived. When our entrees arrived, so did James Beard Award Winning Executive Chef Tony Mantuano. At this point all my wife and I could do was look at each other. Chef Mantuano encouraged us to visit Yolan, the hotels signature restaurant on our next visit and we absolutely will. Congratulations to the great team that treated us like royalty and can not stress this enough to anyone visiting Nashville, do not miss The Joseph!!

Outstanding overnight stay at The Joseph. Met a friend for a night and we never left the hotel since we decided not to brave the Covid crowd. Lovely lunch and quiet conversation at rooftop bar. Amazing massage by Bryce who really knows what he is doing. Yolan is absolutely amazing. The enthusiastic and knowledgeable servers were incredible. We enjoyed the 5 course tasting menu with wine pairings and it was delicious. The sommelier presented the wine parings in such an enthusiastic manner and welcomed questions. I booked a nice corner suite and it was very well appointed. Only minor (very minor) complaint was there are really not enough outlet plugs. In this day and age when we all have so many items to charge this could be improved. Overall, I would highly recommend and will be back! Rooms had extra hand sanitizer and wipes, and plenty of sanitizer throughout the hotel. Once again compliments to the entire well trained staff.

Came for a business meeting in Nashville. The hotel is modern and with great amenities. The check in was easy and friendly. The front desk and door people are very helpful. We had gotten a suite which was amazing. There was a bedroom and second sitting area which someone can sleep in.- no noise from other rooms. The large bathroom had excellent shower and in this room a bath, nice hot water and good water pressure. Rooms were cleaned twice daily. The hotel is centrally located but far enough away from the downtown which does get loud and busy on the weekend nights. The hotel has a great rooftop pool where everyone is sociable and the pool gets crowed but unfortunately it's a small deck area with very limited pool chairs which are first come first serve, There is only so much space on the roof but maybe remove the 500$ cabanas and put more chairs in for everyone. Nice bar at pool with food, though I wasn't impressed with the food quality it's good enough. All the staff are very nice and helpful. The car valets are excellent, cars come quickly and they are very friendly. My wife went to spa and liked it. Overall a great time, nice modern hotel, perfect location, excellent staff. I would return to this excellent fun hotel

The wonderful staff greeted us with smiles and bottles of water. The hotel is in a great location so we walked everywhere without needing to call an Uber. We had the most amazing breakfast. The pastry chef makes the best croissants I’ve ever tasted! The rooms are spotless. Even the bar glasses in the room sparkle and you know they have been placed carefully on lovely towels without being touched. I called the desk for coffee creamer at 11 PM and two people arrived within minutes with a darling bag filled with six little containers of creamer. Incredibly soft robes are available in the closet and the bedding is perfection. My husband and I like blackout curtains and the ones in our room were fabulous. This hotel room has a button to press when you leave the room if you want it cleaned or if you want privacy. It’s nice not needing to search for the door knocker to place outside. Waiting for friends is so easy in the lobby because of tables, couches, fireplace, and gorgeous art work. Do not hesitate to book a room here.

I needed a relatively last minute accommodation booking and was pleasantly surprised to find this category 8 property for a prepaid rate of $232 on the last night of a holiday weekend.

Bonvoy Ambassador Recognition: Upgraded to a suite with amazing soaking tub. Good sized rooms. Breakfast credit of $25 per person - ended up spending an extra $52 on top of that (excl gratuity) for a splurge worthy breakfast.

Room service: easy to order by way of ipad in the room. Prompt service and great food.

Hard product was good with a boutique feel to it - like an autograph collection vibe but with luxury collection service and special touches.

Would return to and recommend this property.

The hotel is very nice and a great addition to Nashville upscale hotel offering. It is located in a central location to downtown restaurants and attractions. I recommend getting rid of the cabanas beside pool and replacing with additional chairs and umbrellas. The space is very limited guests spending this much for a room should be able to lounge chairs.

I stayed at The Joseph for three nights. The first thing I noticed as I pulled into the property, this is an elegant hotel. Walking into the lobby everything has a high quality feel without being overstated. I stayed in a king room which was beautifully appointed.

The Denim bar on the 21st floor is a great spot. Wonderful views and not too crowded. Mike, one of the bartenders is amazing with craft cocktails.

Although there are many new hotels in Nashville, I can't imagine one nicer than The Joseph. Perfect location and a boutique hotel feel.

I travel at least a couple of times per month and in addition to a few Marriott properties, I have been to multiple Luxury Collections the last few months, as well as two Montage properties and a St. Regis property. The service, attention to detail, accommodations, dining, etc. at The Joseph was so far superior to all of those establishments. It’s clear how challenging it’s been to maintain the same standards that existed pre-Covid in this industry, and even the nicest hotels have seemingly gone downhill despite their best efforts. My stay here was the first time since 2019 that I remembered how luxurious travel could be again gives me hope that others will rise to the standards they have set.

The most noticeable aspect of my experience was the attention to detail taken at every step. From the second I arrived, the valets and front desk greeted me expeditiously, walked me to the elevator, asked how I was doing and seemed genuinely interested in providing a warm and accommodating experience at every (literal) turn. Between the cup of tea at arrival, afternoon beverages in the lobby, constant replenishment of water in the room, mats next to the bed during turndown service and more, it’s clear that the staff training is impeccable and everyone there shares a common purpose to make each guests‘ stay memorable. I was in the gym for about an hour and no less than three individuals came by to ensure it was tidy and towels were replenished, which is something I rarely see anymore. Camille (concierge) stayed past the end of her shift just to ensure I had dinner reservations when I failed to plan ahead and quickly identified multiple options that were exactly what I was looking for. The staff at Denim were so professional, yet friendly, that it was where I chose to bring local friends back for evening drinks instead of anywhere else downtown in Nashville. I also appreciate the focus on recycling with both large sized toiletries and the metal bottles in the gym. My only complaint is that I’ve now been spoiled and it will such a downgrade staying anywhere else!

All of the above is required, and also, the water level has to be at least half full; so fill it up even when making one cup.
