We tried the Fairfield when we last stayed in Nashville nearby that hotel was more expensive. Well we made a mistake. Our sheets were stained I can see others on this site had similar issue. The staff did change them and I learned they can’t use bleach on sheets per policy. Our toilet whistles every time we flush and it was slow. Shower curtain rod had a screw not in all the way when I shut the curtain I did cut my finger. It was just a bad time in general. Breakfast bar was ok.

Good clean rooms that are decently sized. Good amount of parking available. Very close by to the Opry, and not too far away from downtown Nashville, so made for an easy drive in to downtown attractions. Service was very good and front desk woman was very kind. Hairdryer in our room was broken and they replaced it immediately. Great water pressure in bathroom.

I have stayed at this Fairfield location several times each year since it has opened. Overall, the visits have been good, no issues. This time was no exception. I arrived a little early and was able to check in. The room was clean and no issues with the bathroom. The breakfast area was clean and well maintained. Staff was overall nice and pleasant. Outside was clean and was happy to see that the backdoor entrance was finally fixed. The General Manager, Candace, does an excellent job maintaining this facility and offering a great guest experience.

My parents and I checked in Sunday afternoon for a quick stay. The front desk staff lady Teresia was amazing and very knowledgeable about the area. The lobby was clean, the room was very clean a little warm at first. Breakfast was good the bagel sandwich and mini quiche was tasty. Then our quiet peaceful breakfast turned awkward. Someone began beating on the door trying to get in. The breakfast lady walked to the door to let the person and a young man in but when the lady entered her choice of words was disrespectful to the breakfast lady who let her in. When she entered she called the lady who let her in a “stupid b****” I thought to myself why would she call her that? A few moments later I noticed that same lady was working at the front desk. Before heading to our room I went to the food area to get my parents some fruit and yogurts. The same lady with the potty mouth was in the food area talking on her phone, her language was not professional. I asked her if there was a manager on duty and she said she was the Supervisor. At that moment I was happy that we did not have to deal with her when we arrived Sunday afternoon. We would have found another location. A special thanks to Teresia for making our stay at your hotel pleasant and peaceful.

Let me start by saying the staff deserves 5 stars. They were courteous, polite, and professional. However, when we first walked in the room, we noticed finger smudges on the mirror. There were also cobwebs by the curtains. The shower curtain was too short for the shower, and we ended up with a flood behind the toilet.. We later found out, only 1 of our keys worked. This was quickly resolved by the front desk. Housekeeping took our old towels, but didn't leave us clean ones. Again, handled fairly quickly by staff.. The breakfast was good. On the weekends there was pork and turkey sausages, and scrambled eggs. On Monday there was prepackaged quiche and sandwiches. Both also had waffles, cereal, muffins, breads, milk, etc. Had an issue with the maple syrup on Monday, but staff quickly addressed situation. Extremely quiet, didn't hear door slams or kids running up and down the hall. Overall, a decent hotel, just need to work on some cleaning details.

I stayed here for 5 nights and was very happy with the comfortable bed, aircon and quietness of my room. The breakfast was also good. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to the Gaylord Opryland and mall next door and there are various restaurants and some shops nearby. The hotel was comparatively cheaper than many others in Nashville and there doesn't seem much difference between them all.

Stayed here for one night, and would not stay again for the price we paid. This is listed as a Marriott category 4 hotel and it is definitely not! The beds are comfortable and they did give us a top floor room (which is what we asked for). But, they are older rooms, no fridge, a tiny coffee pot maker, old furniture (with dust on it) and a small bathroom. The breakfast was not good (and how do you mess up coffee?) and the staff at the breakfast area are very unprofessional. Lol, we were scolded for getting our breakfast 5 minutes early! Her comment was "the sausage isn't ready yet, we start breakfast late on Sunday to give it time to warm up." Lol, What? 5 more minutes wouldn't have made the sausage any warmer, as it was still very, very cold. (Breakfast on Sunday is at 7am). I would definitely look for someone else to stay, as the price you pay for this hotel (a Marriott Category 4) is not worth it!

As I have written previously, I have stayed at this Fairfield location since it opened as I am a Marriott Gold member and it is close to the Grand Ole Opry, thus very convenient. When I last stayed here in July I noted that it was not the best experience as the property was showing its age and the customer service was lacking. On this most recent visit, I did see improvement. While the facility is still looking its age, it was clean and in much better shape than previously. Also, there were different individuals working the front desk and they were much friendlier. I know hiring good staff is difficult right now, but I was pleased to see some personality from those working the front desk. My room was clean and in good shape and I appreciated the upgrade, even while not asking for it. Hopefully the trend continues. I will add that it was the typical Marriott breakfast and that area was clean and well maintained. Overall, nice improvement and I hope it continues.

I felt compelled to discuss our overnight stay at the Fairfield Inn at Opryland Hotel. During the night an altercation happened in a nearby room, my fiance and I had just arrived back to our room getting ready to wind down when we heard the manager in a screaming match with some people in a room close by. I cracked the door open to see what was going on and one of the ladies that was talking loud said she was the manager, THE MANAGER? wearing PAJAMAS? (UNPROFESSIONAL) the language she was using was UNPROFESSIONAL! To make matters worse she complained that she had just left work and had to get out of her bed to assist her front desk agent she also stated how she hates to be disturbed because she had to be back at work in a few hours. The other lady who worked there was standing with her looked like she was stoned so it makes sense that she needed help with the altercation. No matter what type of situation was going on, the language, the pajamas being worn (no matter how late it was) and disturbing the people who might have been asleep in various rooms nearby was UNPROFESSIONAL! That entire ordeal was unnecessary and unprofessional. The couple that was in that room was eventually kicked out by a security guard. In my opinion, the situation was not that serious for them to be removed from the hotel. That could have been handled differently if the hotel clerk was not stoned.

Dear kimberlydA3863YL, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback from your stay with us at the Fairfield Inn at Opryland. I want to first off give my apologies for the experience that you had that evening. The employee that was on property was not the property manager and has been addressed regarding the way the situation with the guest who was removed from property was handled. We have taken steps and measures with our evening staff and security to ensure that procedures we have set in place are followed in order to address situations such as these in a calm professional manner. Please reach out to me at the property if you have questions or further concerns. Thank you so much for staying with us and we hope to see you again if your travels bring you back to Nashville.

Wonderful staff. Each time I encountered staff, they were friendly & asked if there was anything I needed. My daughter and I like many pillows when we sleep. This was accommodated for us and we were given four additional pillows. Perfect spot. Many restaurants close. One particular spot I would recommend was Semper sliders. Wonderful burgers full of taste, the loaded tater tots were awesome! The pool was refreshing for my daughter! Im glad there were towels in the swim area as we forgot to grab ours. The breakfast offered many choices! Would stay here again!
