Second stay here. First was an overnight in March. We stayed here again over Memorial Day weekend. Used it as a rendezvous with family from Florida.

The person who took my reservation said one person reported seeing one, but that she never had. I didn't see any. But I live in Florida and there are gators everywhere, you just keep your distance. There is a lake water park in Weeki Wachee that occasionally gets gators, they just move them out, never been any trouble. I wouldn't swim in the lake (there's a pool, anyway) but kayaking should be quite safe. If you are worried about them coming out into the campground it's never happened.
