This was my third visit to Maison Chaussey and this time travelled with a friend. We booked a single and a double room which were both comfortable and clean and excellent value. Paul and Steve are great hosts and Pauls breakfasts are exceptional. Quality sausages bacon and black pudding mushrooms and more make it one of the best breakfasts I've eaten in any hotel or guest house. The dining room looks out to sea and its a great way to start the day. The dining room becomes" Drifters Restaurant"in the evening and rightly deserves its reputation as one the best restaurants on the island. We were able to get a reservation on our first night but it is very popular among the locals and booking is strongly advised. Steve is the chef and is assisted by Paul and Linda . The service is great and everything on the menu is a treat. The location is good with buses to town and Gorey, close by. It is an easy 12 minute walk into town or walk through the tunnel to the Bus Station. It is only £2 for any single bus journey including the airport. Thanks Paul and Steve for the great hospitality. I wish you well and best of luck for the future…

Excellent staff, great location, we had a really enjoyable stay. It is located right on the seafront and we booked the double superior with the terrace area it was lovely. Walking distance of the beach bus stops and town couldn’t ask for a better location. Very reasonably priced above an excellent restaurant Drifters below. Paul and the cleaning team were extremely polite accommodating and stopped to check in and chat with us regularly. Highly recommend!!

Stayed here with friends and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, no frills accommodation but the service is superb. Brilliant warm and friendly owner and staff and lovely breakfast. Drifters restaurant needs a mention too all in the same building, food is excellent, varied and well presented. Well done team, no doubt you’ll see us again...... thankyou

If you're looking to stay in a flash hotel then this isn't for you, but if you want a hotel with very friendly staff and gorgeous food in a great position by the sea then I couldn't recommend this hotel enough. Everyone we met couldn't do enough to help us. My wife being gluten intolerant was well catered for for breakfast. Drifters restaurant downstairs is well worthy of its TripAdvisor ratings and I highly recommend trying the steak and prawn salad, it was delicious. Thanks again Steve for a lovely stay and hopefully see you in the not too distant future, Richard and Elaine

The hotel is ideally placed just outside the Jersey Capital and in easy walking distance of it. The hotel is above a restaurant drifters, which some people may find noisy if they come back early but as we were on holiday it never affected us as we came back after most people were leaving. Now the three things that stopped it getting a five. 1 our room was forgotten about on one night and not made up. This was due to new staff and a mix up these things happen. 2. The room was a double but the bed is small for a double and we found the mattress a little hard but again that’s down to different tastes. 3. The room like most gust houses have tea and coffee making facilities in it they were sat on top of a fridge but if you see by the picture you have to put the kettle on the floor to actually use it. These things didn’t affect our holiday and the staff we came in contact with as we were out early until our last day seemed very friendly and obliging but I couldn’t give it a five on this occasion that’s all. …

This is a terrific guest house with many great features, first of which is its location on the promenade and close to the center of town. You really don’t need a car in Jersey and this place gives you options for lots of strolls and beach bars. But be sure to eat in! The proprietors offer a fantastic dinner menu, and breakfast is always great.

Lovely guesthouse with sea views over Havre de Pas. Paul is a great host. The rooms are spacious, with fridge and tea making facilities and spectacular views. Nothing beats waking up to the sound of the tide coming in and having a great breakfast overlooking the sea.

Comfy bed, clean and spacious en-suite. Fridge in room. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Great sea views from the restaurant and rear rooms. Food in the bistro is excellent, popular with locals and holidaymakers you need to pre-book a table.

for "value for money" the"Drifters" restaurant is second to non. Great food & wine and very friendly and knowledgable staff. Would reccomend it to to all. The view from the restaurant looks out over the Havre des Pas and on a summer's evening watching the sun go down was memorable
