David and Jean run an efficient B&B, some would say a bit dated but my wife, who is very fussy, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked to order. Our hosts go the extra mile to ensure their guests are happy. The bedrooms, dining room and lounge together with all hallways were spotlessly clean. If you want an unpretentious home from home atmosphere in the centre of town, look no further and experience this lovely couples hospitality.

a really lovely short break , central to town and jean and Dave couldn't have been nicer. A lovely friendly couple , an excellent and very filling breakfast in the morning cooked to perfection by Dave and tho I hadn't said I was vegetarian and didn't mention it on the 1st morning Jean picked up on it straight away and offered vegetarian sausages which was impressive. Tea and coffee in bedroom and a wee chocolate bar was something to look forward to in the evening. Rooms serviced daily and the area is quiet.jean and Dave are edging towards retirement so they only take on maybe 6-8 guests so it's very suitable for anyone wanting a quiet break. I was a solo traveller and my original booking didn't include ensuite which suited me fine but when I arrived I found I had been upgraded to an ensuite at no extra cost.compared to other guest houses in jersey I found Surrey lodge very reasonable and would highly recommend it.

A warm welcome from Jean and Dave. The hotel is just on the edge of the town within easy walking distance of the harbour and the bus station. Our room was scrupulously clean and very comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities and even a small fridge. Breakfast cooked by Dave was everything you could wish for. We were asked every morning what we would like; full cooked breakfast, omelette, poached/scrambled egg on toast. Fruit, cereal or yoghurt. Stay here you will not regret it!

Dave & Jean Walter's beautiful Guest House is a superb place to stay to enjoy a visit to the lovely Island of Jersey. Lovely rooms, impeccably clean & Dave's breakfasts, second to none, starts the day off brilliantly. Nothing is too much trouble for them, including booking trips & arranging pick up from Surrey Lodge. Free Wi-Fi, complimentary tea & coffee, fridge, hairdryer & more. Short walk to centre of St. Helier so ideally situated. Well recommended & must not forget the 'penguin'.

Surrey Lodge is a first class guest house - nothing was too much trouble for Jean and Dave. They made you feel welcome right from the start, it is ideally placed for the centre of St Helier and their breakfasts were wonderful. I would love to go back and stay there again when next in Jersey......I didn't want to go home!

What a lovely place to stay! Easy to get to from the bus station. Ask Jean to email you the walking directions sheet. Spotless clean and incredibly comfy bed. Room lovely and warm. Room well maintained and we loved the Penguin bar each day haha. Breakfast delicious every day. Jean and David could not have been better hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Really helpful and friendly. When we return to Jersey, we will definitely be back here..... Thanks very much indeed

I have been coming here now for the last 5 years, it is ideally situated close to town and with many restaurants a short walk away. The rooms are a reasonable size, very clean and have very comfy beds.! Dave and Jean are a lovely couple who will go out of their way to ensure your stay is comfortable. I had a fridge and even a microwave in my room !
