We found the Gundagai Tourist Suites on booking.com. They are self catering motel rooms but very spacious, all new and very clean and modern. The kitchenette had everything we needed with microwave, kettle and toaster, crockery and cutlery and a good sized fridge. Our bed was very comfortable. The shower and basin had liquid soap/ body shampoo supplied. We are a small table and chairs to eat our meals, a TV and a comfortable lounge chair. Walk into town for groceries or cafes. Very quiet, reasonable internet. It really was an ideal spot to stop for one night on our way back north to Queensland.

One of a network of G'Day parks I frequent on my travels between Newcastle NSW and Launceston TAS. Provides a reliable haven where I can feel comfortable with my car out the front of my own lockable cabin. Right next to the Gundagai public pool when it opens late in the morning for a refreshing dip before leaving Gundagai. Friendly staff, personal space, the occasional inquisitive native bird and a fully functional kitchen.

Friendly staff on arrival, heaps of dining options given for the evening/next morning. Drive through undercover site with ensuite (optional) Perfect for the an overnight stay, easy walk to the Main Street with a fantastic kids playground and Woolworths to pick up some essentials. Exceptionally clean and tidy. Will be back again, and staying more than one night.

Stayed one night stopover in our van on the grass area. Amenities were great! Felt like private ensuite's. Easy walk to Main Street. Would definitely stay here again. Shout out to Vicky who was just lovely on in check in.

Excellent- the undercover area was fantastic and the ensuite bathroom was very clean and quite roomy. The shower was a great size. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The park itself was clean and tidy and, even though I didn’t utilise it, they now have a weigh bridge that you can use to check your weights before heading off on more adventures

A one night stopover on the way home from Queensland. Cabin was very clean and warm, it was very cold overnight. Electric blanket was very nice. We thought freeway noise from trucks may have been a problem but we didn’t hear them. Exceptionally well set up facility. Even a weighbridge for cars and caravans. Walking distance to the pubs and clubs too.

Stayed 1 night during July. Cabin was quite cold but it had aircon and electric blankets. The 2 bedroom cabin was also quite spacious and the staff were courteous. The main negative was the closeness of the Hume Hwy. It was quite noisy during the night.

Nice and clean. Informative staff. But, further I travel in NSW dearer the parks get. This place is $50/n plus $15/n for the ensuite, questionable! This is off season. So why so dear? Van Sites are under cover, but it places two vans side by side apprx 2m apart at most. Very limited privacy. Can hear everything that happens next door except a pin dropping. Bad design from the 70’s. If you are deaf, like me, don’t turn the TV up! Clearance for the undercover park is fractionally above 3.5m. My van is 3.5m to top of a/c so just fitted under.
