We stayed here in our way to Florida. Friendly staff, clean bathrooms. Nice lot. Good place to walk after a long day. Will stay on the way back. Coffee available in the morning. Nice lot with easy pull in.
Showers are very clean . Large campsites. Concrete pads with nice tables. Very friendly staff. Laundry and pool are well maintained. Campground is very close to I 95 but no noise. Easy on and off for campers.

The person who took my reservation said one person reported seeing one, but that she never had. I didn't see any. But I live in Florida and there are gators everywhere, you just keep your distance. There is a lake water park in Weeki Wachee that occasionally gets gators, they just move them out, never been any trouble. I wouldn't swim in the lake (there's a pool, anyway) but kayaking should be quite safe. If you are worried about them coming out into the campground it's never happened.
