Good hotel

Stayed at his hotel 3 times and going again in April. Lovely staff, spotlessly clean and very good food. It is only 10 mins walk into town and its all flat no hills to walk. The hotel as entertainment a couple of nights a week in April proberly more in summer

Liked the Hotel, Food a Challenge

Lovedmy recent visit to the Mayfair. Great location, comfortable lounge, bedroom spacious, clean and tidy. Warm rooms, sound-proofed, clean and a good size bathroom. Water was not exactly hot in shower.Dining room was a disappointment, to say the least.

Are the rooms disabled friendly e.g. walk in shower and handrails

Hello. We actually stayed in a suite because all the other rooms were booked. It wasn't disabled friendly. A bath with a shower over. And there were stairs and quite a long walk to get to it. But I am sure they will have disabled friendly rooms if you ask. Nice hotel. A bit dated but nice nevertheless.

Never been to Jersey, is there public transport or are you better hiring a car

As I recall you have to go into the bus station in St Helier, then get a bus out to your destination. There is no "round the island" route. We stayed in St Helier with a bus stop just outside the hotel. We got the bus down to the station, then another bus to our chosen destination. If you are using the bus to get around it's worth investigating a "3 day" or "7 day" pass from the bus station, as the £2 per journey can quickly mount up to £8+ per person per day. Also I was told parking was a nightmare!

Do any of the rooms have just a shower rather than having to climb in to the bath for disabled guests?

Sorry, both my friend and I had showers over the bath in our rooms. Suggest you ask the hotel whether they have rooms with disabled facilities.

Hi We have booked a weeks stay next year but do not have to be back to the airport for our return flight until the middle of the afternoon. Check out is 10am, will the hotel be able to hold our luggage for us until it's time for our transport back to the airport? Thank you
