This is an older hotel that needs a little cosmetic work, but it was very clean which is extremely important to me. They provide a really good hot breakfast with eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy. The bed was comfortable, the linens were clean. We slept well, and the water pressure was fantastic! One of the best showers of my life. I would stay here again.

Comfortable spacious room for a good price. Because it was a suite, the beds were further from the hall door and it was quiet. Somewhat uninterested, cold check-in person but a welcoming checkout person. The breakfast area looked welcoming and spacious.

My family and I were making a trip to Nashville for a family vacation. I chose this hotel as it was fairly close to downtown (although it ended up being further than we thought) and because the hotel had a pool. When we arrived, we realized the hotel was not located in the best area and there were homeless people right down the road so we did not feel comfortable letting our teenagers walk around the area. As I mentioned, we specifically booked this hotel for the pool and I made sure to ask if it was open while booking the trip, however when we arrived the pool was "temporarily closed," which made for a boring first day as we had planned for the kids to swim while we took a nap after driving 9+ hours. The next day the pool opened up later on in the afternoon/evening but was extremely cold so the kids didn't even want to play in it. We asked if there was any way to make it warmer and was told there wasn't. We ended up checking out a day early and were told we would get a credit to our account for the last night, and was even provided a statement which showed the credit. After a few weeks, I never received the credit so I called back to check on it and was told that the lady that checked us out was wrong and we would not be getting a credit and that there was nothing they could do. She also conveniently left off the "checked out date" and "checked out by" blank on my statement, which I didn't realize until later. We were extremely unsatisfied with our stay and will not be booking with Comfort Suites again.

This is the standard American hotel chain room - with two exceptions. On the plus side our room (different room configurations) added a sofa and light, which gave us a place to read or avoid having to use the bed as a sorting/organizing area. On the negative side, and a big negative ... the thermostat is unfathomable. It uses the Celsius scale as if we were in Europe. Get your smartphone out to convert Celsius to Fahrenheit. And it uses icons, not words, for you to decipher for fan, heat, cool, auto or whatever. I asked the front desk for help, they knew nothing. They called their maintenance guy, who also knew nothing. He asked the assistant manager, who fooled around with it a bit and gave up. No one in the hotel knew how to work the thermostat. Maybe it would be a good idea for someone to figure it out and have a handout to give to each guest as they check in! Each side of the bed had nice night lights that did not blind a partner when you wanted to check on something in the middle of the night. They also made a good breakfast available, one upping all the other chains that are still COVID hiding this expense and effort.

This hotel is SHADY and should be AVOIDED. Read all recent reviews thoroughly. This hotel was grossly misrepresented on Hotels.com. I was in a bind and needed a last minute room to fly out the next morning. On the site, this place looked legit and safe. Not the case. Seedy area. Upon arrival, was given a room on the 4th floor. The sofa in the room had food smeared all over it. One light was out and as I went to the second nightstand for a light, I realized there was a puddle of water. When I looked up, the ceiling was leaking (big leak, not new). Additionally, I realized all sprinklers were covered in plastic shopping bags with rubber bands. Room also smelled like heavy cigarette smoke. Kindly asked for a room switch. Second room was on the 2nd floor and was just as bad. Sofa had crusty food & crumbs all over it. One side of the curtain rod was broken and curtains were hanging down to the floor. Hallway outside of the room with black mold and heavy water damage. Ultimately called another hotel, booked a room and left. Contacted Hotels.com for a refund and hotel owner DENIED, despite having only been on the premises for 45 mins and obvious problems on their end. No chance this hotel meets codes. Shame on this hotel owner for pocketing my money and shame on Hotels.com for misleading guests.

We've stayed at many places over the years and this was not one of our better places. The best thing about the stay, was the front desk staff, especially the person that checked us in; she was phenomenal! The hotel honored my request for a ground floor, so that was good. The bed had plenty of pillows and a very firm mattress - so if you like a firm mattress, you're in luck. When walking into our room, we were met by a very unpleasant odor, but over time it was a little less noticeable, and there was a little trash on the floor, in one area, that was missed by housekeeping. The hotel is an older hotel, and because of that, some of the paint, floors, walls, and fixtures show some definite wear and tear; some money should be invested in paint and upkeep; it would be a tax writeoff so it could be updated. Another very big negative, if you're traveling with clothes that need to be hung up; I had a King Suite with No Place in the room, to hang our clothes. We were traveling for a 4-day conference and had to improvise for all our hanging clothes. We were told no hot breakfast due to Covid, but there was Belgian waffles you could make, muffins you could get yourself, and most Covid restrictions have been lifted in that area, so I think that was an excuse to save money. The hotel page says hot breakfast and if it's not going to be made there should be a price offset. All in all, it wasn't a very bad hotel, but it wasn't one I would go out of my way to stay at again.

Choice hotels are not Hilton's, Marriott's, or Hyatt's. They are nearly always older, a bit rundown, and past their former glory. But they are also normally clean and well managed with mostly good staff. And they ALWAYS have their signature beds which are SO comfortable! For those reasons I still like to stay with them from time to time. At this hotel the staff were generally good, beds super comfy, and the property generally clean and well managed. Stayed 5 nights and slept well every night. I wanted to love this place, and did the first couple of days, but then some issues started to occur. The microwave was problematic. The Internet connection would go slow, disconnect, or force logout too often (a big problem when working remotely…). The breakfast was very minimal, even more so than the (Covid) norm these days. Maintenance could have been better, but it could have been a lot worse too… Despite those issues, I still would stay here again if the price was reasonable, as it certainly was this visit. I like the management’s efforts to keep the hotel clean and comfortable. And though a bit worn, the room was comfortable. Had a newer large screen TV with a great movie channel selection, which was nice since I watched movies in the evenings. Was peaceful most of the time due to good quality patrons. The location is convenient and very easy to access from Interstate. And did I mention the beds?? Wanted to take the mattress home with me! 😉

The hotel was very quiet with comfortable beds. Rooms were mostly clean. Everything appeared super clean until I pulled out sofa bed. It was very dirty underneath sofa. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast. Staff was friendly.

Had been planning out my hotel since about February as I had purchased my King Crimson tickets at the start of the year. I decided I’d rather be closer to Downtown than completely out of the way. I was hoping I could find an affordable hotel with a bar but decided on this hotel as there was a bar right behind the hotel (Rebar at The Dam) I got a good rate through my company and paid a pretty fair price. Checking in was a breeze. Venus at the desk was hilarious and really friendly. Upon inspecting the room the microwave was fried (beeping on its own) I finally got it to stop wasn’t planning on using it anyway. The fridge worked fine but took awhile to cool my drinks nonetheless everything was cold once I got back from the show. The room itself was clean. Mattress and linens were clean. The window side lamps weren’t working but I wasn’t too worried about it. The room had plenty of lighting already. The couch was comfy enough but I mostly sat at the desk. After getting everything settled I decided to relax and enjoy the pool before the show. The indoor heated pool was very clean and warm but the room was incredibly noisy. There was a loud mechanical knocking noise reverberated across the pool area accompanied by an oily odor which was fairly off putting. The bathroom seriously needed some work. The mirror had not been wiped down in a long time the tub looked to be permanently stained with something brown (dirt likely) but the water pressure in the shower was fine. The bed was comfortable so I had a great nights sleep. Breakfast the next morning was okay food was average in quality but the breakfast area SERIOUSLY lacked in seating. Coffee was weak (this hotel uses one of those push button machines found in most Choice hotels and it NEVER gets it strong enough) Overall not the best Comfort Suites I’ve been too but average for the price I paid. If you’re booking here expecting something like Fairfield Inn or Hampton look elsewhere. But if you’re looking for a basic hotel that’s clean enough and okay for the night. I highly recommend!
