We stayed here one night while touring Clemson University. It is minutes from campus. The room was on the smaller side but very clean. The breakfast was included and it had a wide variety of options. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is free parking in the hotel lot as well.

This hotel was very clean and close to Clemson University. I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Clemson University. It was about a 3 minute drive away. Safe area and plenty of parking.

This Holiday Inn Express was a great place to stay after a long drive!! Shout out to Aiden ... thanks for all the help. Breakfast was very good, great selection. Rooms are clean, WiFi was great. Would recommend if you’re in Clemson.

My family stayed here during the Hurricane Dorian evacuation. We checked in at 3 am and the front desk clerk (a dark haired female) could not have been nicer or more patient. She should be commended for being so professional. This property is very clean and very well managed. During my entire stay, the staff and the amenities exceeded my high expectations. Breakfast was nice. The cinnamon buns were yummy. I felt safe. Everything was clean. I talked to several managers over a billing error and also a few of the housekeepers. Everyone was lovely and the error was corrected. The hotel was very modern & updated too. I will definitely stay here again.

I'm pleased to hear that we were able to make the best of a bad situation. This was the second year in a row that we have hosted evacuees due to a hurricane. Personally, I have not had the experience of up and leaving my home due to a natural disaster, but do understand how difficult it can be. Though the reason you stayed with us was not ideal, it is fulfilling that you and your family felt safe and enjoyed your time here in the Clemson Area. I hope we eased some of the stress you were experiencing. We hope to see you again under better circumstances. This is a great area for hiking and other outdoor activities. Please keep us in mind for a short weekend or vacation when you have an opportunity.

Had some business in this area recently and was glad that I selected this location. As a platinum member of IHG, they upgraded me to the suite and I enjoyed the breakfast each morning. I had the pool each morning and I found the towels to be fresh and hot out of their dryer!

I visited twice in June 2019. Both visits for two nights. Pros Convenient to Clemson University. Ample free parking. Courteous and attentive front desk staff. Rooms clean on check in. Cons No cookies on weekends. This is a weekday perk only. Housekeeping did a poor job. Refrigerator does not include a freezer so don't bring back ice cream or anything that requires a freezer.

We aim to deliver superior value through our brilliant basics, but I'm concerned that this didn't fully happen as expected. I'm sorry that our staff came in short in keeping up to the level of cleanliness you were hoping for. I also read that you wished the cookies were also served during the weekends and your suggestion to put in a fridge to keep food items cold. It certainly is a good idea to have an ice cream that is kept cold at the comforts of your room. Trust that I informed our management about these, so we can provide more superior service. On a lighter note, I'm glad that you find our location convenient, parking accessible, and our staff of great help. Hope you give us another try in Clemson. I'm sure it will be better. First visit to Clemson for orientation for our daughter so we will be back and forth for 4 years (hopefully). I'd give this place 5 stars if the beds weren't so soft. They just felt like cheap foam. The place was clean, comfortable despite the bed and staff was very helpful, professional, and friendly. The pool was comfortable and relaxing. Room refrigerator could have been bigger. It was only a small square refrigerator and not the taller ones we usually get in hotels. Shower is a great size. Wish they included breakfast at this price. Location is perfect.

We left personal items and luckily realized before leaving town. Informed the front desk , upon arriving to retrieve the items were told they were not located. Until we forced the issue, the items were returned within minutes. No apologies received and discovered our items obviously had been Absorbed with cigarette smoke. Housekkeeping and front desk employees aren’t trustworthy

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express when we went to a reunion on campus. The rooms were clean and we got the size and location we asked for. Check in was easy and the staff was exceptional. The following morning breakfast was part of the reservation. I prefer a Holiday Inn when we travel. Always clean and free breakfast and reasonable price.

This property needs to be rehabilitated. The upper floors are dimly lit and olive drab. The bathrooms are dated. The room rates are the same as much nicer properties in the area. Not our first choice when coming to Clemson.....
