We (couple in early 70s) stayed one night mid trip from Bathurst north) in June 2022. Location and price point were fine. The room was roomy, clean and most adequate. Reception and attentiveness of staff were good. An internet search shows limited dining in Singleton, but there is no need to go elsewhere. The on-site restaurant deserved a bigger crowd. As other reviews have noted, the beef cheeks are to die for. Our room was highway side, but the traffic noise was a non-problem We skipped the motal continental brekkie to eat at the nearby visitor centre.
We were there just one night. The rooms are comfortable and clean but very dated. Ate at the restaurant. Service was pretty poor. We actually booked and were shown to our table with just one seat. The food was ordinary to say the best. What really got up my nose; they didn't want to know about the NSW Stay voucher. There are plenty of other options; they couldn't be any worst. One good thing, the staff are multi-lingual; speaking bogan.
Our room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and very quiet, no noise from the busy road out front. The staff both in the motel and restaurant were professional yet very friendly and warm. Dinner was delicious with generous portion sizes and, not surprisingly since it is the Hunter, local wine which was lovely. I'd happily stay here again and highly recommend if you're looking for accommodation in Singleton.
Quite often stay here for work. The accommodation is great and an awesome restaurant to top it off. Food and menu is fantastic Good ammenities and very close to pubs and shops. Hunter valley isn’t that far away. But just don’t go past the restaurant here
We stayed at this motel after visiting the Hunter Valley Gardens Christmas Lights Spectacular. Motel was easy to find with plenty of parking. Staff were friendly. Room was basic but had everything we needed and the beds were ok. Kids enjoyed swimming in the pool which also had floaties and pool noodles for the kids. Room included free breakfast consisting of toast, cereal, juice, yoghurt, and tea/coffee/hot chocolate. For $130, it was a great choice for a budget overnighter!
Nice modern Motel, Enjoyed my stay,.has a lift, had a room with a balcony overlooking the Pool & surrounds.Continental Breakfast included in price,Friendly Staff.Comfortable beds,Theres a Restaurant there too.Motel is on the Southside of Town.Easy drive to everything.
Restaurant food is sensational !!! Stay here quite often for work and always look forward to the food every time I stay here, In particular the BANGERS and MASH is the BOMB. Staff are polite and courteous ✅👍 A must try for everyone Andrew Conco systems
So disappointed. We stayed there in 2018. But this time the front desk staff were polite but I wouldn’t say friendly. The restaurant was amazing. The staff very friendly and the food to die for. Especially the beef cheeks The room was clean and nice. On the back of the bathroom door you can see where they have done renovations and just painted the holes. A little tacky. The fridge froze everything but that didn’t matter for us. We didn’t need it. This morning we had the continental breakfast. We were told we could only have this from between 7:30 am and 8:30 am. I was shocked. On a weekend this is not good service. To call it a continental breakfast is a stretch. Cereal toast a little strawberries a small amount of cut pineapple and grapes. There were whole bananas too. Tea. Coffee. Juice and one milk. Full cream. There were no croissants or pastries. The three men who looked after us looked like tradies. Friendly enough but I wouldn’t call them waiters. Sadly not worth the money.…
This hotel (motel?) definately would have been a cut above average when built (1980s?). It does have a more grand vibe than the average country motel however it's now rather tired. Staff friendly. Restaurant quite good. Breakfast allegedly included but is actually $20 if you want anything other than toast (staff member supervising unauthorised access to the buffet). The breakfast thing was misleading and cheap. Oh well.
I have stayed at this motel a number of times over the years. Simply it needs updating! The motel was opened in the 80’s and has representing architectural features in the common and restaurant areas, This is good to keep! But guests want modern and current comfortable decor in there rooms. The grounds and driveway entrance need a makeover. My military reference is about the signage! lesson the signage, guests don’t need to be told three times to leave a tray outside the room and in 45 minutes. It was always a pleasure to stay at this accomodation, but I will be finding alt accomodation until it is updated. The employees are very well presented and always very polite and informative.
