This is a lovely hotel to stay in right in the centre of Kirriemuir. The food was delicious and the best chips ever! They also accommodated our little dog, which was lovely. The staff were really helpful and friendly. I would definitely go back again to stay next time we are in the area. Kirriemuir is also a lovely little town with a great walk through the park to the waterfall.

We stopped in without a booking and staff were able to accommodate and offer us a table on a Saturday night. The staff were fantastic and so attentive. Prompt in taking orders and ensuring drinks were topped up. We could overhear the staff doing regular run downs of each of the tables and it worked so well to ensure everyone in the restaurant was being taken care off… on top of them training a new member of staff as well. They were all super friendly and a lovely atmosphere in the place. Good hearty food with large main course portions that we couldn’t finish. Would highly recommend.

You get what you pay for . The hotel is clean as well as the room . The room was suitable and a nice size . The facilities are fine and the location good . The staff were very pleasant and their service professional . All the COVID regulations were adhered to . Unfortunately no on-site parking but some a short distance away .

I arrived last night and it was torrential rain. Once I found somewhere to park I bundled myself, my 1yo daughter and about 5 bags through the hotel door to be treated amazingly. I was incredibly stressed given the situation and they staff were so so helpful. They helped me to my room and organised room service for my daughter and I to relax in our room and wait for my husband to come in from the wedding we were attending. As a stressed mum, this help meant the world, so a huge huge thank you. The room and bathroom were fantastic. Perfectly clean and tidy, with all the facilities we could need, including an extra blanket for the cot bed as they thought it would be too hard! Again huge thank you. My husband arrived after hours but was let in and shown to our room. Breakfast was delicious and the service was fantastic. We had so many spinning plates this weekend due to childcare and wedding, it was also our first hotel stay with our little girl. The staff were amazing and incredibly helpful. The whole experience went from highly stressful to easy with a little help and support from the staff. Genuinely a wonderful hotel and delighted to highly recommend it.

Met a friend here for lunch - never been before. Great selection on menu Decided to have a baked potato with prawns - best baked potato I’ve had in ages. Service was very good & didn’t have long to wait. Very reasonable priced too Will definitely be back to try more of their menu !!
