Stylish room with huge bath and integrated steam room. Excellent dinner and good breakfast options. The bar is sweet and the setting amazing. Don’t miss the home farm/veg patch. Wish we’d stayed more nights.

This was the last stop on our honeymoon staycation and boy, it did not disappoint! We stayed in the Treehouse for our first night and then a Feature room the next and they each had their own unique charm! Finding the entrance was a little confusing but once we got there, the staff were all extremely lovely and welcoming! The food was INCREDIBLE! We planned to only eat in one night but loved it so much we couldnt wait for dinner on the second night. The grounds and mountains round Balquhidder are perfect for exploring before heading back to this gorgeous boutique hotel for a cosy evening.

We stayed this weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We obviously love this place to get married here and our weekend was really perfect, friends had organised champagne and treats in our room which had been coordinated by the hotel as had flowers from my husband. The service was brilliant, the staff are all so friendly and make you feel at home. Our meal was amazing - the beef main was incredible. The breakfasts are also the best at this hotel that I’ve ever had. Thanks again

We booked a short break to stay in the Ferry Waiting Room located at Mohr Hotel, Scotland. We experienced difficulty getting the wood stove to light when we arrived which was frustrating as we told it would be lit upon arrival. Over the course of the next 24 hours the weather worsened and we need to warm the children up & dry wet clothes. We asked for assistance as the wood provided was damp & treated posts etc from the estate which is unsafe to burn in a wood stove. No help was given. Soon, black suffocating smoke began billowing into the bothy, setting the carbon monoxide detector off. Despite asking for assistance, none was given and over an hour later, the alarm was still going and we worried about our children’s well-being with the intensity of it all. Had a brief interaction with 1 of the owners who threw some wood at us and told us to start again. With night falling soon we decided to pack up and leave for safety. No follow up from hotel despite complaints. Awful experience.

We stopped for afternoon tea here yesterday and the whole day/experience was amazing. We were greeted and looked after by the lovely Ian, who was outstanding. We sat outside and were in awe of the natural beauty and character owner Tom that stopped by! What a hoot! Best steak sandwich and scones we’ve ever had- we ordered two more!! Huge thanks to Tom and what an asset Ian is too, felt the whole day was a wonderful experience and setting and can’t wait to come back and stay next time! 10/10 outstanding by Ian, the chefs and the whole team- loved it- you made our staycay!
