We had 3 luxurious nights in the Allawah cabin, photos do not really capture how beautiful this place is. Exactly what we needed and a beautiful place to celebrate my birthday. My husband and I stayed here this last weekend and cannot speak highly enough of the place. It is absolutely beautiful. Your weekend comes with a fridge full of food which is ample for two people. The accommodation is very clean and you do not want for anything. We will be back.

Our stay at Somewhere Unique is one that we will fondly remember. Everything from our wonderful hosts, Nick and Julia, to our beautiful accommodation and the gorgeous surroundings made our stay truly memorable! Unfortunately our stay was impacted by local flooding, and we couldn't visit the local attractions as planned, and our massages could not proceed, but we couldn't think of a better place to spend some quality time together and celebrate my birthday! We took advantage of the bad weather and totally relaxed and enjoyed the comforts of our amazing accommodation, along with the very generous provisions provided and the little extra touches which made our stay extra special! Our hosts ensured we had everything we needed and that we were safe and dry during the flood event. We would thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will certainly recommend Somewhere Unique to all our friends and family, and we look forward to visiting again.…

Somewhere Unique was an exceptional place to spend our 20th Wedding Anniversary. The love and pride the hosts have in this retreat is obvious the minute you arrive. The little touches, the congratulatory gift, the impeccable condition of the retreat, the generosity of provisions, and the flavour of the bourguignon - wow! This time away exceeded all of our expectations. Such a peaceful location, away from everything, and so beautiful. If you have the privilege of staying here, be sure to read David's "not-so-short history" provided in the folder - a fantastic insight into Wollombi, the retreat and the hosts. Thank you so much for it all - a memory we will treasure for years to come, and hope to revisit again.

Took my husband here for his birthday, there was a personal welcome sign at the front door, we stepped inside and was greeted with relaxing music and a wonderful clean spacious retreat. The food we had ordered was endless and delicious and Murray & David had left a birthday cake as an added extra. Spacious bedroom with high class linen, huge bathroom with the biggest bath I had ever seen. Every detail had been covered this wikk not be the last time , in fact we are taking parents back next month. Would highly recommend if you like peace & tranquility, and amazing accommodation.

My wife and I enjoyed a truly delightful retreat at 'Somewhere Unique' early last Spring. The beautiful natural setting, excellent accommodation in 'Lowanna 'and the deliciously generous food and refreshments provided by Murray and David made for an idyllic four days. There simply aren’t enough superlatives to describe this place. Murray and David have thought of everything. The bath was like a swimming pool that overlooks a private bush setting. The thing that makes us want to come back though is the thoughtfulness, good taste, and commitment to sustainability that is evident in how the place is presented. Strongly recommend a visit for that special weekend away.
