Completely enjoyed our sta at Brownstone. We have stayed at meany B&Bs and this is one of the best (maybe the best). Completely enjoyed conversation with hosts over breakfast and opportunity to have dinner at an Amish home. Clearly hosting is labor of love for this couple.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Brownstone Colonial Inn. Upon arrival, we were greeted with warm just out-of-the-oven cookies, and settled into "Grandpa's Room". The room was cozy and immaculately clean, and the bed was so comfortable. I don't know if it was the bed itself or

My wife and I enjoyed the B&B for a weekend away and had a great time. Brenda and Mark were so welcoming and warm. The food was fantastic. We had such a good time at breakfast that I think we sat at the table for two hours just talking to Mark and Brenda and a couple other

Mark and Brenda were absolutely the most gracious and welcoming of hosts! They had so many wonderful recommendations of places to eat and things to do in the area. The room was so clean, comfortable and just a wonderful experience in whole feeling like we stepped back in time

Thank you for your inquiry. We are an 18th century restored sandstone farmhouse, nestled in the country on 7 acres. We are surrounded by several farms and less than a mile from some state game land, also about ten minutes from Middle Creek Wildlife Preservation, where you'll find Canada geese, snow geese and an occasional bald eagle. Deer, pheasants, turkeys and quail are plentiful, although since we have two dogs and a cat on premise, we don't often see them. One time another guest, who was a professional painter, stayed with us and sat on a hilly area behind our neighbor's barn and painted landscapes all day long! There are many scenic landscapes and wildlife all around us, yet we are close to antique shopping, and historical and cultural attractions. Please call us today if we can accommodate you: 717-484-4460. Thanks, Brenda Miller Brownstone Colonial Inn
