Recently we spent two nights at this motel. The motel was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Because of COVID, we could not have breakfast in dining room but the food served in our rooms was very good. I highly recommend this motel and will stay there on my next trip to PA.
Fairly new, not really within walking dis stance to anything other than a Sheetz, clean, friendly staff. They give you a carry away breakfast (Breakfast sandwich, drink, pastry. granola bar, and piece of fruit) which is more than we've gotten at a couple of places over the pandemic. Easy check-in and other than the people next to us who decided it's okay to leave their lock across as they walk from room to room and letting the door bounce off the lock over and over, it was quiet. Only 1 washer and dryer, which I always find inconvenient, but at least they had one. We'd stay here again.
Folks, I had a one-night reservation with my business on a long multi-state, multi-hotel trip. All hotels were to have been cancelled -- this one reservation was missed by accident/craziness with COVID travel. Long story short, when my credit card statement came, I saw a $118 charge so called to explain the situation and see if I could get it reimbursed. Long story, I reached Justin (General Manager who has no last name) and explained the situation. He was clear he would keep the money unless I had a cancellation #. I explained (multiple times) that the point was that this particular hotel cancellation was missed in the COVID # travel changes. Since the room was not used (and the hotel also had other vacancies -- did not have to turn others away), I requested a fair refund. Justin was rude, told me he would not give me his supervisor's name and told me to call CHOICE Corporate. I will and I hope he is given a lesson in Customer Service. Golden Rule always applies. Highly recommend you do not stay there. I know I never will in future travel to the area.…
We’ve stayed here before. The location is fine and easy to get to. It’s right across from the airport and we didn’t really hear anything. Front desk staff is great. I can’t say that for housekeeping. We arrived in the evening and settled in. When I went to take a shower I noticed the only towel there was a bath towel under the sink. That was it. No wash cloths,no hand towels. Nothing. I did the best I could with one towel and went downstairs with a wet head. I was greeted very warmly by the lady at the front desk & explained the issue. She very nicely gave me a full set of towels and wished me a good night. Wonderful. We left the next day to spend time touring Harrisburg. We returned 6 hours later to a dirty room. Housekeeping hadn’t touched it. And before the manager even asks me about this review....we left nothing on the bed,couch or floor. There was no do not disturb sign on the door. I cleaned up what I could and made the bed and pushed the dirty towels to the corner. I went downstairs and spoke (again) to a very nice gentleman at the front desk who wrote a note and said he would pass the message along. He apologized profusely and I in turn said it wasn’t his fault. He was very busy taking care of the hotel. He was alone and I give him credit for all he had to handle. The next morning at checkout the general manager was there. I told him what happened and again he apologized and then gave us $25 off our bill, which was nice. However, for the work I had to put in cleaning a room I would have liked my “salary” to have been at least a bit more. We traveled 4 hours to get there. If I wanted to clean I would have stayed home. My suggestion to this hotel is to get your housekeeping staff together and find a way to make sure this doesn’t happen again. And please tell whoever was cleaning rooms on the fourth floor to turn her radio OFF on her cart....the music woke us up. …
Picked this location for convenience to the airport and shuttle service availability. Found out on arrival that the shuttle had to be booked (which I didn't know) so call ahead to let them know your ETA. Taxis readily available. Otherwise, friendly staff, clean, breakfast comes with real eggs. Both computers in the "business center" were down.
