Keen Lake is without a doubt a beautiful and wonderful place to spend with family or alone. The grounds are impeccable, the staff is extremely friendly, courteous and address problems right away. Keen Lake has an atmosphere of “home feeling”.. would definitely continue to go there. Amenities are wonderful.
Had an absolutely fantastic time at Keen Lake! The staff was friendly and helpful, the park was clean, organized and well maintained and the events for our kids were often, fun and well planned. Speaking with Janet briefly during one of the kids events was a pleasure. We will absolutely be back next season.
This is our second time glamping here with our kids, friends, and their kids - first trip was 2020. We have also tent camped here, always a great time! We go to enjoy the lake and each other, hiking nearby. Everything is CLEAN and well taken care of. Even our "I don't do camping" friends were comfortable and can't wait to come back. Thank you for your outstandingly polite and personable staff, mix that with clean and well cared for properties, and it's a win! Looking to enjoy many more years coming here!
This lake resort is wonderful! We had a perfect RV site right on the lake. The campground is meticulously kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. We rented an Aqua Cycle and pedaled around the lake. We highly recommend a visit to the Keen Lake Camping and Cottage Resort!
We had a nice time at the lake resort. The park was clean and well maintained. Everyone was very friendly. The only item to bring to the attention to management is the bathroom/shower buildings with the one shower should have a lock on the door for privacy and security. When using the facilities others just walked in.
As always the staff and owners are /were incredible helpful and courteous .. and as far as putting RELAX in your vacation even when it rained ... You ARE. Still at KEEN LAKE .. slice of heaven . Just walking with the other campers they just seem to be a different kinder people you normally come across at other campgrounds..
all amenities are updated. Lotsa stuff for kids to do. Great place for glamping, camping or RVing. Nice pool, game room, laundry room. Lake and scenery is beautiful. Site is very clean. Prices at the stores are great too. 24hr security and maintenance guy is great.
Back again for our Labor Day Weekend camping trip. We go basic lakeside in the Pioneer Section (no water or electric hookups, although those are available if you want). We love coming back to the campground because it is just right. The lakeside sites are very nice and fishing from the shore is fun. The camp store has all the basics plus more so no need to go elsewhere. But close by there is a supermarket, beer distributor and dollar general if you need. The people running the campground (the Keen sisters and all of the workers) are super friendly and accommodating. There are plenty of on the lake activities if you wish (boating, paddle boats and a beach) and also off lake (a pool, playgrounds, ceramics). Sunday night tops off with a Karaoke show down and dance. The Pioneer section has two bathhouses with showers (basic but functional) and a few outhouses. We have a great time each time and are looking forward to next summer.…
It is a nice place to go. They have a lake and pool small store, and the staff is friendly. One big problem the roads are narrow and if you have a big RV, it is not easy to maneuver. I hit a fence post and tore my awning arm, Then I was trying to maneuver the RV and hit a big stump and rock and damaged my lower bumper on my pickup truck. While there a main hose disconnected, and we had no water. When I called the emergency number no one called back. two hours later they did fix it. never let us know. So, it is a nice place but not one I will go back to.
We just recently stayed at Keen Lake for the weekend! We stayed on Sites L21 and L22. It was such a beautiful weekend. The campsites were smaller than expected, but we were still able to fit 2 medium/large tents on each site! If you want more room, I suggest renting out 2 sites and next to each other if you're staying on any of the "L" lots. You must pay the $25 to secure that they dont move either of your sites when you are booking though. ***The golf cart rental is a MUST.*** It made it so much easier to go back and forth from the pool/swim area/playground. We had our 1 and 3 year old boys with us. They had a blast! The sun does directly hit the sites all day long, so I would suggest bringing a 10x10 pop up tent for shade. They start to get shade around 2-3pm. The view of the lake is so beautiful, especially in the early morning hours! There is an electrical and water post, but it is down near the water. I highly recommend bringing a surge protector so you can plug more than 1 thing in at a time. I also suggest bringing a long extension cord. This is so if you need to use a fan inside the tent or charge your phone inside the tent, so it doesn't get wet, it'll be able to reach wherever you'd like. Hopefully these tips were helpful! I didn't see the sites before traveling there, so I wish someone had written a review like this for me when I was booking. Overall, it was a great weekend, and we are definitely booking next summer!!…
