We had a small private room at a reasonable price. There were other shared rooms in the building. The facilities were great with bedding and wifi included. A good stop on the NC500 especially considering it was out of season.

Had originally planned on camping in Durness, however, the weather had other ideas! Phoned the hostel in the hope of finding somewhere to stay. Friendly staff and a cosy, well equipped hostel in a nice location. Would recommend.

We used this bunkhouse for a hillwalking group weekend. Although it sleeps 20, it lacks space and equipment to eat together as a group. The seating/dining area has one table seating 12. We had to supplement the cutlery with plastic knives, there were an assortment...More

I am really very disappointed with this review. The bunkhouse sleeps 20 persons and we acknowledge that space is tight if 20 persons wish to dine together but there is equipment (granted except for wine glasses) for 20 persons. The bathroom doors do lock so...More
