We placed a colleague at the Sandranne Hotel whilst he was working in the Island and he is delighted. This type of traditional hotel is sadly becoming rare. Fantastic price which included breakfast and, as he was working, they gave him packed breakfast to take to work every morning. Spotlessly clean, warm, everything you need. Personal service, you get the same person on reception all the time so you get to know them. We would not hesitate to recommend the Sandranne for business or pleasure.

stay was a bit hit and miss, owners were friendly enough but felt it was forced sometimes. Rooms were dated as we expected this didn't bother us but what did was the noise from other rooms, One guest had the TV on all night for our whole stay. Doors slamming constantly Also rooms are extremely hot and beds are very uncomfortable. Rooms let out to contract labourers so not really a holiday hotel in my view. Bathroom set up is an accident waiting to happen. Shower screen is jammed in place so to reach the taps to have a bath you have to go into the bath put the plug in then turn the water on then quickly get out,Hotel location is good and breakfast was excellent and sufficient but there are too many negatives in my opinion.

Only here for a week but it flew by. One word describes the hotel - surprised. The room we had was 70's furnished decor wise but spotlessly clean and very well appointed, fridge, comfort station, etc etc. Welcome included a large bowl of fruit and a delightful vase of fresh roses. The staff can't do enough to make your stay memorable, arrange trips etc. Breakfast is well sized, big English if you are hungry. Would go back without hesitation. Thanks Sue, Poppa and team.

Room was very comfortable and had all facilities. Breakfast was very nice and plenty of it! Thank you for letting me keep my room on later than checkout time. This was very kind of you. Would definitely recommend!

We decided to stay at this Hotel on our trip to Jersey as it was close to all the places we wanted to go. It was clean and tidy and very friendly and also very quiet in the night and we slept so so well.

Last wrote a review in 2016. Have been coming to Hotel Sandranne since 2000 and have made friends with many others who also have been coming for many years. The staff are excellent and nothing is too much trouble. The food is excellent, the decor is dated but gives a homely atmosphere. If you want disco's, gyms or saunas then Sandranne is not for you. If you want a good friendly hotel then you can't go wrong. The owner Alan is always on hand and we have seen his daughter Pippa's family grow up and are made to feel part of the family. You are a name and not a room number at this hotel.

I had visited Jersey previously a couple of times, the first time when I was 17 and then around 9 years ago. I stayed in St. Helier both times so kinda knew what to expect. When I arrived in to the bus station I couldn't believe all the large finance buildings which had taken my memories away. I arrived at the Sandranne and Sue showed me to my room which thankfully was not a tiny little solo room which I have had in the past else where. The breakfast in the morning was excellent, Sue again asking you what you want. I went to the bar on an evening but unfortunately there was no one in there, Eileen behind the bar was lovely and introduced me to Alan the owner who was a complete gentleman. He even gave me a lift to another hotel where he said I would find entertainment. On the day of my departure he gave me a lift to the bus station. Such lovely friendly people, yes the hotel is a little tired but I will return because of the hospitality shown to me. Thank you Sandranne for my little holiday. Elaine.

10/10 from Sandranne. I received a fabulous welcome and shown to my room. The receptionist was knowledge about places to visit including sue places to swim in the sea. I appreciated the fruit basket on the receptob desk and certainly helped myself a few times to the free fresh fruit. My room was spacious and was a triple even though I was on my own. It was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fab. Very generous in size and with lots of choice. The hotel is a short walk from the main town and sea. This hotel represents excellent value for money - it might be a little dated but I paid hardly nothing for a fabulous room and experience.

Just a 10 minute walk to the town centre or waterfront. We had a spacious room with ample storage, fridge, microwave oven, TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Comfy beds, en suite with bath and shower. Each morning we had a lovely breakfast consisting of a buffet of fruits, juices, cereals, salad, meats, cheeses, bread rolls and pastries followed by a cooked breakfast (full English or eggs as you like them or a fish option). There was fresh fruit in reception and a lift to the upper floors. It was friendly and welcoming, clean and comfortable - we couldn't ask for more. Thanks to the staff for a wonderful stay.
