Unique boutique hotel walking distance to lots of activities, food and music. Valet service was excellent. Front desk check in was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Rooms were quiet on street side. Price was high but in line with others nearby.

Three of us did a local staycation/momcation after spending almost 3 months not really leaving our neighborhood other than for essential errands due to COVID.

The Bobby Hote is not only a beautiful boutique hotel but we also felt safe being there during this challenging time. The rooms were cleared of all the shared knick-knacks that you get used to seeing in a hotel (pens, notepads, menus, local guides, etc) which was great. The rooms themselves were SO NICE! We had adjoining rooms on the 9th floor and they were perfect for the 3 of us (we are way too old at this point to share beds). One King Room and one room with two queen beds. The best pillow and sheets too!

Friday night we had a rooftop cabana and our server Reggie was really nice. We enjoyed the $5 prosecco, yummy baked goat cheese dip, Bobby burger, beef cheek quesadilla, and chicken tacos. Saturday AM we had coffee outside at the Cafe off the lobby and then Bananas Foster French Toast and the Honey Chicken Biscuits - both so so good! We made it up to the pool and Savannah, our pool server/hostess was also really good. We were up there ALL DAY and it was amazing. We had a cabana but mostly relaxed on the lounge chairs. It got busy with a couple of bachlorette parties but the layout still allowed our group to socially distance and feel comfortable being outside with just our trio. Try the yummy sangria, and the amazing french fries. However they fry them, they taste amazing. The house salsa is good too, like a smoked chipotle more than a traditional red. Very tasty!

We finished Saturday with room service and again zero complaints! Also, we found a record player with an assortment of records in our room upon returning from the pool (special delivery!) and OMG so cute! Nothing like knocking back room service to Chris Stapleton and Sam Cooke.

Before we left Sunday AM we headed back to the lobby cafe for more coffee and gushed over the Avacado Toast, which this is basically a flatbread, not a slice of toast. It's HUGE!

Thank you Bobby Hotel for a great experience! You made these momma's weekend!

Overall the stay was very nice. The location is very convenient to restaurants, bars, and shopping. Printers Alley is literally right by the hotel. The decor is very cool and the rooftop bar is awesome! They even have a house dog named Sasha and she walks around and greets the guest. She is so sweet! The food in the café is delicious but obviously pricey with it being a boutique hotel.
I do have a few cons though. We reserved a king standard room and in the room there was only one night stand which was not convenient for both my husband and I because we had to pile everything on one night stand and he did not even have an outlet by his bed to plug his phone in. With the price of the hotel (we paid $200 a night) we were also expecting a walk-in shower but there is just a tub but it did have a nice rain shower head. There were no coffee makers in the room so you had to go to the café to purchase coffee which was obviously expensive and it would’ve just been nice to have a Keurig coffee maker in the room for a simple cup of coffee. I also did not see an ice machine and they were no ice buckets in the room. That may have been due to Covid though? They also did not provide a laundry bag which I feel like is pretty standard. Last but not least, I may have just missed the fine print but I had no idea the valet is $45 per car per day. Crazy! Again, overall a good stay, but I would definitely look around at other options the next time I stay in Downtown Nashville.

I had absolutely no complaints. Sorry for the "clickbait" title.

My only one being that none of you folks in the review section mentioned being able to see into the bathroom. This made my platonic booking....a little awkward. The bed is stationed right next to the toilet which is walled by a very much still see through 'frosted' glass (or whatever) panel. I didn't really care but my poor travel partner was so shy they used the public bathrooms the entire time and didn't want to take a shower. In my defense, the bathroom photos are hidden pretty far down the picture queue.

Pros:
Location
Comfy beds
Clean, updated, modern
Cute dog roaming the hotel
Probably actually VERY romantic if you're not traveling platonically with someone you don't wanna see pooping. I would like taking my partner here!

My husband and I stayed at the Bobby for one night to celebrate his birthday, and we left feeling spoiled and well taken care of. The concierge made sure our room was ready with surprise champagne for my husband before we arrived, and we found all of the staff accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. The room felt comfortable and luxurious, and we loved our view overlooking the river, stadium, and 2nd Avenue (made even more spectacular by seeing the super moon rise as we got ready for dinner!). It is in a great location easily accessible by foot to all of downtown’s hot spots. We ended the evening on the roof with a nightcap by the fire surrounded by igloos! All in all, if we get the opportunity to stay in downtown Nashville again, we will be looking to book another night at the Bobby!

Bobby Hotel is located in downtown Nashville, short walk to Broadway. I wasn't really impressed with the lobby and the front desk area is not that big. When I arrived at 4pm, the gentleman who checked me in wasn't sure if the room is ready, and took 5 minutes to check. It's no big deal, but could have been better.

I really like the room. Very modern decor. Nice lighting, wall paper, cabinetry all very interesting looking. My room had a balcony with a decent view. Because it is the middle of winter, I didn't use it, but the balcony is quite large.

What I like but I think can be a problem for some people is the bathroom. The walls are frosted glass panels, with large circular mirror inside. This makes the room and bathroom look large and bright. But the bathroom wall is semi-transparent, so it doesn't have much privacy. Since I was here solo business, it worked perfectly.

The rooftop has a nice view. In winter, it has a number of "igloos" and cabins. There is a number of fire pits, and a heated pool.

All in all, I had a good experience and would come back.

I stayed here 2 years ago & it was awesome. Came back & was expecting same level of service...boy have things declined. My room was filthy (despite the claims of extra cleaning due to Covid. Upon arrival there was a layer of dust & some old toothpaste splatter on the glass walls in the bathroom. As well as shampoo residue in the shower and dried stains in the tile floor. The toilet tissue holder was also broken & parts were missing. ( Also, common areas like the pool had dirty glassware sitting for days)
I kindly reported these issues and asked if my room could get a thorough cleaning the next day. Nothing happened except the tissue holder was repaired. The room stayed filthy the whole week despite my request for daily service.

The most egregious event was the fact that (although they aren’t telling people) they were not offering real restaurant service. It was late when I arrived & I have Celiac so I have to eat gluten free. They could really only offer me a hamburger. There was no service & when my burger finally arrived it looked like it was on a regular bun. I had to go to the front desk to ask them for the manager. He comes back with a new burger and says” I guess u were right, my bad”(what manager says this?) & tries to run off. I tried to explain that this is a medical issue and they need to take these things more seriously. That this error could have made me really sick for days.

He then says, “ I don’t have to listen to this” and walks away. I have never experienced such horrible customer service. They claim they can make special meals for your dog, but a Celiac customer can not be accommodated.

I realize Covid has impacted the service industry, but as far as I know, I’m still paying full rate at the hotel. In understanding this I would not have even written a review (I have never written a negative review) but my attempts to get anyone higher up at this hotel to care was pointless...they just didn’t.

I loved everything about this hotel and the issues I encountered could have occurred at any location as personal/equipment reasons. Very cool theme and vintage/eclectic feel throughout the entire property. Booked a corner room and size was more than enough for two people. The issues I had during my stay: a/c in my room was not cooling correctly, had to inform front desk three times before someone came and he was of no use and certainly not an HVAC tech as since his digital reader was measuring correct temp, then all is well except room thermostat stated differently and air was not blowing at 47f as he sated. Last night were moved to another room which wasn't as nice. The one day I planned to spend at the pool (Saturday), it was closed so that wasn't possible and for how much they charge a night, would have expected a break in one nights room rate. Bartenders at roof top bar should be more friendly and made the worst Mojito I have ever been served. Location is great, close to many things to do off of Broadway so avoid all the crowds. Lobby bar fantastic, great bartenders with good recommendations inside and outside of the hotel. Definitely will go back when in Nashville, expect a little higher level of service at this price, but understand staffing challenges with the Post Covid economy and everyone doing the best they can under trying circumstances.

This was an amazing boutique hotel close to Broadway in Nashville. The location is excellent as it is 3 blocks from Broadway, so far enough from the crowds and noise, but close enough to walk there. I rarely stay in a "chain" hotel, preferring to book boutique hotels or smaller hotels. This hotel was a gem and a great find. It felt hip and trendy. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant our first night and it rivaled any of the restaurants we ate at while there. The rooms were large and spacious, the hallways were extra wide, the rooms had a unique design to them, as did the lobby. There was also a "hotel dog" in lobby named Sasha. They told me she was a rescue dog they found with a litter of pups. They found homes for the pups and her new home is the Bobby Hotel. She was sweet and well behaved. There was a very fun rooftop bar with a pool, and also another bar in the basement called Bobby's Garage which dumps into Printer's Alley. I will refer everyone I know to this hotel and will definitely be back for another visit. Spend a bit more money here and treat yourself. It's worth it!

I absolutely adored this hotel! The ambiance and decor was artsy and charming. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was spacious. I appreciated the complimentary bottles of water that were replenished on a daily basis. The rooftop bar was lovely as well - they still had the igloo setup for the chillier evenings and the bus was a hit. Would spend more nights here if I had the chance!
