Yes, if you come out onto the road by the sea, turn left and walk a few yards down, there is an entrance to the sandy beach. There is a cafe, shop and pub right by it with a seating area. There is also a swimming pool by the sea too, you just turn right, as if going towards the restaurants and head to the pier. The entrance is just at the bottom. If you keep walking down the road by the sea, there are lots of areas to enjoy the sea and beach but they were the parts that stood out to us. I hope that helps

"Rooms at the back will be quiter. There was a lot of noise from outside (people on the street, cars, etc) and in the hotel (noisy guests)."
"ask for a low floor as there are many stairs if not very mobile"
