Let's start with the positive things. The location is excellent - just off the Manly beach. The ladies at reception were also friendly and chatty enough. And even though i arrived ahead of the agreed time, my room had already been cleaned and I could go straight up. Now, what about the rest? Well, the room itself was functional. There was a large, comfortable bed and a small desk with two plastic chairs. The WiFi worked and there was a kettle and a few tea bags and sachets of instant coffee. The bathroom was miniscule, and I think that the washbasin was the smallest that I have ever encountered. At least I could use the walk-in shower with one of those old-fashioned shower curtains. There were very few sockets for the various electrical equipment that the modern traveler carries around with them nowadays. And there was an old-fashioned ceiling fan to complement an air conditioning system that I found lacking. All in all, I suppose this was OK for a couple of days maximum But, paradise? Not really... …
The location of these apartments is truly paradise! The view from the apartment was stunning and the apartment itself was so clean, spacious and comfortable. But over and above all that is the hosptiality of the staff. From the manager to the wonderful women at reception to the cleaners and room service team - everyone in this place was so helpful. The reception team were outstanding in their support and their friendly service. It really is a paradise in every way! Thank you all Monica
The location is amazing right across the road from the beach and we had an amazing view from our room. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We paid an extra $25 per night for parking that was in a council car park just around the corner. Our room was small but we had a bar fridge, sink, microwave and coffee making. Our only issue was our mattress was very bouncy but otherwise no complaints and we would definitely stay here again!
We made a last minute decision to visit Manly with our six month old. The location is perfect with the beach quite literally at your doorstep as well as the Manly Corso for lots of dining options. The ladies at reception were so lovely and helpful. And they had kindly set up a crib at our request. The rooms are tidy and the microwave was a lifesaver for us! For people like us who really only needed somewhere to sleep - it was perfect. The only downside was the road work being conducted ALL night at no fault of the hotel of course. Extremely loud and difficult to get sleep so if you’re a light sleeper take earplugs.
Fabulous service, location and just perfect for what I needed on a work trip. These apartments are comfortable, clean and right on the beach. I will be back again and now have a new place to stay when away with work. Love the fact that I can eat with cutlery when getting takeaway!
Stayed for 4 nights over Easter and loved this Motel. Right on the Esplanade opposite corner to the Novotel. Elizabeth, Debbie and Heather were very pleasant and helpful on the reception desk. We were in room 317 and it was perfect for us. Little kitchenette with microwave, Kettle, toastie grill and bar fridge. Crockery, Cutlery and glassware. Room was serviced daily and all Staff encountered were very happy in their work. Highly recommended and we have rebooked for Christmas.
We stayed last weekend at Paradise Manly. The room was really small, bathroom was tiny. Also there is no facilities to dry your clothes. The staff is friendly, the motel is cosy, nice view. Overall, good experience but I had more expectations according to the pictures.
my husband and I stayed at Manly Paradise Motel & apartments this week. The location right on the beach was amazing. We stayed in a large beach view double, motel room. the room was spacious, spotless, with amazing views. Even though it was billed as a side beach view, you could see plenty of the beach, and people watch from the two large windows in the room. the walk in shower was also a plus. plenty of cupboard space, fox tv, microwave in kitchen area. The staff at reception were also wonderful, nothing a problem for them. Was easy to find and we used the motel underground parking area ( yes it was $25 nite) but well worth it. We stayed during week nights, so no noise from street, we enjoyed every moment of our stay. Plus a bonus right next door is the Darna, Restaurant & Bar, by Out Of Afica. Omg, the food was amazing, ambience and decor lovely, and the staff amazing. Don't miss it,…
We stayed in a two bedroom apartment on the third floor assuming being high up the noise would be minimal. Unfortunately we had serious problems with outside noise every night lasting up to 3.00am! There is a back alley to the apartments and seemed to be a cut through for revellers and the noise was constant from 11pm onwards. Staff helpful despite lots of problems during our stay including out of order lift and flooded underground carpark. Poor wifi connection. Apartments ok,comfortable bed, bit dated bathrooms etc but good location apart from the noise e very evening!
Having stayed at the Manly Paradise several times over the years, including in February 2018, I was delighted to spend more time there from December 7 to 23, 2019, after the long journey from Canada. My stay was thoroughly enjoyable and the Manly Paradise lived up to all my fond memories of it. The Manly Paradise has an ideal location right by Manly Beach and close to the Corso. Also, the Manly Paradise is a short and pleasant walk from the Manly Ferry Wharf. The rooftop pool, with its beautiful view of the beachfront and across the sea to Shelly Beach, is a lovely place to relax. I loved the room I was assigned. It had a useful kitchenette and the supply of tea and coffee was never allowed to run out. The bedroom and bathroom were kept spotless by the very pleasant staff members. The women in charge of the reception area were very personable and I would like to especially thank Elizabeth and Heather who were exceptionally hospitable. My son and his family were with me in Sydney on this trip and thoroughly enjoyed their stay in the Manly Paradise apartments which adjoin the main building. I look forward to returning for yet another wonderful stay at the Manly Paradise.…
