Marina (the owner) and her staff, gave me and my family (6 of us) a very warm welcome. The rooms, although basic are very comfortable. We had 2 disabled individuals, one of which is in his late 70's and they found the place very easy to get around and both were given ground floor rooms to accomodate their disabilities. The breakfast meal is a must with a different 'special' every day, I would highly recommend their pancake with apple sauce, the smoked salmon with scrambled eggs, oh and the poached eggs on toast. They had something to cater for everyone. I would highly recommend this B&B for anyone who wants to stay in St Helier, Jersey. Close to the beach and the town, it makes the ideal place for anyone who wants to explore.

We loved the fairholme in St Helier. Rooms are not very big but hey... It's only to rest! By the way our room was big enough so no complaining at all. Breakfast was very good and every day a "chefs special". Never seen that before in a b&b. It is a short walk to the centre of st Helier, but that is no problem at all. Every evening there were plenty restaurants to choose. And off course our last meal on the Island at Hectors fish and chips. We left in the morning before breakfast time but got some really nice sandwiches for on the boat. We loved this place!

We visited the Fairholme on 16th June for three nights. Before we left we had a surprise visit from a friend from Australia. We rang and asked if she could be accommodated on our booking and Marina rapidly replied that this was possible. We arrived at 8.30 am and our room was almost ready for us. We were warmly greeted by David and Marina. The room was perfect for three of us to share. It was bright, sunny and clean. The beds were comfortable and the facilities excellent. Breakfast was always hot and the service excellent. We were mad to feel very welcome and would recommend this guest house, it is well situated close to the town and beach. Well done Marina and David. When we re visit Jersey we will definetly come back. Thank you for making our stay that big extra.

Have just returned from a 10 night stay. As usual everything was good. A nice clean room & good service. If you need to know about travel, Marina will help you plan. Very well located, close to town & bus stops Have no reason not to return.

Clean, friendly, good breakfasts, good prices.Stayed with my son in early October, both felt comfortable and welcome. Position is quite good with a carpark in the next street, general store in the same street as well as a very good little restaurant. The WiFi is available in the guest lounge etc, not so much in the rooms. Stayed at the Grand earlier in the year, much preferred Fairholme Guesthouse.

We first stayed here back in 2000. Having taken a like to Jersey, we have returned most years. Marina & her father David always give a warm welcome. It is very handy for the town, about 10 mins. walk. The other advantage is a bus at the bottom of the road, both to St.Helier or Gorey. The rooms are always clean & well presented. Breakfast is very good, with a daily special. I must admit the Jersey breakfast is really good & will set you up for the day. Marina will help you plan your day, she will tell you how to get to places of interest. We have no reason not to want to keep returning to this B & B. Ian & Caroline Ward.

I enjoyed my stay for a week there very much on the upper floor/under the roof. It is an old classical English-style building with twisted aisles, steps (no lift), a large living room area (lots of books provided), a small patio, everything a bit old with smaller repairs needed - but charming (and clean). For breakfast you can choose the large Jersey Breakfast with sausage etc. or several other plates, added by as much muesli and/or toast and/or fruits as you like. You get served and have linen napkins and will be stuffed till afternoon tea. No modern sterile atmosphere but a warm welcome and rather cream-coloured interior. The host Marina will be there and helps you with lots of brochures (you don't need to go to the tourist office) and tips and is really lovely. The rooms are large enough but not large, cupboards, water heater and tea/coffee/milk, fan, hair dryer, good lights, soft mattresses, lots of pillows. Some more facts: bus station for bus no. 1 just 30 metres away as is the sea. By foot to the central bus station it is takes you about 15 min., if you use the tunnel. Otherwise it will be 6 min. more. From there all the busses go to the island's corners and to the airport (bus no. 15, ca. 40 min drive). The bus station is in the middle of town. You can easily walk into town. Several restaurants close by (it is an area of hotels and guest houses). Relatively quiet street with few cars, some rooms are to the back and very silent. Grocery stores and supermarket all very close as is the nice Howard Davis park (rose garden recommended).

We stayed here as part of a group booking in for a wedding. We had a lovely double room at the back of the house on first floor we did not have a view but we expected that as it was a town location. The room was clean and spacious with well stocked tea tray. Bathroom was compact but usable and had complimentary shower gel and shampoo! Breakfast was the best thing about this stay a vary wide choice including kippers ( what a treat we never have those at home!!) There was also a daily special which on one of the days was pancakes so if a traditional full breakfast is not your thing then this GH has a few alternative options which really suits us. Great location probably 5 or 10 minutes walk up to the centre of the town a little mini supermarket just up the road and a few restaurants close by. The hosts were very friendly offering advise on places to visit and ordering taxis providing irons and generally making us feel welcome! On last day we had to leave at ridiculous o clock for tthe first flight and they gave us a packed breakfast to go which we had not expected but it was appreciated as the airport cafe in jersey did not look appetising at all. Yes I would recommend this place for a B&B stay in jersey we are actually going to go back next summer with the kids as we had a look at the family room and it would work for us.

Lovely B&B, close to the sea front and only 10 mins walk from Liberation Bus Station. Very clean and tidy rooms. Lots of communal space so you're not always in your room. Lovely breakfasts with a good choice, together with a 'special of the day'!
